Good Morning BD,
The big day has arrived. Yonsoo is sitting up in her hospital bed deep in thought. When Sena and Narae enter the room, she has a smile for them and calls them over to her. They are very clearly distraught. Yonsoo takes their hands as they sit in front of her.
Narae asks how she feels. Yonsoo says she feels good, like she's going on a picnic. Taking her cue from Yonsoo's words, Narae tells her she must know that she has to go on a treasure hunt at the picnic. She tells her to go and find a healthy body. Yonsoo assures her she will.
Narae is having a really hard time. Her eyes are filled with tears and she can't stop crying, for real. Yonsoo is sorry to have to say this but she asks Narae that if something should go wrong, can she take care of things afterwards? She explains that she doesn't want Minchul having to deal with that. She knows it will be hard for Narae too but since Narae has been like a mother to her, she asks that she does it for her. Through her tears, Narae says she will and Yonsoo thanks her.
Sena is still Sena after all. She tells Yonsoo to stop worrying about Minchul and to just think of herself. I still see this anger in Sena but I know it's anger because Yonsoo is so sick. She tells Yonsoo the living go on living. Yonsoo has the patience of a saint, doesn't she? She takes her hand and Sena asks her "what? What now?" Yonsoo has something for Sena to have. She takes Sena's opened hand and places a ring on a chain in it. Yonsoo says that the last time she gave her this, she did so because she thought Sena would be lonely. This time Yonsoo explains, "I'm giving it so I won't be lonely, because I might have to leave on a long journey alone." With those words Narae holds her chest is despair as she cries. Yonsoo tells Sena she won't feel so lonely knowing Sena has this. She asks her to keep it for her and to always remember the love they shared the first time she gave her this. Sena nods her head while her eyes are down cast and she manages a little smile.
Yonsoo then puts the necklace around her neck. Sena grabs her in a hug as they cry. Yonsoo puts an arm around Narae too and Yonsoo holds them both close to her. There's not a dry eye in the room.
The giving of her own chain and ring was such a nice gesture on Yonsoo's part. I don't think there is anything else Yonsoo could have given Sena that held more meaning for the two of them. And Sena is truly touched.
Now all that is left for Minchul, Sena and Narae is to wait and pray. Minchul must be making the final arrangements so he didn't witness this little scene. It's just as well because of what Yonsoo had to ask Narae about taking care of things if something should go wrong. With Yonsoo sitting up in bed like that when they walked in and having her ring ready for Sena, Yonsoo most likely called them to come see her.

Spit it out smoochie. Say what you really feel. LOL As they say, he's not getting older, he's just getting better. And no truer words have been spoken.
Well, we're coming to the end of Beautiful Days now and as you can tell, I don't want it to end. It's the same feeling I had with Bizarre Bunch. There are many good TV dramas and movies out there today but BD and BB are two that are far and above all the rest in my opinion. The story, the director and the actors all made BD the hit it became. It's been a good ride and I enjoyed every minute of it with you smoochie. We did have fun, didn't we?

Jasy, I think this is my favorite drama too. I would say BB is still my all time favorite daily drama. I haven't seen anything that comes close to BB, in writing, acting, or story line. We were really rocking these boards while we watched BB, even the second watch. I don't see that kind of fervor over any other daily. We all had so much to say then, about everything BB. We really dissected that one, didn't we?
I have a list of maybe 5 or 6 all time favorite shorter dramas and BD tops that list. If I had to name them, I'd have to leave out anything LBH starred in, or it wouldn't be fair. He's in the one at top of the list and then there are the others, without him in them. All are really my favorites, which means I could watch them again and again. We all have such a list, I know. Mine starts with BD.
We're going to end this watch soon, but we'll always have something to say about some scene or some piece of acting or just to look at pictures of my boyfriend.  I still have lots of pictures.
I'll be back.

This adoration I feel for LBH can all be attributed to you. Or shall I say, its all your fault. You may have started my love for this actor, but he's held up his end of the bargain by being a really fine actor and he's my favorite hottie. Have you seen him in The Good, The Bad and The Weird? He was absolutely brilliant. But, its what I expected. He isn't a top actor for nothing.
Jasy and I stuck it out, because the drama deserved it and because we committed to do it and honored that commitment. I have to say I don't regret a minute of the time spent on it, and though I can't speak for Jasy, I think she feels the same way.
We're dragging it out, I know, because we hate to see it end. Like it or not, its coming to an end. But, I've got a multitude of pictures left. What to do? I know, I'll post as many as I can and I hope you and other lurkers enjoy them. I do. I can look at this guy all day and far into the night! If only!!!
I'm watching City Hall too and I have a thing for Cha Seung Won too, he's definitely on my hottie list, but LBH will always top that list. I've seen him in many movies and he doesn't usually do drama, but this one is just great. He's great and Kim Sun Ah is perfect playing his co-star. This one is on my five favorite dramas list too. I don't put LBH's dramas on that list. It wouldn't be fair to other actors.

Jasy, that was a very sad and touching scene you talked about. I was surprised at how brave Yon Soo was, while talking to Narae and Sena. I don't know how she held it all together.
I can't imagine the way Min Chul and Yon Soo are feeling on this day. They couldn't have slept the night before. The fear must be overwhelming. I know they're trying to be hopeful, but at the same time, Yon Soo was preparing in case of her death.
Asking Narae to take care of her arrangements if things didn't go well was a very heartrending moment. This friendship goes beyond all else. Saying she'd been like a mother to her broke my heart. Narae always tried to protect her and watch over her. So she was in place of the mother Yon Soo never had, but what a terrible thing to have to do. Narae, being Narae would do it with Yon Soo in her heart.
Yon Soo wanting to spare Min Chul was just like her. She has to know he'd be in such a state of grief if something should happen to her, he'd be unable to operate on any level. I can't even imagine it. I doubt he'd ever get over losing her. They had such a short time together, but it was such an intense relationship, it would to leave a huge hole in Min Chul's life to be without Yon Soo in his future.
Sena finally gave in to her feelings for Yon Soo and put her bitterness aside. Yon Soo giving her the chain and ring was just right. Sena had given it back to Yon Soo in one of her moments. This was a perfect time for her to take it from Yon Soo. I'm sure she would regret not having it if something went wrong.
I'm thinking of the box Yon Soo packed. The portrait of Min Chul, their wedding picture and other memorabilia. Do you believe Min Chul would have been able to part with that stuff? I don't. The box had a note on it to send to Narae, but if he opened that box he wouldn't have done it. No way! The portrait alone held such tender memories. I remember them while in the process of her drawing it. What an intense moment that was. So sensual! So many scenes like that in this drama. If Min Chul remembers it, the way I remember it, there's no way that's going to Narae!!
This was way too big to post. Click on it. You'll like seeing them like this again. I promise. 
Min Chul would not allow those memories to leave his grasp.
I want to post more picture, but keep getting frozen. 
I'll start a new post and there'll be a lot of picture. I hope nobody minds.
