On Wednesday April 16 Troy ventured out in his mini enduro car at Twin Cities Raceway Park where he was batteling for the lead when his 10 year old son was turned into the wall and Racing Troy became Dad real quick giving up the race for the lead to push Bryson off the track to safety. Troy came through the race after becoming a lap down for his heroics and finished 5th.

On Friday April 18th Troy ran at Bloomington Speedway where he ran 3rd in his heat race and mother nature won before the B-Mains were completed.
On Saturday the 19th Troy ran at TCRP with a promising run for the superstock but made some bad adjustments before feature time and finished 5th barely. He did however run his mini enduro car in the hornet class picking up his 3rd feature win for 2008 but the first for the little red X X X. Way to go Troy.

Not a very good weekend for Troy as some of you already know. Troy started the weekend at Bloomington Speedway on Friday night. He started 3rd row inside of his heat race, was trying to go for the lead, got to low and hit the tire on the inside of turn 2 which caused him to get into the leader, in turn ended up with a busted front right tire and a bent wheel. Had to run the B main finished 5th in the B but transferred to the A. Started 20th in the A and finished 7th picking up his first hard charger award. Good driving Troy way to go.
Saturday was a different story all together. He was asked to drive a cruiser with the son of a friend and agreed. The superstock was ready and looked pretty good in hotlaps but sometimes looks can be deceiving.
While hotlapping the cruiser the throttle stuck in turns 1 & 2 causing them to hit the corner of the exit to pit rd destroying the car and leaving both driver and passenger quite shook up to say the least. Both are fine today just a little sore. Superstock heat was rough as well the car appeared to have a mind of its own because it obviously didn't do what Troy wanted it to do. Troy spun in turn 2 and had to be push started after trying to control the car for a couple more laps Troy pulled off. Feature time, Troy started 9th and was still struggling with the handling, Almost hit the wall coming out of 4, got in turn 1 and the tierod broke. Not his night and not his weekend. We hope for a turn around next weekend.
Friday night Troy will be back at Bloomington and Saturday we will be back at Twin Cities Raceway Park. Hope to see all of his fans there cheering him on.

On Sunday May 4Troy ventured to Union County Speedway starting 2nd row outside his heat and captured the win redraw started him 2nd row outside the feature and once again captured the win. Troy has now won at every track he has taken this car to. Way to go and great job.

another not so good weekend for racing. Friday May 9th we had planned on running Union County Speedway but mother nature won the race there. Instead we decided to run Farmer City, IL.. We made the journey there arriving just in time for the heat race to line up finished 3rd in the heat had a flat in the feature and was not allowed to reenter the track after changing the tire. Saturday, we ran Twin Cities Raceway Park, after a rough fought battle in the feature we finished 5th but once again our car is not in good shape. The front end is tore off again and the entire body is beat to death. Bout time for a new body. Better luck next weekend.

Friday May 23 Mother Nature won at Bloomington Speedway
Saturday May 24 Troy went to Lincoln Park Speedway where he scored his first win at this track and his first BOSS Series win for 2008 Way to go.

Sunday May 25 Troy did not get to run do to tranny problems with his hornet. His sons A.J. and Bryson ran at Greensburg speedway. AJ finished 2nd in the heat race and 4th in the feature. Bryson finished 5th in the heat race and 5th in the feature. Great job boys and hope to see Troy running at TCRP today Monday May 26. Good luck.
