K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

LOL Emceema, I have no idea who Han Jaesuk is. But if Minchul was played by any other hunk, I'd feel the same passion. He should dump Yonsoo.

Now if this were real life, and it was me with KSW or GJW or any other hottie from my list, and he did to me what Yonsoo does, I'd go to the other extreme. I'd hang on to him for dear life!! Regardless...for a while anyway. I'd first get my money's worth. LOL

If it were me and a regular Joe Schmoe, I'd dump him quicker than he could count to five. I'd be long gone...

Emceema, tell the truth, would you put up with a guy doing that to you like what Yonsoo did to Minchul? Would there be exceptions? If so, who??? Fess up...

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Hello Again emoticon

Emceema the first time I saw this was December 2006. I'd never seen anything with LBH in it yet. In the first episodes, I kept thinking, what's wrong with this guy?? Why is he so closed off?? How can this girl justify seeing him, when he gives nothing back?

Little by little, I got to understand him. I got to feel a little sorry for him because he had such a hard time showing his feelings. It was almost painful to watch. But, once he made the date to introduce her to Min Ji and to establish that they're a couple, I was a lot better about him. I saw it as a breakthrough.

What she did was bad LBH or not. I love him now as an actor, but back then he was brand new to me. I thought even then that he was hot, but too weird for my taste. Now I just love weird. emoticon I have you to thank for that. I remember Christmas day 2006, watching episode 12 and loving it. All of my family waiting for me and me watching Beautiful Days, thanks to you. Since then I probably have ten or more dramas and movies with him starring in them. Thanks for the introduction. emoticon

Just one more thing, I love CJW too and have many, many dramas and movies with her too, but Yon Soo deserves to be dumped. She didn't think he was important enough. Plus she didn't know anything about Sun Jae's finding out about his father until hours later. Initially she thought it was a sibling thing, which is worse, because she had no business in the middle of a brother's argument. She was very wrong.

I watched the end of the episode, which almost made me cry. I'll be back to talk about it from home. emoticon Shame on her!!! She's supposed to love him.

Later emoticon

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD Family emoticon

I just remembered something about that night that was bugging me. Once Yon Soo and Sun Jae were on the bus, he was all smiles. He had this satisfied expression on his face. He'd gotten his way. That should have been a clue to Yon Soo that he was fine and just being his whiny, manipulative self. At that point she should've said, "Okay, you seem fine. I have an important appointment. See ya!!!".

When Min Chul got home, he went straight to her room. Min Ji was in there alone, painting. He asked where her teacher was and she said she called to say she'd be late. Min Ji thought she was rebelling because of the store incident.

Min Chul gets in his car and goes to his office. There's a place where Yon Soo sees that Sun Jae is okay and has sobered up a bit, when she tries to leave, but nooo!! Sun Jae has a gift for her, so she stays again. He pulls out this cardboard keyboard and starts to sing to her.

