K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD,

Yonsoo drops in to see Narae and Sena and is surprised with the big meal they prepared. It was all Sena's idea and I think it was a very nice thing to do. Yonsoo has no parents to do this for her so Sena decides to plan the big meal and cook it too, with Narae's help. It was very touching to me and though Sena's not too sure about her cooking, she seems a little proud at her attempt nevertheless.

Minchul has dropped Yonsoo off and he went on to work. Unfortunately, neither Yonsoo or Minchul were called about this prepared wedding welcoming meal. Though Yonsoo has just eaten, she eats again, trying a little this and a little that. And it's all pretty good!

Afterwards Yonsoo and Sena are out on the roof with a little sister talk, from the heart. Sena says she's always having to see Yonsoo off, first at the home and now here. She continues on acknowledging that things have changed since being at the home. Back then Sena felt sorry for Yonsoo having to leave for a place unknown and also for herself for having to be alone. Now it's different. Yonsoo at last will live with the man she loves and Sena won't have to worry about her and Sunjae. Everything has worked out. With those words Yonsoo begins tearing up and Sena begins to cry.

All of a sudden Sena turns to Yonsoo and lashes out at her but it's all from her emotions and her heart. She angrily tells Yonsoo that if she hadn't gotten sick it would have been perfect, she wouldn't have to worry about her then.

Yonsoo is really sorry telling Sena that there's so many heartaches and now this. Sena again yells that if she's really sorry, she'd better get well, then she'll believe in the saying that the good get blessed. Sena tells Yonsoo that she's the best person she's ever seen and if she doesn't get blessed she doesn't know who will. That's a wonderful admission by Sena, very touching.

Yonsoo has tears in her eyes and says that she can't even donate blood. She counts on other's blood donations but she can't give blood, it's bad blood. From now on, she tells Sena, she can give nothing but she has to continue to receive. She says she'll make people around her worry and have to count on them for help. Yonsoo says that she's not a good person, if she were, she shouldn't have married Minchul and should have refused Sunjae's help.

Sena yells at her through her own tears telling her that if she says she is, she is! She goes on to tell her that old sayings are always right, we just watch it going on. Yonsoo wishes for nothing else as long as she can go on living with those she loves...Sena and Yonsoo embrace in a hug.

Minchul is back at work in his office. He's seated and places his framed wedding picture on his desk. He's looking at it intently with a smile on his face when his ex team manager (new title?) enters and stands by Minchul looking over his shoulder to see what he's looking at. She sees their wedding picture. Minchul snaps out of it and turns to the side and is surprised to see Team Manager who is standing quietly next to him.

She asks if his honeymoon was fun. His aide, Kichul who is also working in the office answers for him. He asks her if she can't tell by his face? His face is glowing. Minchul gives a big smile at his words.

Team Manager tells Minchul she feels strange that he married. She thought he'd never marry. Minchul is just silently listening to her. Kichul says that's her wishful thinking. She then whispers to Minchul in his ear if there was a reason for this "rush-rush" wedding? Michul looks at her surprised at such a question. She goes on whispering that Yonsoo looked pale during the ceremony and she asks if he's expecting to be a daddy soon? Minchul laughs at that. She tells him if that's the case to tell her now. She can't stand anymore shocks. LOL Minchul is just quietly smiling and his eyes go directly to their wedding picture again.

Minchul really should have taken another day off from work, don't you think? LOL He's love struck! He'd rather be with Yonsoo. He's reliving all his memories from the last few days and he can't take his eyes off of Yonsoo's picture. It's so nice to see.

I'll be back, there's more to come...

Good Morning BD Family emoticon

I know its totally irresponsible for me to leave Yon Soo and Min Chul at such a crucial time. I am sorry, but life got in the way. I'm back to continue on and I won't stop here. I have to finish posting on this drama. Its one of the very best and it doesn't deserve to be treated so shabbily by me. Thanks for your forbearance and patience. emoticon

Min Chul is back at work. His and Yon Soo's wedding picture on his desk for all to see. Team manager is hovering over his shoulder looking at it. She asks him if he had a nice honeymoon and of course he did. She never thought he'd get married. Min Chul's assistant tells her it was all wishful thinking on her part. She leans down and asks Min Chul if the wedding was rushed for a reason. She thinks Yon Soo looked very pale that day. Is he going to be a daddy? She can't take anymore shocks. Min Chul doesn't answer, he has a sad smile on his face as he looks at the picture.

