I don’t get what the big deal is with flowers to women. I know my mother and wife both liked to get flowers. I’ve always viewed it as a waste, but since I knew they liked them, I would get them for Mother’s Day, Birthday, etc. Well, one day I decided I would get my wife some flowers; and it wasn’t any special occasion. I had them delivered, and when I got home from work, my wife was at the door,..With tears in her eyes, she says, “who is she?”
I was taken by surprise and said “Who?” My wife says “The woman you’re seeing”
For months afterword, I would still get grilled about why I got those *&$#@ flowers. Well, you know I never did that again.

I do not have time this evening to watch both Eps of YH . Of course , I had to watch the scene between
Young Joon and and Ja Young . Ja Young tells YJ that she is not "qualified " and doesn't want to see anyone in a romantic way right now - but admits she would be jealous if she heard that YH had proposed to another
woman.

YJ tells her that he will wait til she is ready .........

I don't know why JY doesn't tell him the truth now . SHe tells him she can't be in a relationship right now , but I think when she starts to show that she is regnant , YJ will feel like she has lied to him ( which she has ) I think he will be very hurt .

A part of me thinks YJ may not reject JY is he knew the truth , but how can he make that choice without knowing about it ? And , by keeping him waiting ,he will just care for JY more and more .

I will watch both eps tomorrow night and post and catch up....

What? You mean JY tells YJ she would be jealous if he proposed to another woman? I have no memory of that!! I didn't get to watch yesterday and I may not get to today either (I'm too old for all these physical chores others have me doing!!)...

So, that isn't really very nice for JY to tell him that when it still leads him on... It means she is admitting to liking him, which will give him hope if he hangs in there. It's ok though. I LOVE these two as a couple!

I started 33 over again to rewatch the scene with Ja Young and Young Joon . I have to agree with you that they are ( or will be a great couple ) I think that JaYoung thinks she is a "bad " person , and while she says she is not worthy , YJ says that he will be the judge of that . I always love that !!

In the meantime , JY goes to hospital ,and is told that the baby is unstable . She should avoid taking the stairs . Immediately , JY starts climbing the stairs up and down . I kind of see where she is coming from .
It just goes to show that life is simply not black and white ...this is a definite gray area .

JY apparently signed a pro life petition , but feels it is ok if she has a miscarriage ...obviously she is conflicted about this baby , but cannot take the conscious step of having an abortion ....

I think MR is finally getting it that TY and SJ are attracted to each other . She can't know that TY is fighting tooth and nail about being more than friends . He rebuffed SJ when she again said she didn't want to be his friend . TY went and fought the soju bottle , and I think the bottle won . JY now knows about it , and calls SJ .

SM always seems to be around when someone from the Yoon family is calling . Does anyone do a better shocked look than that guy ???

MiJoo took SM's dad out to lunch to offer him more $$ not to take in boarders - I am really not liking dad anymore . He is turning into a big weasel and a thorn in MJ's side . I would feel sorry for her , but it is her karmic payback for the way she treats her own family .

I am going on to 34

I may not know much , but it seems to me there is nothing better to encourage a relationship than to have
everyone against it . I can't believe that JY would meet SunJoo and ask her not to meet TaeYoung , although
I don't think she has bad motives . She doesn't want TY hurt , of course, and talk about a mixed marriage

I think SM may have apoplexy because he overheard the phone call between JY and SJ , and he is falling all over himself trying to get information . Neither woman will talk to him , and I don't blame him . That guy has got a LOT of nerve . How dare he have the presumption to call JY ? What makes him think that she even owes him the politeness of a meeting ??

DO you think that YJ is the type of guy to knock anyone else's lights out ?????

I finally got to ep 33 & 34. I read you post Addie (I also had to go back and re-watch the ending of #32 to get myself set for Ja Young's talk with Young Joon). I agree with all you said.

#33 & #34 were both good episodes and I can't wait until tomorrow to get the next two!!

Well, I remember Adwatcher saying he thought Ja Young had not quite decided if she was going to keep this baby. I disagreed at the time as she had already made her decision NOT to have the abortion. But you were right Adwatcher... Ja Young is still not sure because now she IS trying to abort the baby 'naturally and legally'.

JY tells YJ she is not qualified, she isn't good enough and yes, our wonderful YJ says he will be the judge of that. Love this guy! She tells him she isn't ready for a relationship 'NOW' which actually gave YJ hope because he told her he will wait until 'NOW' passes.

I think SM's dad is getting to be a real creep. Like father like son... Dad is greedy and opinionated and just obnoxious to me. How did Ja Young see past all that and love this old man so much? Because SHE is a gem..

Tae Young meets Sun Joo and tells her if it can't be only friendship then they're over.

JY contacts Sun Joo and yep, SM is right there to hear it. He starts getting panicky again. This guy will never be happy because Ja Young is haunting him... lol

SM acts so disgusting about everything related to JY. He starts harping on Min Joo to do something about SJ and Tae Young.... send SJ abroad to study. Then he tells SJ to call him as soon as she meets JY. Which of course, she doesn't.

JY tells SJ not to meet TY because her family will never accept him. She said Sun Joo's family will put more value on Tae Young's background than they will his character.. But we all know the real reason.

SM tries to get info out of SJ but she tells him to mind his own business and doesn't tell him about what JY wanted to meet her about.

SM makes many attempts to contact JY and she doesn't answer. So he shows up at her work and sees her outside. She is waiting for Young Joon who is bringing her a tonic (he's just the BEST).

SM demands to talk to JY and walks away for her to follow. WHY DOES SHE FOLLOW??? Young Joon is sitting in his car watching the scene of SM walking away and JY following..

I wanted to cheat and watch ahead but ...I'm too busy to cheat today... And tomorrow I get two more episodes anyway.

I was tempted to cheat too , but the scedule is really working ( at least for us ) as it is . I look forward to my visits to Yellow Handkerchief land . There is always a lot of action there .

I'll say one thing about Young Joon . I think that he has quite made up his mind about Ja Young . He is a patient and kind man , and he can and will wait .......

I wonder about this too. Is it just to further the drama, or is there a cultural reason behind this. I would think JY could just call Minjoo and ask her to have her husband stop harassing her. Is it just too simple or is there a cultural taboo I don't know about?

BTW, ever since someone mentioned something about "bigfoot" (Minjoo) I've been trying to gauge the size of her foot; even in "City Hall". Darn it, now I think I'm developing a foot fetish. I'm liking Minjoo's feet,... and legs. and ....
