K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Good Morning BD,
Same with me emceema. I still don't like Sena, I just thought she could have used some compassion from Sunjae at that moment, it would have only taken minutes out of his life.
LOL smoochie! A breakthrough, huh? I think I beat you to the punch. My sister! She has already watched Stairway To Heaven, Save The Last Dance For Me, Sad Love Story and My Lovely Samsoon!!! LOL
I asked her if she wanted to watch one of these dramas and she was game, so on our trip in the spring I brought these four. All this time, they just sat in her room. I was discouraged.
She'll be visiting in a few weeks so she did a marathon. Thumbs up smoochie! Her favorite is Samsoon and she's going to watch it a second time again before she comes here. She likes Daniel Henney!! LOL LOL
Now she wants to watch another drama and is thinking about bringing her portable dvd player to watch one when she's not with us but visiting others during her trip! LOL
I'll have to hunt up a picture for her of "Dr. Henry," I read he was on the cover of Elle Magazine in July. I'll have to check that out.
Is everyone done with this episode? I never got to the next one last night because I had to go out but will tonight. If any of you watched it, you can continue on if you want.
Smoochie, I never even heard of The Hole with CJW. She's such a good actress, my favorite. Watching that dance scene with LBH, I wonder if they dated during or after making this drama.
I loved when he got up with the microphone and sang one word and started to laugh, the camera then focused on Yonsoo and she laughed and looked down. She did that so natural that it looked like she wasn't even acting. That was one of my favorite scenes. When he holds his hand out to her, well, the whole scene seemed real like, not acting at all.
That would be great if your daughter-in-law posts smoochie! But I think you may have to tone it down a bit then, no??? LOL

Good Morning BD Family
So funny about your sister, Jasy. My daughter in law is so used to me being out there, it wouldn't faze her at all to read my posts. She already thinks I'm nuts.
I believe, and nobody can change my mind, that LBH and CJW had a thing going on and may still have. I read that she was the reason for his breakup last year. When you see them together in personal appearances, to promote a movie or drama, you can see how familiar they are and how they touch each other. Its so obvious to me. And Jasy, how about that photo spread? Wasn't that hot? I was convinced by how intmate that was too. I have to find a way to put the link here. We should share.
In an upcoming scene where they're sort of hidden and very close together, the one where Sunchun discovers them. That scene. Either CJW was very cold, or she was turned on, because she had her high beams on. I don't think she was cold, not being that close to LBH. Take a look if you don't believe me.
I want to rewatch 12 tonight, just in case. Over the past couple of days, I've been watching, A Love To Kill, with Bi Rain and Shin Ah (Min Ji). Its so funny, because the lead in this, Shin Ah, is an actress and is escorted by LBH at an award ceremony. He did a cameo here. It was a treat to see him. They've been in a couple of things together and have great chemistry.
I have to go, but I'll be back.

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Anyeong Hasaeyo! Good morning BDF
Smoochie: Thanks for that YouTube url, I was able to watch a lot of clips of LBH and CJW. Talking about turning people into a k-drama addicts, I can tell you that I have converted friends, friends of a friend, all my sister-in-laws, their sisters, mothers, daughters, as far as Texas and Idaho.
Did I ever tell you that I have a sister-in-law who borrowed from me the first 3 episodes of Summer Scents? She finished it that night and early the next morning, she was at my door, ringing the bell, demanding from me the rests of the episodes. She did not let up until she finished the whole drama. Since then, she has watched all the dvds I have and bought some of her own too. She also follows k-dramas on tv every night and she will leave a party or stop doing something when her favorite drama comes on on tv. Recently, she had a dvr installed so she can record her drama while she's away. LOL!
Jasy: I'm sorry I cannot post episode 13 or 14 because I haven't watched lately since I started on All In. I have also recorded the daily drama on dvr and now I'm watching it to bring me up to date on what's going on with "You are my destiny", "Women in the Sun" and "Sea of Ambition". This last one stars our favorite actor Goo Jowun (Suky). I have watched the first episode but I'm not liking him here. His character is not as good looking as our Suky.
Anyway, back to BD. I love that scenario at the karaoke room. It seems like they're still awkward with each other but when he put her arms around his neck and he tried to sing, it was funny. He finally found his voice at the end singing "I love you". That's probably the first time he said those words to her.

