Well, Christmas is over and we're looking forward to a new year. I'm hoping its an awesome year for everyone here, healthy, safe and prosperous.
I want to talk about a lot of things, but I'm not totally prepared. I'm going to do it anyway. About Min Chul and the hospital; I wondered why he didn't ask about the truth of Yon Soo's condition. I realize now that, had he been witness to the blood transfusion, he'd have asked. All he knew was when he left her she was out of it and when he returned she'd gone home. He had to think she just fainted from nerves and exhaustion, because of their break up. That's what Narae alluded to, so how could he think anything else? When he spoke to Narae on the phone she didn't offer any other reason and hung up before he could get any further information.
I think its funny, (not ha-ha), how he used to be addressed properly and with respect by Narae and now she's sort of speaking to him accusingly when it comes to Yon Soo. She's sort of lost her awe for him as a boss. There was a time when that wouldn't have happened.
Sena is having career problems, since the bar owner blabbed to the press. She decides to make him pay by going to his place and getting drunk and disorderly. She spent a night there singing? off-key and causing a ruckus. He has no other recourse, but to call Yon Soo. She and Narae rush there and drag her home. Sena is not grateful, but we're talking about Sena.
The next scene really, really irks me, but I can't do it verbatim, because I can't watch the disc right now. The gist of it is, when Narae and Yon Soo return home with a drunken Sena, Sun Jae the obsessed is there waiting. He stops Yon Soo from following them inside. He actually grabs her wrist and sort of drags her away. He tells her Sena's not important right now, her health is more important. He's made an appointment for her and he'll go with her. She tells him she'll take care of it and starts to leave, but he stops her. He proceeds to tell her that she owes him.  That she's caused him tremendous pain, by making him fall for her and turning him down and then falling for his brother, of all people. She owes him, he says. She owes him a big debt. The way for her to repay him is to get treatment and to let him help her to get better. What he really means is to help her get better AND to keep Min Chul away from her. This is the way for her to pay the big debt she owes him. He wants to attach himself to her side.
This would be very honorable, if it were true. He talks about her leaving him for his brother, of all people. Was she ever with Sun Jae?? Did she leave him for Min Chul?? Wasn't every meeting and time together contrived and manipulated by him? He never went anywhere with her, or spent any time with her that wasn't forced on her by guilt or pity. He was very good at that even knowing she and Min Chul were in love. He chose to ignore that little fact and pursued her anyway. So, how does she owe him anything?
Yon Soo tells him she can't allow him to burden himself with her. It wouldn't be fair to him and Sena. He makes a deal with her to be with Sena, if that's what it'll take. Imagine? Poor Sena!! Its probably for the best she didn't witness this. I don't know if she'd take him any way she could get him. What do you think?? I'm not sure, but I really don't think she'd be grateful to be a condition of his getting Yon Soo to go for treatment. Maybe I'm wrong. 
There's a lot more to this episode. I'm going to watch it again, for the umpteenth time and come back with more.

Your right smoochie. Sunjae's little talk with Yonsoo could have been honorable if he was speaking the truth. But he isn't of course and I'll get back to that later.
Narae comes home a little tipsy and she sits besides Yonsoo. She says she just met up with some old school friends but we know she drank because of Yonsoo's health problems. Narae lies down on Yonsoo's legs and remembers aloud the old days when she first met Yonsoo at a pizza parlor. She tells Yonsoo that she was a snotty girl because she acted so precious because she was a college student and Narae thought she was not a good person. Narae changed her mind when she got sick with the flu and Yonsoo brought her medicine, she knew then Yonsoo was an angel. Narae asks her if she used the medicine to lure her and she begins to cry. Narae says if she didn't take the medicine she wouldn't have gotten close to her and wouldn't have to protect her and she wouldn't feel the pain now in her heart being torn apart. Narae is crying through her words.
Yonsoo asks what's wrong. She doesn't know at this moment that Narae knows about her illness but then Narae asks why she didn't tell her. She asks Yonsoo if she zips up about it, will the illness go away? Narae asks if she'll find a cure while sitting all depressed on her own?
I think these are really good words coming from Narae. And true. She's crying so hard that Yonsoo grabs her in a hug telling her not to cry, that she's alright. Narae is just beside herself with grief for Yonsoo.
