Hillfields Keeper dilemma

Hi Hillfields have a bit of a dilemma, we seem to have no keeper for the forth coming season.

I know it’s a long shot but is there anyone out there who is or knows a keeper who is available to play next season but doesn’t have a club or starting place!!

Also Hillfields are entered in a 6 a side tournament this sat, I am waiting to hear back from a couple of guys but if I don’t hear back by the end of today is there anyone who would like to play in goal for us.

Cheers

Rich

I still have one year left on my Counterslip contract I'm afraid.

Lumpar's been snapped up, Kirby can't catch or run or kick, Spring's got no spring, Fordy's not tall enough, Beano can't be trusted because he has wandering hands in the area, Eakes isn't quick enough off his line and his pace will be missed at the back (emoticon), JP is an ever present in defence and Dan Flynn is not vocal enough to marshall the defence.

I'm struggling to help Crofty...

Cheers Eakes. I am still holding out for our keeper from last season but getting hold of him is becoming impossible.

Did you manage to sort out a training venue?

If there's no keeper available, the senior player should go in goal. It's the decent thing to do. Why don't you all just rotate? Most keepers in the league are just 'excellent shot-stoppers' anyway - i.e. they're crap - so you're unlikely to suffer too much. emoticon

A personal favourite of Matt Hyde!! According to him, all keepers should be excellent shot stoppers anyway - it's their job emoticon
