Foamies Begins Chest
Heya, thought I would post some pics of my first suit. Going the el cheapo route w00t.
Even though it is foamies I am attempting to still accomplish the 3D look/feel by making a foamies base, and then gluing the pieces on top. There has been no painting or plasti dipping yet, just gluing.
I am also still working on the foundation for the the pecs, hence why it looks kind of flat. Here is what I have so far... Any opinions, comments or instructions are much welcomed.

Re: Begins Foamies
I like the way its coming! the begins is the only one i havent created yet. 1 small tip if you want it to be a little more accurate is to blow up a picture of his chest(maybe just half so it fits on ur computer screen) Then trace it to have an accurate stensil of the emblem. This will make it more professional and people will be in awe that you have created it from Foamies! other than that lil thing, the shape is looking great and i cant wait to see it finishd bro! :up

Re: Begins Foamies
looks great will. I'm still debating between foamies or posterboard with resin/fiberglass reinforcing, but this is a great inspiration for me.

Re: Begins Foamies
What thickness foamies are you using? I used all the thinnest ones on mine and I found that to get the desired depth, I had to double up in some areas. Just a thought. Lookin very good at this point though. :up

Re: Begins Foamies
Thanks for inspiration guys, and the tip about the pics. I think I am going to recreate the pecs using that method and use what I have now for a base.

dont go the foamboard route, it has zero give, and no matter how small u make the plates they just arent comfortable
i ended up removing mine. but if you heat the foamies in your oven at about 220f they shrink a little and will take and hold a sort of mold.