When he sees Yon Soo and Sun Jae, he can't believe his eyes. He looks stunned. They look guilty. She says his name. I think he's trying to contain himself. He asks what they're doing here. He's speaking to Yon Soo when he says, he told her to make herself clear. He says its been less than 12 hours. Does she have no respect for him? NOPE!! He tells her, that she said herself that she wouldn't do anything he'd disapprove of. Then you shouldn't. He raises his voice here and his composure's gone. At this point Sun Jae stands up and ask what's wrong with him. emoticon Min Chul yells at him to stay out of it. Yon Soo is sitting there all teary-eyed and not saying a word. That teary-eyed thing usually works for her, but not now. Sun Jae, her hero, says that its not Yon Soo's fault, that he stopped her from going. Min Chul asks, "You did? Why?". "Why did you do that?". Sun Jae answers that he wanted to be with her. Is that an answer to give a man, (your brother) about his girlfriend?? Min Chul doesn't think so either. He repeats Sun Jae's words, "You wanted to be with her?" Sun Jae says "Yes, I wanted to be with her for even a few hours, if I could. Is that so wrong??" Min Chul dismisses what he said and now focuses on Yon Soo, who now looks miserable and she should. She's looking down, not at him. How dare she?? emoticon He tells her he may have let it pass if it wasn't today. He tells her he wanted to end this game today. "But the player who could end the game didn't show up." Yon Soo looks up at him now. He tells her, "I guess she likes playing this game. I was wrong. I thought she didn't like games. She's quite an expert. She knows exactly how to take the game to the limit. She' playing with both players." Here's where Sun Jae sticks his nose in again and yells for him to stop it. "Can you be so cruel to somebody who loves you? I told you you can never truly love someone. You don't deserve Yon Soo's love." As he's saying this, he's coming closer and closer to Min Chul, sort of in his face. Just for the record, in case anybody cares, Sun Jae put his hand on Min Chul first. Min Chul pushed him knocking him down. For the first time Yon Soo spoke and got out of her seat and that was to go to Sun Jae and call out his name. Sun Jae gets up and tackles Min Chul. Min Chul winds up on top with his fist ready to punch him. This also gets a reaction from Yon Soo, she calls out Min Chul's name. He's enraged, but stops short of punching that little weasel in the face. Here's the best part. Min Chul is on his feet and Sun Jae isn't. Yon Soo goes and kneels next to him and asks if he's alright. She's trying to help him up. Min Chul turns to him and tells him not to even begin to think that he knows him. He tells Yon Soo to get up. She doesn't move, so he tells her again, this time louder. She tells him she doesn't want to. He looks at her in disbelief. She tells him if he's done talking, to go. She's staring angrily at him and he's looking at her like something clicked in his head. He leaves. emoticon

My opinion?? She's playing with both guys. I don't care what her motives are, but she's playing with both guys!! She loves Min Chul?? Really?? Then how many ways does he have to tell her that Sun Jae's in love with her and not to lead him on, unless she wants to be with him?? How many?? I'll give you that she wants to be with Min Chul, but not enough to let go of Sun Jae. Its flattering to her to have both guys chasing her. Min Chul's right, even if she's not interested, she likes it. She could have ended this a long time ago, if she really wanted to. For her to look angrily at Min Chul was really too much. Didn't he have a right to be angry??

There was no emergency!! Sun Jae was fine in five minutes. She should've been with Min Chul. She should have thought of how disappointed and embarrassed he'd be. Especially with Min Ji waiting to greet her as a possible sister-in-law. What was so important to just blow him off. It took Sun Jae hours to tell her his problem. The only thing he asked her was to spend just this day with him. Was that more important to her than Min Chul? He still hadn't said anything pertinent. Except he wanted to spend this one day with her. That was enough for her to forsake important plans?? She should have realized then that it was out of line for him to even ask that of her? This is his brother's girlfriend. How dare he? And how dare she?? This is why he can't stop behaving with her in an inappropriate manner. Because she allows him to. In this Min Chul is exactly right. Her loyalties are very screwed up.

Now let's talk about Sena. Sena doesn't deserve any favors from Yon Soo, but Yon Soo thinks she does. She runs from pillar to post trying to help Sena. She's practically sold herself into slavery to help Sena. She moved into a strange house with a strange family, all in the name of helping Sena. She had to deal with another spoiled brat, because it would benefit Sena. Seh get Narae to look after Sena. Anything for Sena!! The only thing she won't do for Sena is to give up the guy Sena thinks is HER boyfriend. Sena has told her the same as Min Chul to make herself clear to Sun Jae, because she sees that he's attracted to Yon Soo, but has she?? NO!!!!!!!! She has not. emoticon

Min Chul should dump her!! She's made her bed. She shouldn't be sharing it with Min Chul. She was so disloyal to him.