Narae wants to know why Yonsoo can't live like others and why her suffering won't end. She wants to know what she has done to deserve all this pain. Narae cries harder and she grabs Yonsoo in a desperate hug. Yonsoo tells her that she's okay and to please stop crying. Narae, looking closely at Yonsoo tells her that she can't go leaving her behind and not to be sick. It's such a sad scene.
Yonsoo now is back at her art class and her students are busy drawing. Yonsoo sits and leans her head against the wall for a second. She's looking pale. She gives Sena a call and leaves a message asking where she went last night and asks her to call her. Just at that moment Minji taps her on the shoulder. She came because she missed Yonsoo and she happily tells Yonsoo she's going to take classes here. She says Minchul insists she take classes and so Minji thinks it's best with Yonsoo. Yonsoo on the other hand doesn't look too happy about her decision.
Minji senses Yonsoo's reaction and tells her not to worry, Minchul will never know and if he should, it doesn't matter, if she wants to learn from Yonsoo he can't stop her. Yonsoo gently touches Minji's face but then so unlike Yonsoo, she tells her not to take classes here and that she doesn't want to see Minji anymore. The look on Minji's face! She has a moment of stunned disbelief just staring at Yonsoo but that doesn't last but a second or two. Yonsoo tells her she wants to cut all ties relating to Minchul. If she takes classes here, Yonsoo will hear about him and will run into him and she doesn't want that anymore.
Minji asks if she's sincere and "you don't want to see me, huh?" Yonsoo tries to take her hand but Minji pulls it away. She tells Yonsoo she's got her. She won't ever come to see her. With tears falling, Minji walks away and down the stairs. Minji doesn't mince words huh? She takes Yonsoo's words for face value and they hit Minji right in the gut. She walks out of Yonsoo's life. Just like that. No asking, no begging, no nothing. And I understand Minji perfectly.
Sunjae is on the phone and Yonsoo's doctor is telling him that she needs to start treatment, that she shouldn't delay it and he should bring her in. When he hangs up, Yonsoo calls. Sunjae begins by telling her something about going for treatment but that's not why Yonsoo called. I know she needs treatment pronto, but I also know that Yonsoo told him she can't forget she's sick because of him. Here is another example. That doctor should be calling Yonsoo personally anyway since she hasn't come in. Doesn't the doctor realize she's an adult?
Yonsoo tells Sunjae she calling to ask if Sena called because she didn't come home last night. Sunjae tells her it's no time to be worrying about Sena. It isn't, but she does, so Sunjae has to include Sena in Yonsoo's get well package. You know, Yonsoo needs to tie up loose ends. I think we're all like that in a sense when something big is about to happen. That's just the way we are. Sunjae on the other hand can't see to the right or to the left of Yonsoo. Nobody or nothing else matters. It'd be fine if she wanted his concern or was his woman, but she doesn't and she isn't. She hangs up.
Yonsoo gets her answer from the cafe owner almost immediately after she called Sunjae. He calls her and tells her to come and get Sena. We covered this scene already where Sena does her sit in and I don't want to go there again. Narae and Yonsoo bring her home and Sunjae is waiting. He grabs her and pulls her away from Sena and Narae.
Now here are Sunjae's words to Yonsoo. I was floored when I heard him speak.
Sunjae - You caused me tremendous pain. Making me fall for you, then you just turn me down, falling for my brother of all people. (are me and Sunjae watching the same show?)
You owe me. (his love comes with conditions) As for you, there are many debts to me. Isn't it time you paid me back some?
Sunjae asks to let him help her get better than she won't owe him anything. He even tells her she can love someone else, (imagine that?) he just wants her to stay alive for him. He doesn't want her to die on him and if she's really sorry for him , she must do so.
Sunjae then works out a devil's deal with Yonsoo. He'll be good to Sena for HER. He'll give Sena everything she wants. He'll do anything to keep her alive. He'll even love Sena if Yonsoo wants him to. Lucky lucky Sena!
Like you said smoochie, this would be honorable if his words were true. But they aren't. The only truth of Sunjae's whole conversation to Yonsoo is when he told her he'd do anything to keep her alive. The whole rest of his conversation starting from "making me fall for you..." down to his last words are all a figment of his imagination and deception. I know he's trying to get her to go to the hospital but this guy has really spinned his very own love story. He lost me when he said she made him fall for her.