Narae's helping Yon Soo pack to move into her new home with Min Chul. Narae's sad to see her go. Yon Soo tells her that she's glad she has Sena, because she can leave with a light heart. She knows Narae gets too lonely. She's teasing her when she says, she'd be crying and howling at the moon. Narae tells her to stop showing off because she has a husband. She seriously reminds her that they are family and if one of the Lees give her a hard time she should come running back. Yon Soo agrees, though I don't see a chance in hell she's going to leave Min Chul. Or that he's going to allow anyone to give her a hard time.

Narae warns her not to over work herself and wishes she could live alone with Min Chul. She's worried about Yon Soo living with a new family. This is not a new family to Yon Soo, though new circumstances. Yon Soo puts her fears to rest and tells her that Min Chul will help her and Min Ji is like a sister. She tells Narae that its her wish to live happily with a family. Now that Min Chul's family is her family, she's so happy. Narae knows that with her attitude Min Ji and Sunchun will love her. These two are such great friends its good to see.

Sena is coming in with Sun Jae as Yon Soo is leaving. Sena asks where is Min Chul and Yon Soo tells her he's coming soon. Sena notices that Sun Jae wants to say something privately to Yon Soo, so she pulls Narae away. I guess the threat of Yon Soo is over or Sena's had an emotional growth spurt, because she's comfortable with this. Its very unlike the old Sena to be so understanding.

Sun Jae asks if she had a nice honeymoon. She did. Lots of photos? Yes. He tells her she was a knockout on her wedding day. He felt bad losing her. Losing her?? He asks if she's happy. She is. He tells her, her happiness is Min Chul happiness and she shouldn't forget that. Since when is he concerned with Min Chul's happiness??

He says she's very lucky. That the thing a married woman needs the most is a male buddy. Someone they can hang out with. Someone they can say anything to. She has him. He says she thinks of him as a friend, right? She says she does.

Sun Jae starts his first day at his new company. The office decor is startling to my eyes. Its so slick and all of that red laminate... Who could do any work there?? So garish and ugly to me. Sun Jae starts out by looking over sales reports. He's the boss now.

He and Sena are together by the water and he has a favor to ask. He asks if she'll give him a chance to really live. He says he was happiest when he was trying to make her a hit. He had a goal then. It was fun and rewarding. Now he feels like he's in a dark tunnel. He needs a guiding light. He thinks Sena can be that light for him. Sena says doesn't he know she's finished? She says he'll only suffer. His plan is to put her on top again. He asks her to be his light. He asks if she trusts him. She does. He wants them to give it their best shot. He says its not for her or Yon Soo, but for himself. He wants to start over. She thinks they can do it because they make the best partners. Now Sena's excited too. They're very relaxed together. Is Sena's obsession over? Has she accepted the reality that they'll be together without anything other than work and friendship? It looks that way.

They begin training hard. They're everywhere. At the ocean, in the studio, rehearsals and all with Sun Jae leading her. He tells her its going to be hard, so she has to work twice as hard. They rehearse and rehearse. Sena is working twice as hard, without the tantrums of the past. She realizes what she's lost and she's serious about this comeback.

I'm going to stop here, because I've had the experience in the past of typing a long post and having it disappear. I'm not going to let that happen, if I can help it. I'm going to continue in another post following this one.

Right back emoticon

Re: K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning Again emoticon

Its morning and Min Chul wakes first. He's watching Yon Soo sleep for a moment and is touching her hair. She stirs and he pretends to be asleep. She starts to get up, but he pulls her back down. She tells him she has to get breakfast ready. He asks her what she's supposed to do first thing in the morning? She gives him a little smile. He turns his head away and says, not good enough. He turns back and she gives him a real smile. He tells her she passes. Okay, breakfast or no breakfast, how did she leave him in that bed? He was all warm and snugly. LBH looked very sexy here. I would have.....Never mind!! All I can say is breakfast would've been very late or not at all. emoticon She leans over and kisses him on the cheek, before getting up.

Yon Soo is at the art school and Min Ji is now a student there. Min Ji is helping her stack stools after class and asks Yon Soo if she can cook something delicious today. Some barbecue and spicy fish stew and vegetables. She tells her its Sunchun's birthday today. Yon Soo says she should have told her, she didn't make seaweed soup for breakfast. Min Ji says she was confused because he goes by the lunar calendar. Yon Soo asks if Min Chul knows and Min Ji says she doubts it.

