Dae Jang Guem (Jewel in the Palace)

Thinking about getting this one, but trying to figure out why the Korean version is 70 episode and the official US version is 54 episodes? Can someone shed some light for me - thank you.

Does anyone know if you can buy yellow handkerchief and when they might put my sweetheart, my darling, or my precious family on sale?

K-dramas on DVD with ENG subs *updated 06/17/2005*

Sam Soon available in September on dvd!! I just found this information on Asiandb. Anyone hear of a release coming out? This is the first I've seen. I usually shop at yesasia and haven't seen anything yet. Anyone know otherwise? Comments?

http://www.asiandb.com/store/detail.pfm?num=4268

And they have Rookie:

http://www.asiandb.com/store/detail.pfm?num=4049

And Eighteen/Twenty-nine:

http://www.asiandb.com/store/detail.pfm?num=4125

Of course, these are all preorder, so maybe that's the hook. It's been a very long time since I've ordered from this company. Can't comment on the customer service or how they do business. Hopefully, this is at least a sign of things to come.

I've just ordered the 18-29 dvd set for $123.00 from Asiandb. I'll let you know how it turns out. Spoke to a friend and unless Yesasia gets U.S. licensing, it's unlikely they'll be able to sell it in the states. Same goes for Rookie and Sam Soon. Asiandb is located in Korea and are able to sell internationally. Go figure.....

Oh, and saw a copy of the ost for Yellow Hankerchief at Music Plaza in Koreatown. If you are not in the S. Cal area, you can check their website http://www.music-plaza.com and order it online.

Hope to know how the DVD for 18:29 is like...I don't get why it's not being released on Yesasia...I believe the Global Yesasia site doesn't even have it.

As for Rookie and Sam Soon, my guess is YA is attempting to buy the license or already has the license, therefore, they will not make it available on the North American site...both are available on the Global site, along w/ Tropical Nights in December, Wonderful Life...
