Sorry, guys, I've been out of town for over a week. I'll try to catch up, although I sure remember this one.
As much as I dislike Sang min, I really dislike Min joo even more. She is so selfish, and incredibly possessive. I see Sang min as grabbing the gold ring, but I also see him as a wimp. MJ told him that they were getting married, she makes the decisions. After all, he is her assistant at work. I think she sees him as her assistant husband. Yeah, he manipulates her, but he doesn't do it upfront. He's a sneaky you-know-what! LOL She deserves him. I know I've said that before, but reading your comments made me realize just what an awful person she is. She actually married the right family, because Sang min's dad isn't a great catch either.
I think that Ja young cries because of the situation she's in, not because she wants slime-bag back. Ja young is an honest person, and that gives her strength. Sang min is not an honest person, and that will always bring the person down in the end.

Hi Hyena! So glad you are back. hope your trip was good..
First on Tae Young and Mi Ryung... TY seems to have a very close bond with MR, even though he is not attracted to her one bit. He allows her to follow him around and he doesn't really mind. He also shares his deepest feelings with her.
Mi Ryung does give TY a lot of comfort and in #26 they were comforting each other. But for me, I can't stand Mi Ryung and her silly idiotic personality. I don't find anything enduring or cute about her at all.
Sun Joo goes to see her new BIL at work to try and convince him to talk MJ into allowing her to move out on her own. I think Sang Min would like Sun Joo to disappear along with everyone else who is in his way.
OK, the horrible 'near-meet' dinner... Ja Young and Young Joon are together and in walks Min Joo. She wants to join them and ... Sang Min is on his way... Poor JY had to feel bad enough to go home...asap.
When SM was arriving at the restaurant he sees JY walk out, get in YJ's car and then YJ leans over to fasten JY's seat belt...
Other granny talks to Young Joon and finds out he didn't eat dinner because JY didn't feel well, and that they were to have dinner with Min Joon and Sang Min.. Other granny knows who SM is now she is pretty shocked and feels bad for JY.
It must be torture for Ja Young to be pleasant to MJ. Ja Young keeps getting thrown in Min Joo & Sang Min's paths and now that Young Joon wants to be 'friends' with JY, these unexpected encounters will continue..
I agree Young Joon is acting like he is interested in more than just a friendship with Ja Young.
Oh, an indication of how jealous Min Joo is was when her and SM went to visit dad and she found the SM loves JY cup. She wouldn't let it go and let it ruin the rest of the night... I think SM and MJ are BOTH hot heads... They both scare me!
And Sang Min's dad... I'm really not liking him. He sure is greedy. I agree with Addie that perhaps Sang Min got his greediness from dear ol' dad.
JY tells her co-worker (when co-worker was asking about Young Joon) that YJ is NOT a nice "MAN" but a nice person... meaning she doesn't see him as a man but only a nice person. She told co-worker that she is in no condition in her life to become involved with a man.
Sorry Ja Young, when you just want to be 'friends only' with a man, he will pursue you even more.. (I wish I had known that about men when I was younger!! LOL)
Just an observation.. for as tiny as Min Joo is, she sure has big feet..
Young Joon calls Ja Young to have dinner with Min Joo and Sang Min. Ja Young is short with him and turns him down. Young Joon meets with MJ/SM for dinner and Min Joo asks him, 'Your girlfriend is not with you?" and Sang Min hears Young Joon's answer...... "OH YOU MEAN JA YOUNG"....
Wow, you gonna be sweatin' bullets now aren't you Sang Min!!
And Young Joon assumed Min Joo was talking about Ja Young when she mentioned his 'girlfriend'?

We may have to roll in the easel and the pointer . However , I cut JY all the slack in the world , and it is not really because of the deal with Sang MIn . It is because of her mother's death and the pregnancy . JaYoung is still trying get her head around all of that .
I seriously do not know what is going to happen with Young Joon , but he is in a completely different place in his life . He is probably in his mid 30's(?) and WAS in a serious relationship where he realized that he and his SO wanted COMPLETELY different things in life . He wants a family and to move back to Korea , and his ex wanted no part of any of that scenario . So , YJ moves back to Korea to "start over " and runs
smak dab into Ja Young who is beautiful , refined , seemingly traditional and apparently aloof .
Timing is everything - and while Ja Young's timing seems to be WAY OFF , this is the perfect time for Young Joon .
So , we shall see and
WOW , I am really getting into this drama !

I am just going to post generically on the last two episodes .
I thought Young Joon felt cornered when MiJoo was asking him about his "girlfriend ". YJ said that JY was not his GF , but a friend that he wanted to have tea , dinner and go to the movies ( and talk to every day  )
So , he doesn't realize where he is yet - fair enough .
JY rebuffed his invitation to dinner , and she now knows that YJ's gram did not tell him about who SM is . I think if JY would tell him too , he would understand why she is NOT interested in double dating with those two .
It blew my mind when Na Young left home with her tuition money .After all this family has been through , they didn't need the added worry about her . She is young and selfish ( and clueless ) though .
JY couldn't be any less friendly to MiJoo during the chance meeting in the dept store , could she ??? MJ may need to buy a clue , though she has no reason to suspect the history . Somehow I know things will get a lot more convoluted before we're done .
The sub-family went out shopping , and MJ was home already when they got back . Step mom was upbraided for not "being home to greet " MJ and SM when they came home > WHAT is up with that ?
It is really something what MJ does to them . I think SJ will find a way to move out .....I hope she does for her sake . I still think there is potential for she and TY , but it will be a long time and a lot of flaming hoops to jump through first .
LWK (SM's dad ) was not gracious about his BD gift , and he goes out to a tent bar after his elaborate meal
to wallow in soju . Not matter what JY should NOT have gone to meet him .