Min Ji probably never cared about her father's birthday before this. It seems they're living as a more cohesive family these days. Of course Min Chul wouldn't know either that it was his birthday, because in the past they lived a very different life with very little communication. Too bad it took Sunchun's downfall for all of this to come about.

Yon Soo and Min Ji are shopping at the marketplace for the birthday goodies. Yon Soo is sweating and looks really sick. Min Ji notices and thinks she's exhausted from the heat. Yon Soo tells Min Ji to take her father out when they get home and she'll cook while they're out. Min Ji asks if she wants to surprise him and Yon Soo says, yes.

They're on their way home and Yon Soo looks visibly ill. She crouches down for a moment and Min Ji asks what's wrong? She's very concerned. She takes the packages from Yon Soo and they continue on their way home.

Yon Soo has set a table, full of beautiful food. She's very weak, but keeps at it. She's at the point of passing out when the family returns home. Min Ji tells her that Min Chul has bought a cake for the occasion. Probably the first time he's bought a cake for his father. I think he appreciates Yon Soo's efforts and wants to do his part to make this family work for her sake.

Min Ji is holding her father's arm and asks him does he know what day this is? She wishes him a happy birthday. Min Chul has gone straight to Yon Soo. I think he noticed her condition. He asks if she's done all of this herself, pointing to the food on the table. He doesn't look happy. He knows she must have exerted herself.

Sunchun asks Min Ji to pour him a drink. She tells him to wait for the food. He says just a little bit. Yon Soo is taking the cake out of the box. Everyone else is sitting at the table. Min Chul is pouring his father a drink. Yon Soo is approaching the table with the cake. She looks really bad. She gets to the table and collapses, the cake landing up side down on the table.

This is the first indication anyone, besides Min Chul, has that Yon Soo is ill. I'm sure they don't know how ill at this point, but that's still coming.

Choi Ji Woo was superb in these scenes. This was all her. Really fine performance. emoticon

There's only one more episode to go. The struggle ahead is heartbreaking and we get to see LBH at his best. Emceema knows the scene I mean. Where are you emceema?

I'll be back with more. emoticon

K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD,

I laughed when Sunjae told Yonsoo that her happiness is Minchul's happiness. I thought the same exact thing smoochie, since when is he interested in Minchul's happiness? I hate to come down on Sunjae at the end of the drama but I still don't much like Sunjae zooming in on Yonsoo, you know, wanting to get her alone to talk. What's with this guy anyway? Why is he still so concerned with her? What is this need he has that he still has to talk to her privately and always without Minchul around. If he were a man with pride and principles he'd have walked away on their wedding day and called it a day. He'd have accepted that the best man for Yonsoo has won and go about his business.

Sunjae tells her she's very lucky. Without catching his breath he tells her that the thing a married woman needs most is a male buddy. Not! Is he for real?? He doesn't tell her she's "lucky" to finally be with the man she loves, that she's "lucky" that everything worked out just as she wished for. No, according to Sunjae, she's lucky that she has HIM. LOL You gotta give it to this guy, his in her face hasn't changed a bit no matter the change in circumstances. Like, uh, her marriage to someone else.

Why would he expect her to "say anything" to him, to confide in him? She has Narae for that. That's what girlfriends do. Sunjae asks if she considers him a friend. She does. In reality how could he expect her to "say anything" to him, like...what does he mean by anything? He is still out of line. He loved/loves her. She's married now. Confide in him? I don't think so. He tried to take her friendship a step farther than she ever wanted to go. Now he'll settle for being friends. He has no choice but this creep still wants her around him. She's "lucky" because a married woman needs most a male buddy. LOL Yea, that could only work if it NEVER was anything more than them being buddies. Sunjae fails the test.

Okay, it's morning and Yonsoo and Minchul are just waking up. I love this scene. How come right through the end of this drama there are still great intimate scenes between the two of them. The writers never fizzled out with this pair.

I loved it when Minchul asks her what she's supposed to do first thing in the morning. He hasn't forgotten his wish. This is such a sweet scene but I never expect anything less from Minchul. What he wants is a smile. Not a grin but a smile. Yonsoo gives it to him. He's happy. Breakfast would have been late smoochie. I agree! LOL Come to think of it, who needs breakfast? Minchul is very cute here, really, really cute...and hot. How could she even think breakfast??

