I'm sure if Shi-wan wasn't the first son, Sung-ran might have been more comfortable...but then again, she must feel she's not good enough for him if she thinks that way. Or she doesn't want to go through the hassle of his parents.

I hope Sung ran will let down her guard and trust Shi wan and tell him her entire story.

I am doing my weekly catch- up on Geum Soon , and just finished eps 31 - 32 . I have not read the previous posts dealing with these eps yet , as I do not want to spoil myself . I know some eps are more interesting than others , but on the whole I am really enjoying this series . There are certainly some characters that I like more than others , and other characters that can be exasperating - for one , GS granny .

I could seriously feel the shock that both SungRan and ShiWan felt after the catastrophe with the couples rings . I think that neither one were communicating with each other . I do think they are attracted to each other , but he can't get over his college age crush , and she is tied by her history . In truth , we do not know if SR is interested in remarriage at all . It is obvious that she has been hurt by the experience . ..and what is so wrong with wanting to have a good time ? ShiWan is handsome , nice , etc . Of course his premature devotion is hard to miss , as is her reticence . Maybe neither one is looking . My feeling is that SHiWan should back off and give her some room , and get to know the REAL Sung Ran . After all , after 12 years they are BOTH different people .

I have a problem with the way GS is being treated at work . The physical violence in this show has been hard to swallow - especially with another baseball bat beating .

The only good thing is that Auntie has stood up for Granny , and the No family seems to be drawing closer - Hwe Sung would be a powerful ice breaker as he is adorable

On to 33 - 34 , then I will catch up with the posts

I caught up on all the posts , and ep 33 - 34 too .

I am also confused , but perhaps it is not good to look at things too closely . For one thing , unless I am mistaken - Ms Jang left GS with her gramma when she was about 8 months old . If you all remember the photo that GS mom kept looking at - the baby appeared to be about that age . I think that Ms Jang got pregnant , and apparently that ruined their chances for letting the MIL in to the situation easily . I think that Ms Jang must have lost that baby thought , because EunJin is about 13 and GS is 23 .

As I said , I don't want to to do the math too closely as it may not hold up . I DO think that the window of opportunity if bringing GS with would have closed if they didn't do it before their marriage .

I don't understand EunJoo 's being so nice to Ms OH , and being so heartless to MS JAng . As JaeHee said , You habe been in that family over 13 years . I never heard of anyone holding a grudge that long , and if she is for real ..

I think that when Sung Ran said " ShiWan - so you are like al the others "She was saying that as a divorcee she would not be considered marriage material by ShiWan as he has not been married yet .
I watched a show called "Love Marriage " in the Kdrama Video club and in it , divorced persons were not even supposed to date those that had not been divorced . That may have been part of the (unconscious ) reason why she hadn't told him - and it may be part of the reason that ShiWan is agonizing now . HE is going to have to get his head past that little detail ....and I'll bet Ms NO would be singing a different tune too if she knew .

Looking forward to the next installment tomorrow . MS Jang sure looks frail . If she collapses ........???

Very good episodes #35 & #36...

GS practicing her head massage and Jae Hee ends up giving her a lesson. He's still trying to treat her as if he doesn't even like her as a person but he keeps watching her.

Granny is sleeping and Hwee boy makes a mess in the house. Aunt and GA come home and Aunt is furious. I know Granny is a great granny to this little boy but she should never have gone to sleep when he is not in a crib or playpen. You just know it's an accident waiting to happen...

Then Granny takes the baby out to do her selling because Aunt is mad. While she isn't looking the little one takes off. How scary!!! Everyone is out looking for him. GS is beside herself with fear and also she had left work without saying anything to anyone. She should have said something....

I got a very creepy feeling when Dr Jang was sitting in his car waiting for GS.. Then it was even creepier when he took the little boy to the police. I mean, the two women who found him were going to take him to the police. And the only reason Dr Jang took him is because he recognized him as GS's son...

I just loved it when Jae Hee comes to pick up Eun Joo from work. He's in the car and searching the window trying to locate GS. Out comes Eun Joo who sees him doing this and she thinks he was looking for her... until he spots GS rushing in to work and he can't take his eyes off her. Eun Joo sees who he is looking at... I can just feel trouble ahead for GS because of Eun Joo.....

Can't wait for the next two episodes.... Geeze, gotta wait for Wed????

I'm finally caught up. I don't really have anything to add that hasn't already been said, but I'm enjoying this drama immensely. Looking forward to the next two episodes.

I just caught up on Mondays eps , and will go on to tonight's shortly .

The transformation on GS's hair is amazing , what a difference .

I don't have much to say about the eps except with the fortuitous meeting of Dr Jang and Hwe Sung , he is able to meet the NOH family . I don't really blame him for that - it was a golden opportunity , plus he was doing a good deed besides .

On to the next .....

I think while Geum Soon was speaking the truth to her MIL - I was not comfortable with her delivery . It is incongruous that she doesn't like to be spoken to rudely , yet speaks rudely to her MIL .

I agree that MS Yoon is beautiful - and kind to GS as well . She has not had much of that

Oh so totally agree about Ms Yoon... She sees something in GS that even I don't see...

I agree Addie.. GS said some pretty harsh things to her MIL and even if they were true she was not nice in the delivery...

Too funny when Jae Hee was on the elevator at the same time as GS. Two other Dr's (or interns) bow a greeting to him and he pretty much ignores them. She calls him on it in a crowded elevator and teases him by saying he has something on his jacket when makes him 'look down' and she called it a bow.. LOL... Even HE had to smile when she got off the elevator. He is amused by her...

GS is at the hospital to give Dr. Jang sweet rice. What is he doing? Setting her up to be obligated to give her kidney to his wife? He gave GS a coupon for a free physical for her granny? Oh for goodness sakes!!

Later, Jae Hee sees GS walking and gives her a ride. He also mentions that he likes her hair better than "crazyhair"... Then she tells him he is handsome but should have shorter bangs. She gets out at the subway entrance and he looks in the mirror at his hair... Bet he gets it cut!!! LOL

GS's Aunt is a bit harsh also when talking to granny about having a day off from babysitting. The only reason that little guy got in to things was because granny went to sleep and left him to do whatever!!!

I got carried away with this and watched about 10 min of #39 before I realized what I was doing. I could sit and watch 6 hours of this and not get bored... I feel the same way about my Yellow Handkerchief too.