I have plenty more to say, but I guess I'll give somebody else a chance. emoticon

I'll be back emoticon

Later emoticon

K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD,

Smoochie, that's a good observation that Sunjae was smiling when Yonsoo was on the bus with him. It makes me think now that Sunjae WAS waiting for her outside the house to tell her he was going on a trip. He made his quickie announcement to her and it was a sure bet she'd be concerned and follow him. He was hoping for that.

Yonsoo taking Sunjae to Victory after hours - Why didn't she put him in a cab headed for home so he could sleep it off in his own bed? That's where you'd usually take a person who drank too much.

Why did she bring him to Victory? Because nobody would be there and she wants to nurse him back to sober without Minchul seeing and stopping her? Because she knows they will look guilty walking in the house together, he being drunk?

Yonsoo has no business being in Victory after hours on this night. She has no key. Sunjae has no key. Sunjae has no business to be there either. Is this their little after dark hideaway where they can be alone? This was Yonsoo's doing.

That's about the worse scene Minchul could have come upon. He gets stood up by his woman on the night he was going to openly declare his love for her, to make her his. He had no idea why she was a no show.
He walks into Victory and sees his brother and his woman sitting alone together and they are enjoying each other's company, oblivious to the outside world and Minchul. It really is a distressing sight.

The shocked way Yonsoo and Sunjae look at Minchul say it all. They got caught. They're at a place where they were alone and from anybody's observation, wanted to be alone. Why? Can anybody blame Minchul for his reaction?

The least Yonsoo could have done was to get up immediately and walk over to Minchul and say she was sorry she didn't make it and "let me explain." She offered none of that to the man she "loves." She just stays intact sitting beside his brother as if Minchul was the intruder.
Once Minchul started going off on her, they both looked at him as if he's nuts because the first words out of Sunjae were "what's wrong with you?" Unbelievable!

Imagine Sunjae telling Minchul "I told you you can never truly love someone. You don't deserve Yon Soo's love." Can you imagine??

What was Yonsoo thinking at this point? She lets Sunjae talk like this to her guy? Minchul just got done telling her in his office that he wanted to announce that she's his woman to his sister and that from that point on, he would always protect her in front of others, never letting others mistreat her.

So Yonsoo has to know what Sunjae just yelled to him is not true. Of course Minchul truly loves Yonsoo or he wouldn't have set this evening up. Yonsoo doesn't deserve him. And by the way, where is HER voice?
She's finally HEARING Minchul voice his feelings. How come she's mum with hers? Afraid of him right now? Too bad! She should be. She is a player. Two brothers to boot. Doesn't get any uglier than that.

I've had girlfriends who had sisters close in age. Looking back I have never seen an incident of one sister being thisclose with the other's boyfriend, or spending time alone with the other's boyfriend under the title "just friends." Not one.
And I never knew a guy dating his ex's girlfriend either. Not in my crowd anyway. Sunjae and Yonsoo are way off base here.

Minchul is reacting very normal. I give him credit for controlling himself, he could have punched Sunjae's lights out. Did you see that shaky fist of his? Sunjae reminded me of a little punk, messing with his brother's girl's head. He sees nothing wrong with his actions either.

I think in Sunjae's mind, as long as Minchul didn't make it official, Yonsoo is fair game. And now he told Yonsoo his secret, that he and Minchul are not brothers. Sunjae told her to forget it after he told her. With these words, he's asking her to keep a secret from her man. This is not the way love should be between two people. Yonsoo is so wrong. She nit picks at how Minchul acts, "cold and with shoes on his heart."
What about her? Secrets, sneaking around with his brother, putting his brother first in importance.

Sena has every right to tell Yonsoo to stay away from Sunjae. She had her digs on him first even if he doesn't like her. Just like Minchul had his sights on Yonsoo first. Sena is trying to land this goof. They are all brothers and sisters which make it even more tragic. Where's the respect from Yonsoo and Sunjae?

After their fight, Sunjae is on the floor as Minchul is standing. I can't believe Yonsoo goes to comfort Sunjae. Minchul tells her to get up. She doesn't. She won't. She tells him if he's done he should leave. I can't even imagine that she was ever his girl to begin with.