K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
That's pretty funny emceema. It looks like you can't watch just one Kdrama without wanting to watch more.
I'm on to episode 14 tonight, I pretty much covered 13 except smoochie has a few more things to say I think. LOL So you don't care for our Suky in his new drama emceema? It probably gets better as it goes on, it looks interesting from what I've read. I'm waiting for it to come out of dvd which it probably will.
I love that link smoochie and they are both hot in those shots. I can't imagine after doing love scenes in BD and appearing together a lot plus these poses that they never got intimate with each other. No way, no how! They have a lot in common and they look so good with each other.
I was going to say the same exact thing. When he sang the end of the song "I love you" I also think it's the first time he said those words to her. He seemed so shy didn't he? I just love this scene.

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Hello BD Family
I don't have a lot left to say on 13, except a for a couple of comments.
Why is Sun Jae still calling Yon Soo at whim? Late at night, waking her up from her sleep, for what? He asks her if Sena is successful, will she be happy? She told him she's already happy. What doesn't he get? First of all Sena's had a few good opportunities, for a girl with minimal to no talent. How much is Yon Soo supposed to do to help her succeed? At this point even she has to realize that either Sena makes it on her own from here or to call it a day. She can do well or not, but that's not up to Yon Soo.
Let me put a disclaimer here, so I'm not misunderstood. I think Sunchun is a disgusting pig. I think he knowingly watched his children suffer for fifteen years, because of one lie and couldn't give a rat's a$$, as long as it benefited him. One thing that irks me though, is how much animosity Sun Jae feels toward Sunchun with little or no information. A few well placed words from Mimi and he went over to the other side? Sunchun was the only father he's known up till now and has never been anything but supportive of him all of his life, at the expense of his own children. What's Sun Jae's beef? There's a disconnect in the writing here. What little information Sun Jae has, isn't nearly enough for this drastic reaction. I could see his being shocked and angry, but to hate Sunchun so much, so soon? Something is wrong with this scenario. Don't get me wrong we have all of the facts, so we know what a despicable creep this guy is, but Sun Jae doesn't. I just think this was way over the top.
I do get why he has so much hostility toward Min Chul. He's lived in the same house with him for fifteen years and was never treated like a brother by him. Just the opposite, Min Chul basically ignored him most of the time and other times treated him like the illegitimate son of his father. Of course we know Sunchun caused this behavior. His two children could never get over the fact that Myungja was his father's mistress while their mother was alive and Sun Jae was proof of that as far as they were concerned.
When Sun Jae and Min Chul talk in the car he tells Min Chul it'll be better for him now. How can it be better? You can't just wash away fifteen years of anger. Min Chul tells him that time is gone and can't be recouped and he's right. They've already lived through those years and are both shocked to know it was all for nothing. I don't know how they'd live as a family again, if Sun Jae didn't do what he did next. Could they just go on and become buddies? The pattern has already been set, but with time they may have had a new and better relationship, though not brothers. Who knows?
That little creepy guy gets caught by Min Chul taking bribes. What a horrible little man he is. Min Chul wants him out. Sunchun says he'll take care of it. Min Chul has his assistant looking into his background. This is the beginning of the end. He's the only witness to the one thing Sunchun doesn't want anyone to know. I wouldn't want that sleazebag knowing anything that could hurt me. Would you?
I'm going on to 14 now. I've probably said all I need to say here. I'm not going to like the upcoming stuff, but I've got family support.
I'm going to watch 14 tonight and a little Suky too. I miss my Suky.
I'll be back in the morning.

