Episode 1 looked good...and promising. My only problem with this drama is seeing Lee Mi-sook cast as the school head with the glasses. She is such an enormously talented and serious actress that it saddens me to see her reduced to such a role. I hope this is a character that provides her with some challenge eventually and that she's not having to take it for the sake of working. Hopefully, I can block all that out and just accept her character as it is. But right now, I'm having a difficult time.

Re: K-Drama: 위대한 유산 (Great Inheritance/Kindergarten Love)
Saw the first episode last night. do not care for the leading guy. Was ready to not watch it until I saw that Lee Mi sook was in the cast,as shown here. I love her. She is the finest Korean actress. However, if what you say is correct nchristi, then I will hate it if she is not given a real role. She would not be reduced to working just for the money. She is married with two sons and had retired for a while. I think she works as she pleases. Hope that her choice this time will work out as the drama proceeds.
Having seen her with Lee Jung Jae in 'An Affair' I can't imagine her in any dumb character. She is too attractive and really powerful . Just ask Lee Jung Jae.

Re: K-Drama: 위대한 유산 (Great Inheritance/Kindergarten Love)
This drama is a blessed relief to me. I'm totally OD'd on depressing, dark, degrading dramas—which seems to be the current fare. What a pleasure to have this bright, comedic drama.
One of the things I am enjoying is the literal brightness of the filming. All bright, clear, clean, primary colors...the feeling of lightness of being in the world of very young children. It just feels good.
The pairing of the young leads is right on, too. I think they have good chemistry and look especially appealing together physically. Lee Mi Sook's role is fleshing out into something more interesting that I originally thought. I don't know if she's done comedy before, but she's holding her own. I just love that woman! She is nothing short of spectacular in anything dramatic. I never tire of watching any serious role she plays.
Then there are the children. Those who loved the little girl in "Hometown Station" will see her again here, joined by a few other great little actors. While I couldn't stand the character the girl played in Hometown, I love her in this one. She really cracks me up. Very precocious little girl. class blockquote koreancrazee wrote:

I'm guessing that Kim Jae-Won was visiting the funeral of one of his mob bosses, or someone related to the mob in some way.
I'm not sure who you mean when you ask "why did the boss" want him to be a teacher. Do you mean his mother? Or the mob boss? The mob boss wants him to be a teacher because that is the only way they can take control of the kindergarten land and turn it into their big development project. If he refuses
to go through the 100 days of teacher training, then he doesn't inherit the property and it goes to the principal lady.