Minchul just looks at her. He starts to walk away and then stops and looks at her again. He can't believe it, there are no words. Yonsoo doesn't care. No she doesn't. Her feelings on this day is only for Sunjae.

Minchul walks out and Sunjae tells Yonsoo to go after him, that he's okay. Only then, with Sunjae's okaying it, does Yonsoo run after Minchul. Too late, Minchul roars off in his car as she runs into the street after him.
If I were Minchul, I'd never look back.

I can't believe how this scene made me so angry. The look on Yonsoo and Sunjae's faces when Minchul first walked in really got to me. They were like dumbfounded as to why he should be so angry at them. You know, like when you're guilty, twist the truth around into something else and toss it back to the innocent one for blame.

Now when morning comes, Yonsoo can go crying to Narae in the storage room again. And Sunjae can creep around his house with his secrets.

Geez, I worked myself all up here. LOL My poor Minchul, Yonsoo must be out of her mind. Did she forget those beautiful staring eyes?! His kisses? Those strong protective arms? That swagger in work that always brings a smile to her lips? His quiet whispers when he wants to see her?
What the heck is this girl thinking? They just don't compare!!

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD Family emoticon

I feel exactly like you do about that scene. How can they think they did nothing wrong? Sun Jae for his part wanted to spend time with her for just a few hours. What's wrong with that!?!!?? Where do I begin?? How dare he even ask that question? Min Chul didn't even bother to answer him. Sun Jae's fine, though. He got what he wanted!! The little weasel!!

Yon Soo for her part?? What was her motive for standing him up, on such an important night?? Sun Jae?? Why, after a few minutes seeing he was okay, and smiling like the cat who swallowed the canary, didn't she say "Bye Bye" and keep her appointment with Min Chul? What's her excuse?? She has none. Once she left him ready to get on the train, he follows her and stops her from getting in a cab, isn't that a clue? He wants to stop her from seeing Min Chul. He doesn't know what this meeting means, but Yon Soo does. How can she let him stop her?? Her priorities are all screwed up.

The fact that they both thought Min Chul over-reacted tells you how little regard either of them have for him. Sun Jae, for all his acting like they're brothers, is passive/aggressive. Only when it suits him does he behave as though he respects Min Chul. He is so over the line here, I almost can't put it into words. They both act angrily toward him for his reaction to find them at Victory, hidden together, and seeming to be having a good time. They look shocked at his outrage. Why??

I don't want to go into the next episode without details, but seeing Min Chul at the beach staring at the sky, made me almost cry for him. He looked like he couldn't believe his mistake in trusting her with his heart. He'd been so careful up to now, only to make the wrong decision when it counted. He must've had a bad night.

The other two went home, as though nothing happened and Sun Jae tells her to explain to Min Chul and he'll understand!! Does he even know Min Chul?? What can she say? Sun Jae was pouting, AGAIN, so I had to blow you off and hold his hand?? Is that an explanation that he's going to be satisfied with? I somehow doubt it!! Min Chul had just told her about leading Sun Jae on. I don't think that explanation is going to fly!!! I think, after a night of contemplation, Min Chul's had enough of this. Can't say I blame him!! Me? I'd never look at her again!! emoticon I'd leave her with the decision she made.

This scene really made me so mad, because they behaved as though they'd done nothing wrong and that Min Chul was crazy for getting angry. Yon Soo's behavior toward him really got to me. Sun Jae was the one who attacked Min Chul first and she acted like he'd slapped a baby, when Min Chul pushed him. She was only worried about that little worm and Min Chul stood there watching this. It never occurred to her to go to his side, or ask if he was okay. She never said a word through this whole thing, except to call out to Sun Jae.