K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Good Morning BD,
I agree smoochie, about Sunjae being a bit over the top about Sunchun. I also think it strange for someone who had such a close relationship with his mom for years to want to erase her out of his life completely. We'll see that in 14. I can understand any intense anger towards her I don't get how he can walk out of her life especially after he himself realizes she'll be lonely in that house without him there. Sunjae shows himself to be very self centered.
Minchul and Sunchun meet Mimi at Muse. Sunjae is by her side as a producer now. They're both shocked to see him there and Mimi is loving every second of it.
After their hello's, Sunjae walks past Minchul, stops face to face and gives Minchul the dirtiest look and nudges him a bit as he walks on. I know where the anger is coming from but when Sunjae sat in Minchul's car and they talked, Sunjae didn't show this much hatred like he's showing now. He's a different Sunjae now.
By the way, is Sunjae wearing lipstick??
Everyone about to start the meeting - Minchul rings Sunjae on his cell phone, tells him to come outside.
Minchul - Didn't you say you wanted a life away from both Victory and Father? This is what you meant by a different life?
Sunjae - It doesn't matter to me as long as I have music.
Minchul - You could pursue music at Victory.
Sunjae - I don't want to.
Minchul - I don't understand why you're doing this. I thought at last there's nothing to fight about.
Sunjae - There are things you don't know. From now on, treat me as a new person. I'm not a person who you have known. This is more comportable to you.
He starts to walk away but Minchul grabs him and gets in his face.
Minchul - Listen well. I don't care what happens to Father. But just line up with Yang Mimi against Victory and it will be a different story. The advice is sincere. Stay away from Muse. She's not there to help you.
Sunjae - I'll decide that.
Minchul - Don't trust your decision. You're too naive for this world.
Minchul walks away.
It's interesting how the writers showed this next scene to the audience. Minchul is sitting behind Sunchun and Sunjae is sitting behind Mimi at the meeting. No words are spoken for us, the viewers but that music begins. We see after the meeting Minchul walking alone and Sunjae walking alone, both rather quickly though, both on a new mission.
Sunjae goes to the studio where he sits at the piano and tells Sena who was practicing "let's do it."
Minchul enters his studio quickly taking his jacket off and saying "new song first!" to the others as he puts on head phones and listens to the song. Kum Suk is practicing.
Sunjae is teaching Sena how to blow out of her mouth to feel her throat opening and that's how she should sing.
Minchul is going through music sheets looking for the best, flinging others aside.
Sunjae is trying to write new music, Minchul is making check marks on a chart.
Sunjae is at the piano. Minchul with his arms draped over two co-workers who are holding the music sheets and papers, gives them encouragement.
The competition between these two are now fast and furious.
Yonsoo comes in the house looking through the day's mail. She comes across a card wishing Myungja a happy birthday. Myungja is sitting on the couch looking very, very depressed and alone.
Mimi, Sunjae and Sena meet. Mimi wants her record out before Victory's Kumsuk's saying that the first to debut has an advantage. Mimi wants to win.
Yonsoo calls Sunjae to tell him it's his mom's birthday, to come see her.
Yonsoo and Minchul outside a flower shop having just bought a beautiful bouquet of roses.
Minchul - Is today a special day? You asked me out and want flowers out of the blue.
Yonsoo - Today's Mother's birthday. You've never given her a gift, have you? She's in pain because of Sunjae. So show some affection, it'll help her.
Minchul - For Mother and me, the walls between us are too thick.
Yonsoo - There's always a start. Think of today as that start.
Minchul - It's too late to start over.
Yonsoo puts her hand over his, he looks at her then looks down, he grins, gives her a little look -- Yonsoo won!
Yonsoo knocks on Myungja's bedroom door carrying in the flowers and places them next to her on the bed.
Yonsoo - Director Lee wanted me to bring you this.
Myungja looks shocked. "Minchul did?"
Yonsoo smiling. "For your birthday."
Myungja is so sadly surprised.
Yonsoo - I set the table, so please eat. And I wanted to go out for a while.
Myungja - Sure, as you want.
Yonsoo leaves. Myungja looks at the flowers.
Sunjae tells Minchul he's a new person now. Does this mean he's going to try to get Yonsoo again? When he called Yonsoo up in the middle of the night, I thought he has the nerve to do this after all the trouble he caused keeping her away from Minchul that night? He continues to do this because Yonsoo allows him to. She's always willing to talk to him or come at his beck and call. She is really out of line.
If you compare Minchul and Sunjae, you can really see the maturity difference. Minchul lives his own life, never butting into anybody else's. He has a sister to care for, has a woman now and his career.
Sunjae on the other hand won't go out and date, he's intent to be involved with someone else's woman and does it in a sneaky way and has always bad mouthed Minchul to her. He's such a creep.
Minchul showed his maturity when he had Sunjae in his car outside of Victory and tried to make amends with him telling him the door was always open to him at Victory. Not that Sunjae had to take up that offer, but Minchul held out his hand to Sunjae, lets try to let bygones be bygones but Sunjae is too bitter.
Minchul is not at fault for not liking Sunjae all those years, he acted out what he knew to be the truth about his father and Sunjae. His behavior was a kid's behavior.
I wonder what Sunjae thinks now about Sunchun always favoring him over Minji and Minchul through the years? Does that count for Minchul's anger in Sunjae's eyes? Nah, Sunjae only thinks of his own misery.
By the time they grew into adulthood, Minchul's mood was set in cement. Minchul and Minji are just as much a victim as Sunjae is. Why doesn't Sunjae see this? Sunjae won't forget though and wants to even the score against Minchul and Sunchun. And it looks like Myungja too.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Minchul is the adult here and Sunjae is still the child.