Sunjae has this fantasy that Yonsoo was his girl until she fell for Minchul. LOL So strange. I seriously don't understand this and why the writers have Sunjae thinking this. It makes him look stupid. It was Minchul the "chief" that she fell for. She mistook him for Sunjae from her early orphan days when he visited ONCE. So she stared at Minchul. And Minchul noticed and took matters into his own hands. Oh, I really loved those days. I'll have to watch that all over again.
Slowly and steadily Yonsoo fell for MINCHUL, a real life man, the body in front of her. And Minchul fell in love with her. These were the early days. Sunjae on the other hand, fell in love with Yonsoo's childhood drawing and a 10 year old girl. (age?) Minchul found her FIRST! Sorry Sunjae. And Minchul fell in love with the adult Yonsoo. Sunjae fell in love with the child Yonsoo. I could go on and on all over again but I'll spare you.
Mimi is telling Sunjae she's off to the good old USA. Her work is done. She asks if he'll take over Muse for her. He can be just like his bio father. Sunjae is not interested and doesn't want to be reminded of the past. Then out of the other side of his mouth he tells her if she wants him to do this he will but there's one condition. (Sunjae always has conditions) He needs money, the more the better. She'll gladly help him, she keeps her promises but she's curious as for what he wants it for. Sunjae doesn't tell her. I guess it's for Yonsoo's hospital bills? Anybody?
As for your question smoochie, about Sena getting Sunjae anyway she can and being the ace for Yonsoo getting treatment...I think Sena would be furious and insulted. I would too. Imagine him being with Sena but it's all fake. Sena might love him but if I know her personality type and I do, she's be pissed off big time. She'd slap him in the face and walk off and she'd hate Yonsoo all over again.
Everybody, have a Happy, Healthy New Year! I know 2009 will be bringing us more new dramas and I can hardly wait. Have a good one...
PS...Smoochie, what happened? Haven't heard from you. What do you think of our hottie now? Like his acting?? LOL

Yes Jasy, lucky, lucky Sena!!  She'd be furious if she new the deal he made with Yon Soo. "So, you'll be nice to me to save Yon Soo's life??" I'd be really turned off by his doing that to me? Who wouldn't? I can't see her going for it. Like you said, knowing her personality and mindset, she'd hate Yon Soo even more.
And yes, Sun Jae is delusional, but he gets away with it, doesn't he? Yon Soo didn't even try to correct him. She needed to say, "when did I lead you on?" But, she didn't say that. Maybe she's remembering all of the times Min Chul told her to be clear with him. He saw it exactly as it was happening and Yon Soo kept asking him, "what do you mean?" Well, this is what he meant. She played into his obsession with her, well meaning or not. She needed to put the breaks on, early on. He always resented Min Chul, as though he stole HIS girl. Quite the opposite. If he could have, he'd have taken Yon Soo away from Min Chul. I said, If he could have. Fat chance. Now, even as she faces this horrible illness, all she wants is to be with Min Chul, while this guy tries everything to gain importance in her life. He's even willing to be nice to Sena!! Imagine??!!
The good news about that, is that if he has to make an effort to be "nice" to Sena, he can't be openly nice to Yon Soo. Maybe she'll get some breathing room now. He won't be able to show any emotion for her with Sena watching and Sena's always watching. I'd be suspicious if I were Sena. How did he do a u-turn all of a sudden? I'd want to know. Wouldn't you? Let's face it, Sena's not naive. She's going to enjoy the attention, but she has no idea why its coming her way. If he plays his cards right, she'll never find out.
I have to go. But, I will be back. There are some really great scenes coming up!!!

Good Morning,
Yonsoo is waiting outside a building for Narae who arrives happily and carrying a bouquet of flowers. Meanwhile, there's a party going on inside and Minchul is the guest of honor. This building is where Minchul has his new offices I guess and this is a party for his opening. I don't think it's the Victory site but I could be wrong. Inside one of the offices is Minchul front and center along with his two aides who helped him start all over again. Congratulations is in order for Minchul and the party is in full swing. Others are there too and the lady (I can't for the life of me remember what we called her) who was boss over Yonsoo and Narae and all the other females in the store walks up to Minchul with a gift. She's overjoyed with seeing him again and Minchul is sincere in being glad to see her again. She tells Minchul that she called Ki-chan asking about him and he told her about the opening. She tells Minchul she not only wanted to say hi but she wants to invest in his company. She saved up a lot of money for her wedding but to show her loyalty she wants to invest it in his company with the condition he lets her work here. Minchul is little surprised at the invest part but he's all smiles and appreciative towards her. He can't accept money she saved for her wedding but she's welcome to work with them. She's thrilled and hands him a gift and Minchul thanks her.