I think it was so incredibly rude and selfish of Na Young to take off with that money. If she wanted to leave she should have just left, but not with hard earned money from Ja Young. Also, she knows full well Ja Young has been going through so much. She just didn't care.
It is starting to look like Min Joo is just as pouty and nasty as Sang Min. He is mad while having dinner with Min Joo and Young Joon because they are talking about Ja Young. When Sang Min is mad he makes sure Min Joo suffers for it, or who ever else is around him.
Later, Min Joo is hateful and mad over the 'rejected' birthday gift to dad and she gets mad when SM has to go out to take his drunk dad home. She is then the one that is pouting.
Yeah, that was really something for Min Joo to say something to her step mom about not being there when she got home from work. When Sun Joo tries to defend them going out together for the day, mom gets mad at her, making Sun Joo even madder. She ends up getting slapped by Min Joo. Min Joo is really something. Her and Sang Min belong together!
I think Young Joon may know he is attracted to Ja Young because when Min Joo questions him at dinner he says Ja Young isn't his girlfriend 'yet'... All he wants to do is make this sad woman smile.
Someone needs to tell Young Joon the truth. He could then step out of the picture early on. The more he sees JY, the more he is getting interested. The longer he goes without knowing the truth the more attached he is becoming to her.
But of course, none of us want Young Joon out of the picture.
Oh, when SM's dad was looking in the pots on his b'day I felt sorry for him. I don't know if I like this guy but I felt bad for him then. He remembered past birthday when Ja Young made him some clam soup and they all sat and had a dinner together (at home).
You know, ALL the memories that JY, SM and dad have show Sang Min so happy. He was always laughing and smiling when he was with JY and/or his dad. Not anymore. SM got what he wanted in life, but it took his soul. (Now, Ja Young is around him what ever he's doing, ruining his happiness.)
I'll watch 2 more episodes on Sunday (I just watched my two Thurs episodes)

I thought the “kissing game” Sunjoo started with TY was cute. Leave it to MiRyung to take advantage of it.
I can’t understand why JY doesn’t just come out and say why she doesn’t want to have lunch or dinner with SM or MJ. I can see other grandma not telling YoungJoon. But JY not telling MinJoo something like “I’m sorry but being with you makes me uncomfortable, please ask your husband why”. Or to YJ, “Seeing SM brings back unpleasant memories, I don’t wish associate with him or his wife” And why does she seem apologetic when SM finds her with his father. WHY DOES SHE EVEN BOTHER TO TALK TO SM???
Is it something to do with a subtlety of the culture I don’t know about, or is it just to keep this storyline going? JY can’t keep SM a secret forever.
…Just finished watching ep 29. Looks like the secret is out now.
And NaYoung, yep, she’s a brat. A lot of it is just that she is young and naïve.

It made me so mad to see Ja Young sitting there when Sang Min came in, hanging her head as if she had something to be guilty about! Grrrrrr
JY makes a feeble attempt at telling Sang Min to mind his own business when he takes her for coffee and questions her about why she's seeing his dad and how she knows Young Joon. Hey JY... don't you know how lucky you are to be rid of that creep!!
Sang Min acts like there is a huge Ja Young cloud hanging over him, preventing him from wallowing in his greedy life with Min Joo. I love seeing him squirm and be uncomfortable. He has no right to be happy.
My favorite in #29 was Young Joon telling his granny that Ja Young is being cool towards him. Granny didn't seem like she likes the idea of him with JY and asks him if he was interested in her. He said yes and that he liked JY and mentions something to his granny about JY becoming her DIL (GrandDIL)...
Ja Young and co-worker Joo Yun go drinking... WHY OH WHY IS JY DRINKING WHEN SHE' S PREGNANT??? STUPID STUPID...
Then the big reveal... while out drinking they see Young Joon . Joo Yun gets drunk so Young Joon ends up driving her home. Joo Yun's hubby is waiting for them and when he sees Young Joon he mistakenly assumes its Sang Min, who's he's heard about for hears. He says, "You must be Sang Min"... Young Joon is shocked and looks at Ja Young.. Ja Young can only look away.
YJ & JY have tea and talk about it. Young Joon thought JY pretty much made a fool of him by him not saying anything when he was constantly trying to set up a date with Min Joo & Sang Min. But then he tells her he is sorry if he unintentionally hurt her by doing that. OMG this guy is just the sweetest ever..
Ja Young tells Young Joon that she first thought he already knew because his granny knows. He asks her if Min Joo knows but Ja Young doesn't think so. When he drives her home she starts to get out of the car and he tells her to stay put. He then hops out and opens the door for her. FYI: My dad ALWAYS opened the car door for my mom. You never see guys do that today.
Later Young Joon calls Ja Young to have dinner. She agrees. He tells her his dream is for HER to invite him to dinner. They actually have a nice time and she smiles often.
Why is Ja Young allowing Young Joon to continue to see her when she is pregnant and has stated she is not interested in being with a man? ...... I kinda think being with him comforts her..
However, since she continues to spend time with him, she should tell him the truth about being pregnant. Maybe SHE doesn't think they are dating, but to him, it's dating!
Did we all know Na Young would loose all that money!! What a total brat. She was smug and a big know it all when she stole the money..now she's crying over losing it...