I know that without them continuing on as a couple, there'd be no drama, but he should've never looked back. I would've been happy with that. If I was writing this, He would NOT have shown up at the cherry blossom thing. Min Chul should've told Sun Jae to go for it. MIn Chul should've sentenced her to a life of Sun Jae chasing her and her regretting every minute of it. It would have given her something to think about. If I was writing this, Min Chul would have never looked back. I know that sounds harsh, but if she was really sorry for doing what she did, standing him up, I'd have been more forgiving. If she'd gone to him with a heartfelt apology and promised never to put anyone before him again, I'd have to relent. But, to tell him that he was wrong and to once again use Sun Jae as an excuse is a deal-breaker for me. To even mention Sun Jae's name at this time. What does this DUMB BUNNY not get?

He'd have been disappointed if she couldn't make it if the excuse was Narae or Sena, but he'd have gotten over it. He'd have understood. But, Sun Jae, they've had many, many confrontations about this guy. He can't get over this easily. Again, it bothers me more that she thinks she did nothing wrong, than the fact that she didn't show up. Had she felt some guilt for her actions, or realized that some things are more important than others, I could've given her a pass. She felt none of this. She tells Min Chul that he was wrong!! He can't believe it!! Neither can I!! emoticon

As you can tell, I watched episode 12 last night. I have much more to say about it, but not now. I still have to get over Min Chul showing up at the cherry blossom thing, and her crying to Narae that he wouldn't let her explain. She thinks if he loved her he'd let her explain. emoticon I think that if she loved HIM, she'd have shown up!! I think if she loved HIM, she'd have put him before anybody, that one night. emoticon

Anyway, now you know what I think. What do you think?? emoticon

Did I go too far?? emoticon

Later emoticon

Imagine leaving this guy waiting?? He must've felt so sad. emoticon

Anyeong Hasaeyo! Good morning BDF emoticon

Jasy, Smoochie: After reading your posts, I couldn't say anything in defense of Yonsoo and Sunjae. No words come up to mind. You have stated the facts and raised the right questions to the jury. That there is no other answer but "GUILTY!, GUILTY! GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, as I took on the role of counsel for the defense, I have to do my obligation to raise "reasonable doubts". This reminds me of the noted trial of one celebrity here in LA. Let's look at "motivation". "If the glove doesn't fit, then you must acquit."

Yonsoo and Sunjae did not plan this tryst. It started when Sunjae looked distressed after discovering who his real father was. Then he was summoned by Minchul and "accused" him of conniving with the Muse President about the Zero fiasco. Yonsoo saw Sunjae that day coming out of Minchul's office, very disturbed. She knew something unpleasant happened between the brothers.

Yonsoo came home while Sunjae was about to leave. He wouldn't tell her what's wrong, why he was standing in front of the gate and why he was carrying a luggage but simply said "going on a trip". Given the nature of Yonsoo, that of "rescuing every lost puppy on the street", she followed him and try to make him feel better by seeing him off at the train station. At that point, she was ready to leave and even called Minchul that she was coming, but would be late. Then, all of a sudden, Sunjae decided not to board the train but run after Yonsoo and asked her if she could spend "just one day, one day with her". Sunjae was very good to Yonsoo in the past. Remember him sharing an umbrella that night she arrived at the Lee's residence? He was the first member of the household who became her friend. While Minchul brought her to the household, his sole purpose is to make her Minji's tutor. He was also unclear to Yonsoo about their relationship. He has not discussed with her, in depth, about the purpose of that meeting except he is supposed to introduce her to someone. Yonsoo didn't grasped the importance of this meeting.

Yonsoo couldn't refuse Sunjae's request and Sunjae didn't know that that night Minchul would be declaring his love for Yonsoo in public. But why did Yonsoo, after that long day, stayed with Sunjae, even brought him to Victory's? Because Sunjae was drunk, totally unable to care for himself. If she had left him, he would have ended sleeping on the street. How can she turn her back on him now?

When Minchul "discovered" them at Victory's, you yourselves stated that they weren't even feeling guilty. Guilty of what? So far, they have not kissed or touch each other in a romantic way. There was no cheating here, people, but simply a compassionate relationship between two persons who are low on self-esteem and need a little caring, like any other human being.