Just then Narae and Yonsoo walk in. It's clear that Yonsoo doesn't know what's going on. Narae says a quick hello to one of Minchul's partners and in that instant Yonsoo and Minchul see each other. Yonsoo immediately exits the room and hurries down the hallway quite upset. She begins running to the elevator and Minchul is running after her.
Just as she's about to enter the elevator Minchul grabs her arm and they look at each other. Yonsoo apologizes to him saying Narae didn't tell her that he'd be there. She'll go now. Minchul grabs her hand again holding her back.
Minchul - Are you feeling alright?
Yonsoo - Yes (not looking at him)
Minchul - I was worried about you. (he's looking so intently at her) You pretended to be strong before me but you looked as vulnerable as ever. I felt worse for you then when you cried trying to hang on to me. Don't try so hard to be strong, that's why you're sick.
Boy did he hit a raw nerve with Yonsoo with those words. She looks at him:
Yonsoo - You're wrong. I wasn't trying to be strong. I've been through enough and tried enough that now I've finally given up on you.
(Minchul looks at her so sadly)
Yonsoo - I'll go now.
(Minchul lowers his eyes and head and lets go of her hand)
Minchul - Bye.
Yonsoo - Goodbye.
Their music begins. Yonsoo turns her back to him and just stands there. And he just stands there looking at her. Finally she gets on the elevator, looks at him (he staring at her now) and pushes the button to close the door.
Yonsoo is behind the closed elevator door now but doesn't push the down button. She just stands there crying her heart out. Minchul stands before the closed door staring at it. When he decides to leave he glances up at the floor numbers and sees the elevator hasn't descended. Minchul pushes the button and the door opens and there he sees Yonsoo still standing there but crying. They look at each other and the music is getting louder. How I love that music! The camera stays on him close up and Minchul tilts his head ever so slightly with such a sad look on his face for his Yonsoo. He steps inside, grabs her and takes her in his arms holding her close to him. He squeezes her shoulder with his eyes closed. He's now visibly overwhelmed with her in a good sense and holds her in a tight embrace. Yonsoo is crying and Minchul is hurting. Just looking at his facial expressions you can see it. Yonsoo slowly touches his back then pushes him away from her. And she runs again, down the six flight of stairs leaving Minchul at the elevator. He lowers his head...
Minchul is still standing at the elevator when Narae runs up to him asking where's Yonsoo. He tells her she left and Narae is mad and ask "you let her go?" She gives him a dirty look and runs off. Minchul swallows hard and slowly walks back towards his party. Narae has to realize that Minchul doesn't know Yonsoo is physically sick. I do think both Yonsoo and Minchul are emotionally exhausted. He's knows something is wrong with Yonsoo by her behavior but he can't pin it down. Much to Narae's credit, she used this party in an attempt to get them back together but Yonsoo wasn't game anymore.
Out on the street Narae catches up to Yonsoo. Yonsoo is angry at her, very angry.
Yonsoo - What are you trying to do? Why did you bring me here?
Narae - Don't you know why? I wanted you to meet Mr. Lee!
Yonsoo - I said I won't see him again!
Narae - Why not? When you miss him so much!
Yonsoo - We broke up. Should I hang on, ask him to nurse me now that I'm sick?
Narae - Yes, hang on to him! You love him. If you love someone, you shouldn't have secrets. And you should stay by that person when the going gets tough! Why can't you tell him?
Yonsoo - I want to tell him. I want to tell him everything, begging him to save me. But that's not right. I can't cause heartache when I love him. It's not right when I know how hard it's going to be.
Narae - You're not going to hurt if you know this later? He'll go crazy if he finds out later. You're not doing him any favors here! Why don't you know?
Yonsoo - I'm leaving.
Narae - Yonsoo! (and Yonsoo runs off)
Again back inside, Narae gets off the elevator. She's drying her tears when she sees Minchul still in the hallway, hands in pockets leaning against the wall. He hasn't gone back to his party. Narae rushes up to him and speaks...
Finally we're getting down to the nitty gritty and Minchul's world is about to take another nose dive.
