I'm glad tosee Ja Yong is finally getting what she deserves. I was worried that the writers were going to make her pitififul, rather than pitiable. It's refreshing to see a series in which the good guys, not the bad guys, win.

Ok... Last night I saw episode 155... So, if there are 169 then I will be seeing the last of YH in a couple weeks. Thanks for telling me about checking for what show I'm on. I had never noticed that before...

Yes, there are only two more weeks left, and I am happy (and also a bit sad) to see everything wrapping up nicely. My only complaint is how the writers have treated Sang-Min. I wish it didn't take his illness to give up Ji-Min. Is it asking too much that he would change his mind purely from the goodness of his heart? He was such a weasel throughout the series that I had hoped he would redeem himself. It seems like whenever there is a difficult situation, the easy solution is to kill someone off.

BTW, does anyone know which drama will replace YH?

Re: K-Drama: Yellow Handkerchief

'Usually' when a show has only a week or two left it will display the name of the next drama. I've watched for years but never knew there was a forum to chat about the shows. I hate each one to end & seems that every time one does I hear myself saying, "That was the best one ever"... emoticon
I love Ji-Min & Yuna... I know others felt Yuna was spoiled but I thought she was sweet & loving.. She worshipped her daddy. Some one should have asked Sang-Min what he would do if suddenly Yuna'a parents came back & somehow legally were able to 'register' her on their family history. He was/is so self centered. Too bad he didn't wise up until now. But he would be the same if his situation hadn't changed. I hope he recovers & I hope he learned a lesson & he & MJ can get back together. She may be cruel & seem cold but she loves him dearly. She (in my opinion) caused her own miscarriage. She was drinking heavily & worked herself into a nut case. But Sang-Min drove her there. One more thing..... I totally understand that the grandpa wants to have Ji-Min in his life.. That's his grandson & bearer of the family name. But I sure don't like that grandpa. He acts like Yuna is nothing to him. He is pushing too hard & should try to be more understanding w/Ja-Young. She & he used to have a wonderful relationship. He has ruined it. POO ON HIM!!!!

Re: K-Drama: Yellow Handkerchief

Despite Sang Min's being a scum bag, I really do understand his feelings about his son. I'd feel exactly the same. It's easy enough to say, "do the right thing", but not so easy to put into practice when human emotion is taken into account. I think the writers are doing an excellent job in getting this point across.

(But remember, I'm still a ways behind most (all?) of you. emoticon )

Re: K-Drama: Yellow Handkerchief

I understand Sang-Min also... Even though we know how self centered & self absorbed he has been, I also would feel the same about finding out about a child. He doesn't 'deserve' to be Ji-Min father. He thought he had him eliminated at the abortion clinic. But all said and done, we all make mistakes & we all grow & change with time. He found out & wanted to right a wrong. He also was being pressured by Pushy Grandpa who wanted Ji-Min on his family register. This is a small family & Ji-Min is the only one to carry on the name. I really do understand that. And I really have been able to feel pity for SM.... I guess I'm playing right into the writers hands... Willingly!....

Yes, the writers are very good, aren't they?

Am I the only one incredibly annoyed by the incongruous rings of the cell phones on this series? emoticon