When Yonsoo's cooking the birthday meal was all done and Minchul walked in he looked very surprised, but concerned. Sunchun had to be very touched and Minji was just plain excited about this little party. I saw Minchul's reaction as wondering how she was able to do all this. He is in the background and he never takes his eyes off her. Your right smoochie, he does notice her condition because he is always tuned in to her. I do think he's amazed that she could pull this off but his look is one of concern and he would be right. The saddest thing is when she walked to the table with the birthday cake and collapsed, dropping the cake upside down on the table. I can't imagine what Minchul was thinking when this happened. She has gotten worse. I'm glad that Minji and Sunchun finally know that Yonsoo is ill even though they don't know the extent of it. Yonsoo has over done herself with all the shopping and cooking. She was never strong enough to do all this and it has taken its toll. I feel really sorry for her. I don't know why but I always feel a bit relieved when Minchul is around in a time like this. His is such a strong character that the relief is in his take charge attitude and his words for Yonsoo one day to leave everything up to him. Now I know he's not a doctor or anything but he is so hands on with her that just his presence in a time like this is reasurring and comforting. But I would be right to say also that he is just as scared as the next person.

Choi Ji Woo has captured her character perfectly. For the viewers you never doubt her sickness in her scenes. Minchul's reactions to her as always are shown in his expressions. All you have to do is look at his demeanor and you know how he's thinking and what he's thinking. Great acting!

Yonsoo wants nothing more than to make this house her home and this family hers. I loved how she made the birthday meal. Minchul even buys a cake. It reminded me of the time when it was his mother's birthday and Yonsoo convinced Minchul to buy her flowers. He didn't want to but in the end he did. That too, no doubt was the first time Mnchul ever bought her a birthday present and when she saw the flowers it touched her deeply I'm sure, since they came from Minchul. Yonsoo though she is sick now, will be the one who'll make this house a home, finally. A woman's touch.

I love the pictures smoochie. Especially the sleeping ones. Breakfast in bed anyone???

Good Morning BD Family emoticon

Its funny how you and I have the same take on Sun Jae in that scene. Male Buddy? Does he think being a male buddy means whisking her away on his bike when she should be meeting Min Chul. Or his crying on he shoulder? Or her sharing her and Min Chul's secrets? Yon Soo isn't one to share many secrets, even with Narae. What could he be thinking? "Okay, you're married, but I still want an excuse to be in your face as much as possible."

The funny thing about this is that once Min Chul and Yon Soo really committed, Min Chul never got angry over Sun Jae's obsession with her. He actually felt bad for him. He used to be aggravated by Yon Soo's unwillingness to draw a clear line for Sun Jae. She saw it as friendship and Sun Jae saw it otherwise. Min Chul never saw him as a threat, per se, but didn't like like Yon Soo's lack of understanding of the situation. He knows now its never going to interfere with their relationship again. Yon Soo was different when they came back together and she finally put Sun Jae in proper perspective and stopped letting him into her life in such a personal way. The last concession she made was his "Goodbye Dinner". I myself thought that was a hoot. Like I said once, Sun Jae and Team Manager were both standing on the sidelines after these two committed. Both of them had the same significance in the lives of this couple. Little or None.

Poor Yon Soo, growing up in an orphanage, has always wanted to be part of a family. This was the first time she has a chance to prepare a celebration dinner for her new "family". She wanted it to be special and she really, really tried. A combination of the heat and the shopping after working all day, plus her weakened condition from her illness got the better of her. When Min Chul came into the house he immediately zoned in on her and realized this was too much for her to have done. He was concerned. I think he tried , for her sake, to appear normal, pouring his father a drink. Something else entirely new for him. I'm sure he'd never in his life poured his father a birthday drink. How shocking for everyone when she went down with the cake!

I agree that having Min Chul there gives Yon Soo a sense of security and comfort. I think the actor is playing this part perfectly. LBH lets us see that although Min Chul's appearing strong and willing to do anything to see her through this, we also see his helplessness and fear at the same time. Though he never lets Yon Soo see this. He knows that all he can do is comfort her and be there to help her put her own fears away. He does that. He's as scared as she is.

Breakfast in bed? I still don't know how she got out of that bed!! I know its the daughter in law's responsibility to make breakfast for the family, but I say that's carrying responsibility too far!! Way too far!! He looked all warm and cuddly and she gave him a peck on the cheek!?! I'm telling you, they'd have had to go to a diner for breakfast that morning. I'd be too busy for making breakfast. I know they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but there are some things much more important than breakfast!! emoticon

We have to move on to the sad part now. I'm sorry I let this drama linger here for such a long time, because every time I watch it again, I realize how much I love it. Its done so well. The cast is so well chosen and so on top of their game in this one. I'm going to be sorry to see it end. The good news is, I can watch it again and again.