These episodes are so sad. Minchul and Yonsoo belong together but it's so hard getting to that point. And more heartache is just around the corner. I'll have more to say and I'll be back.

Jasy, we had the same idea. I watched the same scene and made some notes, so bear with me.
First, let me say Narae is a good, well-meaning friend. She has no ulterior motives. She gains nothing in doing what she did. I lover her for it. She has only Yon Soo's best interest at heart.
When they reach Min Chul's new office his and Yon Soo's eyes meet. She's horrified at being set up this way. Without a word, she turns and leaves. Min Chul follows her out. She's running toward the elevator and he's still following her. Just as the elevator arrives he catches up and stops her. She says she's sorry, Narae didn't tell her he'd be there. She wants to leave, but he still has hold of her wrist. He wants to know if she's feeling alright. She answers, yes. He tells her he was worried about her. She's still not looking at him and he still hasn't taken his eyes off of her face. He tells her she pretended to be strong before him, but she looked as vulnerable as ever. He felt it was worse than her crying and trying to hang onto him. He tells her not to try so hard to be strong, that's why she's sick. She finally faces him with a look of determination. She says, he's wrong. She wasn't trying to be strong. She says, she's been through enough and tried enough and now she's finally given up on him. Funny, but for a second, he looked like, "How can you give up on me?" He looked, for an instant, disappointed and disbelieving. She says she'll go now. Through all of this he's still holding her wrist and looking into her face. He finally looks down and looks sort of defeated. He says goodbye, she says goodbye. She turns away from him to wait for the elevator. He's watching her with a very sad look on his face. He stands there and watches the doors close. Yon Soo is on the elevator crying. He's still standing where she left him, watching the closed doors. All of a sudden he looks up and realizes the elevator hasn't moved. He pushes the button, the doors open and he finds her with tears rolling down her face. Without hesitation he moves in and hugs her close to him. He won't let her go. For a split second she's tempted to hug him back, you see her hand move, but she catches herself. She pushes past him and heads for the stairs. He watches her go. He's sure something's wrong.
Narae comes out looking for her and gets angry with him for letting her go. She goes out of the building and catches up to her. Yon Soo isn't happy right now. Narae doesn't get why she's keeping secrets from him, if she loves him. Yon Soo asks if she's supposed to hang onto him? They broke up. Narae tells her yes, hang onto him. She loves him. There shouldn't be any secrets. She wants to know why she can't tell him. Yon Soo says she wants to tell him everything and beg him to save her, but she can't cause him heartache, because she loves him. She feels its not right, when she knows how hard its going to be. Narae says he'll go crazy when he finds out later and that she's not doing him any favors here. Yon Soo's heard enough and leaves her standing there on the street.
When Narae gets back to the sixth floor she finds Min Chul right where she left him, standing by the elevator. She greets him and without a moment's hesitation he asks her if she has something to tell him. She says no and starts to walk away. Min Chul stops her. He knows she's his only hope to get to the truth. He asks her to tell him what's wrong with Yon Soo. She asks him if he loves her. He wants to know why she asked that, he wants to know what's going on? Narae's in a bad place. She says she doesn't know what's best for Yon Soo. She says she thinks she should be with him. Min Chul is being patient and then he's not anymore. He looks her in the eye, he has his "boss" face on. He says, "Tell me what it is!" His eyes tell her its time to stop holding back. She spills the beans. Thank you, Narae!!!
Lots of things got to me in this episode. First off, why is Min Chul still pursuing Yon Soo? He's the one who decided to call it off. I get that he loves her, but after her drunken night and her little trip, she was resolute in letting him go. He can't know she's ill, but he knows something's not right. Wouldn't he just chalk it up to their breakup? If he loves her, and he does, why doesn't he just get back together with her and call it a day? I think he's still under the misapprehension that he has nothing to offer her. She doesn't want him to know, because she thinks it'd be a burden on him. Does Yon Soo know he loves her? We know Min Chul knows she loves him.
There are some really great scenes coming up in this episode. I'm looking forward to it. I love that as I'm watching this, I'm not seeing LBH, but I am seeing Min Chul. He's that good!!
Thanks for the post Jasy. I'm going to read it now and I'm sure, I've just repeated everything you said, but not as well.  I just couldn't let all of my notes go to waste.
I'll post a picture in a new one. I don't want to have to type this all over again and sometimes, I lose the whole post.
