Thank you very much for the plug ccwf. I hope more people will sign up as a result! The reason why I started the Hawaii K-Drama Fans Board was because the official KBFD board has gone without a regular moderator for some time and from a certain date people are still not able to activate their accounts after sigining up. They don't get the confirmation e-mail and no one over at the station or whomever is running the server wants to address the problem. Plus the board's organization (one board with threads jockeying for position) leaves much to be desired. So I just decided one day to slap a board together on ProBoards and see what happened. It's been a little over a month since it started and I think it's been doing pretty good so far. Some of the regulars on the KBFD board decided to stay where they are and that's cool. The main thing is to provide an alternative for newer Hawaii fans that haven't been able to post. For those on here who haven't seen the board yet, I invite you to click on the link above and come and take a look!

The funny thing is when I first started the board I got all paranoid because a whole bunch of people initially joined but there was hardly any posts. I thought to myself was I wrong? Did they actually have activated accounts post but just chose not to post?  Fortunately a few people posted thanking me for starting the board and confirmed that they signed up on the KBFD board but never got the e-mail to activate their account. Whew!
Now ProBoards is upgrading the server the board is on...I hope it goes smoothly.