K-Drama (SBS): 아름다운 날들 (Beautiful Days)

Good Morning BD,

We've reached the final episode and I just want to say how much I've enjoyed re-watching this drama again. Thanks for taking it to the end with me smoochie. And thanks so much for all the great pictures you posted, it always made the scenes come to life somehow. Sometimes life gets in the way and we have to put our posting on hold but for the most part, we did do our part. It's been a lot of fun.

In the end of the last episode we see Yonsoo collapsing onto the table dropping the birthday cake. When the credits roll, we get a glimpse of Minchul in a playground sitting on a bench alone thinking "I love you more with each passing day" as he covers his mouth and face with his hand, all the while crying. I realize this may be a clip from a past episode since he's wearing a different suit then what he has on for the birthday party. What's your take on this little scene smoochie, could it be an outake or have I just forgotten it?

Yonsoo is back at the hospital being checked out and Minchul is sitting in the hallway just outside her door, face in hands, he's very worried. Minji is pacing back and forth in front of him. Minchul's gaze is at the floor when Narae, Sena and Sunjae come running up to him. Someone must have called them.

Narae wants to know what happened to Yonsoo, she wants to know if she's really sick. Sena asks if she's critical? A very subdued Minchul answers that they don't know yet, she just got out of the emergency room. Narae tries to comfort Minchul telling him that it's just exhaustion from the wedding and moving in and all. She tells him not to worry, Yonsoo won't get worse. Minchul nods his head but looks down covering his mouth. He is more than concerned and worried.

Minji asks Narae "it's not exhaustion?" Poor Minji. Minchul looks up at her knowing he has never told her the facts. She's the only one still being kept in the dark the whole time while he was waiting for the right time to tell her and his father. Looks like the time has come sooner rather than later. Narae leads her away.

Sunjae asks Minchul if he should see the doctor? I'm pleased to see that he ASKED Minchul first, afterall, Minchul is her husband. Minchul tells him "Please. You'll understand better. Find out in detail."

A nurse is about to enter Yonsoo's room and Minchul is up quicker than you can bat an eye. He's about to follow her inside but she tells him he can't come in yet. Minchul gets a glimpse of his Yonsoo through the partially opened door. Yonsoo is asleep. Minchul has such an anxious look on his face as he watches Yonsoo, then, the door closes in his face. He leans on the wall with his hand and takes a very deep breath. The look on his face...his eyes, he breathes out then straightens up, he's staring nowhere, the wall is his support...

Minji is crying alone in her seat near the admission area. Sunjae comes by and sees her, he watches her cry. He slowly walks overs and sits besides her.

Sunjae tells Minji not to cry in front of Minchul or Yonsoo. Hey, where's the comfort?? I guess he'll give that in a moment or two. He tells her to be strong for them, that if she keeps crying the two of them will have a tough time.

Minji asks if Yonsoo can get better. Sunjae is positve in his answer, he tells her of course. Minji is full of regrets, had she known how sick she was she wouldn't have made her work so hard. She tells Sunjae that Yonsoo collapsed because she asked her to prepare Dad's birthday dinner. Sunjae says it's not like that, she's just not very healthy. Through her tears Minji tells him that she feels so bad for Minchul and Yonsoo, they love each other so very much. Minji wonders about the pain they must be going through. Sunjae tells her to be strong for them from now on so they don't start losing hope. Minji doesn't think she can do that, she tells him that just seeing their faces chokes her up. She's still crying as Sunjae takes her head and leans it against his shoulder.

Minchul is with Yonsoo now as she opens her eyes. She gives him a little grin while he is intently looking at her. She tells him she is still here as she smiles. So sad... Minchul gives her a little smile back as he nods. If it's possible, he is somewhat relieved for this small victory. She's alive. Yonsoo tells Minchul that Father must have been shocked. Minchul answers her with "a little." I like the fact that Minchul is calm before her, he doesn't behave as though his world is falling apart even though his world IS falling apart.