And why didn't Minchul gave them a chance to explain? Because he lacks trust and couldn't see beyond the fact that he hated Sunjae from the time he arrived at his home and his father acknowledged him as his son. He also didn't give Yonsoo a chance to explain. If he is a reasonable man, and he is in love with Yonsoo, he should try to understand her nature and determine if she is capable of double crossing him. He is quick to judge and only think of himself as the aggrieved person.

Ladies and Gentelemen of the jury, I rest my case.

Emceema, I love you, but I'll never, never agree with you on this. I can't say enough how terribly wrong this was, so I'll stop now. I didn't find one solid argument in your case, by the way. And they DID look guilty. Then when they saw his reaction, they decided to ask what was wrong with him. Trying to place the guilt on him. How was he wrong?

I still say, though that Yon Soo should be forced, by Min Chul, to continue on with her role of Mother Theresa. He should dump her and let her spend the rest of her life being Sun Jae's crying towel. The fact that she DID know what Min Chul had planned for that evening makes her guilty as hell in my eyes. Sharing an umbrella doesn't qualify as any big sacrifice to me.

Like I said, I'll never, ever agree with you on this. It just pisses me off that Min Chul gives in and forgives her, without a real apology from her. He should have left her spinning for good. He only got the go-ahead from Sun Jae, because he knew he couldn't have her and he was tired of chasing her, so he told Min Chul that if he loved her he should go get her, or he was going to try to get her for himself. Min Chul should've told him to go for it. We'd have seen how far he'd have gotten with pursuing her.

I find both of them reprehensible and full of it. She IS enjoying the game. How many times could he tell her and in how many ways, that he disapproves of her relationship with a guy who's in love with her?? Still she ignores him all of the time and still does these screwed up things. The other weasel told her he'd back off, because of his brother, but he didn't. They're both dishonest and deceitful and I don't like Yon Soo at all right now. Sun Jae I never liked, he's a conniving worm. emoticon

Eventually, I may like her again, but not today. He should kick her to the curb. She's not worth the aggravation. emoticon

Case closed!!! emoticon

LOL LOL I'm guessing that Sunjae planned this tryst. Knowing that Yonsoo rescues every lost puppy on the street, he knows she also rescues sad sacks and singer wanabees.

I'd love to know just how long Sunjae was standing against the wall. Did he know she was just about to come home from work? Of course he did. That was his intent. The moment Yonsoo appeared, he tells her he's going on a trip but won't tell her where. That's like holding an ice cream cone out to tease a baby. Instead he'll let her wonder and worry. He'd have to be pretty dense to not know she'd probably try to follow him. He could have simply left her a note in her room to let her know he was going and to tell his mom he'll be in touch.

Sunjae was kind enough to share his umbrella that day but it hardly equals his brother's woman returning this kind gesture by spending an evening with him when Sunjae knew Minchul was waiting for her.

Sunjae became her friend in the house after he locked eyes with her. LOL He did! He saw her as a female, not Minji's teacher. At least that's how I saw it.

Minchul's sole purpose was for Yonsoo to be Minji's teacher but I remember us discussing this a while ago. Minchul also said to her that she's a bright girl and she must know why he's bringing her into his house. Remember him saying that? If I were Yonsoo, I would have immediately wondered if he also had another motive. So Yonsoo really was off limits to Sunjae already at this time. I don't think Minchul had to put a ring on her finger at that early stage just to keep his brother away from her. But Minchul sure had to have eyes in back of his head because of these two. Minchul always had to be on his toes.

Remember when Minchul told Yonsoo to be there, he wanted to introduce her to Minji as his woman? And then he went into the thing about he won't from then on let anybody be mean to her?
Well when Yonsoo left his office and was walking down the hallway, she smiled and grinned to herself, she looked really happy. She knew what this evening meant for Minchul and herself. She had to know this was important or if she didn't, then she really, honesty and truly is a dumb bunny like smoochie said.

