Sadly, yes. Looks like Socal viewers are more interested in the KBS daily drama than this one.

At the moment I'm actually surprised I havn't found Be Strong Geum-soon tiring yet...let's just see if I feel the same way when I reach ep 80+, seems like w/ the KBS daily dramas, that would be about the time I started losing interest.

Now I can't wait to get home and finish timing subs to the salon scene in ep 30...I might have to go and make a clip of the one scene where JH "instructs" GS for you to do a translation as well, hopefully you're up for it =)

Yeah...this drama has been really good so far. I totally think it's way better than the kbs one right now. I can just see Han Hye Jin making it big, hehe. My grandma read in an article once saying that Han Hye Jin's life is like GeumSoon...like she grew up very poor (i think) and she strived for her goals in becoming an actress, never giving up...and never being discouraged with minor roles...and just tries her best in everything...and now, she's well known.

Summary of an article on the daily drama:

'Be Strong GeumSoon' drama is striving for 30% in ratings.

Currently, the highest rating they had so far was 26.3%.

It's basically saying how lots of viewers/netizens are interesting in the whole relationship/secret behind GeumSoon and her birth mother. Viewers are curious of how HanHyeJin (GeumSoon) and Kang Ji Hwan's (Jaehee) love will develop and is waiting for it to show soon. This drama finally took into consideration as one of the most popular weekly drama that is out right now. First time in three years, this MBC drama has shown that it is doing better than KBS weekly dramas. (KBS weekly/dramas were skyrocketing for the past couple years, while MBC was not doing TOO well). They believe that this drama will hit or pass the 30% in ratings when they start showing the comical love between GeumSoon and JaeHee. One of the highlight scenes that might trigger the ratings to reach up to 30% would be the scene (hasn't been shown yet): GeumSoon finding out that there is some kind of relationship/history between Jaehee and GeumSoon's husband who died. (the surgery scene, where JaeHee accidently screwed up on something...?)..