Yonsoo says she wanted to earn his love as a good daughter-in-law and she ruined it all. Minchul tells her everyone is waiting outside. She wants to know why he called them and Minchul tells her that Narae called and he couldn't not tell her. Yonsoo says next time not to tell them, she doesn't want to scare them like this. Minchul nods, tells her okay and will tell them all to come in. Before he leaves, Yonsoo tells him he looks tired, she wants him to go home and get some rest. A tear falls from her eye as he leaves to get the others.

Sitting in the lobby, Narae asks Sunjae if it will be serious if she gets complications. I'm sure the answer is yes though Sunjae doesn't quite answer her. He tells her and Sena he hopes she gets a transplant before then. Sena asks if they can be tested and Narae thinks they might match. Sunjae tells them it's highly unlikely and he's already been tested but...

Sena wants them tested anyway because they must do something and Narae agrees. Sunjae will set up the blood test. I can't help wondering where Minji is right now, off by herself somewhere?

Minchul goes up to them and tells them Yonsoo is up, to go in. Narae and Sena rush to her room as Minchul touches Sunjae's arm for him to go too. Sunjae doesn't. He sits down next to Minchul and asks "it's hard, isn't it?" Minchul doesn't answer. Sunjae tells him to take care of himself, that he must be strong to take care of Yonsoo. Ho hum...

Sunjae informs Minchul that many guardians pass out taking care of patients. Minchul says he thought he could do anything for Yonsoo but he knows there is nothing he can do for her. He can't stand being useless at this point, that's too hard. Sunjae reassures Minchul that his presence alone provides her strength. Minchul nods ever so slightly as he rubs his face with his hands...

Narae, Sena and Minji are giving their blood to be tested. Minchul is walking outside during the same time and we hear Minchul's voice "I beg you for your mercy. I'll not forget your kindness if a donor is found." He's walking very fast through an entrance manned by guards. Is it the hospital grounds, probably so.

Then we hear "if we can't find a donor, contact Japan, China, wherever. Expense is no issue." Is this still Minchul's voice smoochie or is it Sunjae's? I'm not sure. Now Sunjae is seen running back into the hospital.

Minchul is on the subway when his phone rings. No one is there when Minchul picks up. He looks consumed with worry. Minji is at the art studio after having just gotten done speaking with Yonsoo's students. She appears to be thanking everyone. I'm sure she asked them to have their blood tested.

Narae is at Minchul's office. She's seated with Team Leader and Minchul's two aides. She asks that they have their blood tested. She explains that the more people tested, the higher their chances. It's the only way. Minchul's right hand man understands and will do it tomorrow. Team Leader is afraid of needles but she will do it also.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Sunae exits a room with a little smile. He begins running down the hallway. Looks like there may be good news!

Good Morning BD Family emoticon

Thanks for catching us up, Jasy. emoticon We're coming into the home stretch and though, as you said life gets in the way, we can't just let this one slip away. I love this drama too much to not give it a proper sendoff. No matter how long it takes.

Min Ji is the only one of the group at the hospital who's unaware of Yon Soo's illness. When we see Sun Jae approaching her, it seems like he's already seen Yon Soo's doctor. He seems more down than usual. His attitude when he talks to Min Ji is more positive though. He gives her a sort of pep talk, as he tries to comfort her. This is likely the first brother/sister moment that they've ever shared.

When Yon Soo tells Min Chul not to tell anyone the next time, tells us she expects this sort of thing to happen again. Min Chul was so devastated by her sudden collapse, I'm sure he didn't expect it to be something that could occur again at anytime. She knows its part of her illness. He thought he was losing her. If possible he looks almost as bad as she does. His eyes look dead. He looks dazed.

I kind of liked when Sun Jae didn't go in to see Yon Soo with the rest, but stayed to comfort Min Chul. For once we see at least a small bit of concern for his brother. He knows its hard for him and his asking that makes me think back to when he thought he should be the one by her side. He thought he would be better at it. Now he seems to realize that neither of them have any power over what happens to Yon Soo, but given a choice she'd prefer Min Chul at her side. He's the one who gives her sustenance. Sun Jae seems to have finally come to terms that fact.

The voice we hear, Jasy, is Sun Jae's. Remember back when we saw him tell Mimi he wanted money, the more money the better? That was back when he just found out about Yon Soo's illness and he knew her care would be expensive. Donors cost money. He was preparing for that day.

Min Chul on the subway alone is a sad sight. He already looks beaten. He'll never show that face to Yon Soo though.

The scene you're talking about where he's crying with his hands over his face is coming up. Its LBH at his very best.

I'm going now. emoticon I'll be back.

Later emoticon