Sunjae didn't know Minchul was going to declare his love for Yonsoo that night but Sunjae does know Yonsoo and Minchul are seeing each other. He knows Yonsoo loves Minchul, remember after they spent the night together and the next morning Sunjae was behaving like a 10 year old and she had to tell him in no uncertain terms that she loved Minchul?

At Victory, Yonsoo WAS guilty. Of cheating. That's why she was speechless. She had no excuse. Minchul went off on her but she couldn't defend herself. How could she?

Minchul does lack trust and it's caused by Yonsoo and Sunjae, mainly Yonsoo. It is Yonsoo that Minchul is blaming. Not so much Sunjae. How can Yonsoo be just friends with Sunjae when he wants her? She may think she's doing nothing wrong but just look at how every chance Sunjae gets, he's waay to up and personal with her. He wanted to put his hand on her's when they were leaning on the railing at the taxi stand. She leaves herself open to him all the time. His intentions are more serious than hers. Doesn't she get it?

I don't know if Minchul is quick to judge though I don't think so. He sees it from a man's perspective. She's playing with his brother.

I will leave this sorry mess behind me now and take a walk in the park and smell the cherry blossoms. Nothing could go wrong in this beautiful setting, right?

Yonsoo and Sunjae did not plan this tryst. It started when Sunjae looked distressed after discovering who his real father was. Then he was summoned by Minchul and "accused" him of conniving with the Muse President about the Zero fiasco. Yonsoo saw Sunjae that day coming out of Minchul's office, very disturbed. She knew something unpleasant happened between the brothers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When she saw Sun Jae run out of Min Chul's office she started to ask Min Chul what happened and that's when he told her that her being concerned about Sun Jae's affairs is what keeps him from being clear about her feelings. If something happened between the brothers, which brother is her man? That's the brother she should have cared about. So all Sun Jae has to do is look distressed and all bets are off? He always looks distressed. Its his only facial expression. This was NONE of her business.

Sun Jae didn't know what Min Chul had planned, but Yon Soo did. Sun Jae should have had his sorry, whiny butt thrown in a cab and sent home to sleep it off. His mommy would've made him soup in the morning. If she could drag him to Victory, she could've dragged him to a cab. She didn't have to turn her back on him. It didn't bother her to turn her back on Min Chul, though. emoticon

Smoochie did not say that. Here's what Smoochie said:
When he sees Yon Soo and Sun Jae, he can't believe his eyes. He looks stunned. They look guilty. She says his name. I think he's trying to contain himself. He asks what they're doing here. He's speaking to Yon Soo when he says, he told her to make herself clear. He says its been less than 12 hours.

The only point missing here is that Yon Soo left Min Chul and Min Ji waiting with no good excuse. Its not whether anything's going on here with Yon Soo and Sun Jae. Its that she had no regard for Min Chul's embarrassment and the trouble he went through to make this happen.

This thing made me angrier that any scene I can remember in a drama. The reason for that is how wrong they both were and how they tried to make it Min Chul's fault. I could've handled it better if she, (especially Yon Soo) admitted being wrong and apologized. The fact that she kept trying to tell him he was wrong about that night and trying to explain about Sun Jae's problem made me even crazier. She doesn't have a clue about Min Chul, but she does know he doesn't give a rat's butt about Sun Jae.

What makes her think that's a good excuse for not showing up. Had she said, "I know what I did was wrong. I know you must be very upset. I know you must have been mortified and embarrassed with Min Ji waiting to meet her future sister-in-law. I know how badly you must have felt. I'm so sorry." It may have been different. He may have forgiven her. I may have forgiven her.

Okay, I have to let this go, or I can't keep watching this drama. On to episode 12 where I get a little satisfaction, but not enough. emoticon

Just couldn't let it go. emoticon

Later emoticon

I'm not going to put up any pictures of him smiling, until he's happy emoticon