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Hello BD Family
These new scenes are so disturbing. Sun Jae is acting as though he and Min Chul are strangers and has decided to cut ties with his mother. I understand his anger, especially directed at his mother, but to never see her again? He's really an unfeeling person, isn't he? I can almost see now why he never considered Min Chul, when he was sneaking around trying to get to Yon Soo. He obviously never cared what anyone thought, as long as he could get his way. Not a nice guy.
The fact that he ignored his father and actually acted hostile toward him still gets to me. Such a turnaround from the favored son. So far he doesn't know anything, except what Mimi told him. He acted very disrespectfully to Sunchun. The way I see it, and all Sun Jae knows is that he was born after his father's death and Sunchun stepped in and took him as his own. An honorable act, if you don't know why, and Sun Jae doesn't know why. He raised him even better than his own, loves his mother, takes pride in him and invests in his future. Educates him, gives him an allowance, feeds him and provides him with a roof over his head. What did Sunchun do wrong, as far as Sun Jae knows? Acted like a loving father?
All he has to go on is that his real father and Sunchun were business rivals and that his mother was Sunchun's first love. They were in competition in the time before his father's death. Business is business, so I see nothing wrong with that. Even if what Mimi told him is true, he doesn't know that its true. I just feel that he should have felt more loyalty to Sunchun than he did, having only a modicum of information. The fact that WE know the truth about Sunchun is one thing, but at this point Sun Jae doesn't know the same truth.
Mimi is absolutely using him and Min Chul sees it. Sun Jae sees it too, but denies it to Min Chul and to himself. I get her wanting to get retribution, but she's also hurting him in the interim. And Min Chul's right, he's too naive for this world.
I love the scene where Min Chul gives in to Yon Soo on the flowers for Myungja. He did it to make Yon Soo happy and had to smile, because without saying a word she got her way. All she did was squeeze his hand and he folded. I guess he's not used to other people getting their way with him, but he liked it when it was Yon Soo.
I had to laugh when Narae applauded her for "Taming a wild buck". That was so funny. They're starting to be cute together.

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)
Hello BD Family
Its a really crappy day here on the east coast weatherwise. We haven't had a lot of rain lately, so I guess we need it. Whatever! Its good Kdrama-watching weather.
It was good to see some light moments with Min Chul, Yon Soo and Min Ji in this episode. Min Ji seems to be so much better these days. Min Chul is very happy for her turn around. I know he credits Yon Soo for her part in it. Min Ji actually smiles a lot these days and I like seeing that.
The day they spent together was a nice change for me. I liked seeing them all relaxed and not thinking of anything serious. Yon Soo knows how to back off for Min Ji's sake, but if she'd shown up as he planned, she wouldn't have to do that. She'd be aknowleged as his woman. Its good to see that they're actually becoming a couple now, without reservation. Its a good thing, Sun Jae being gone. I think it helped them in their relationship. No spies or stalkers around.
The scene at the karaoke place was very special. Min Chul didn't look as assured as he usually does. Downright shy in fact. When they danced, well.......... When he sang......... I think that's the first time he's said those words to anyone. I was crazy about that scene.
LBH is a singer and if that was his voice, I want some music of his. How will I get it? Anybody??
I could go on, but won't right now. I'll be back later with more.
