The 14th it is at 6:30. With Pooka67 getting off work at 6:00 but living close by that should be good for everyone.
Address 9520 Garden Grove Blvd. and I will post directions.
In the mean time if there is a korean Restrurant that you (meaning everyone) think might work check it out for Menu price and capacity.
I would like to give every one at least a 3 to 4 week head up as to where and when.

i'm sorry if I missed it, but are we meeting to plan for a gets together or are we meeting like last time? I kind of jump into the middle - sorry  . I'll let you guys know for sure by the end of this weekend if I can make it. I have prior plans for the whole month, but they keeps on changing on me at the last minutes  .

I plan on checking these restaurants out ... for price..... room to meet in....convience (how close to freeways). I am choosing Garden Grove because of the Korean population and it is not to far from me.

Hello All - have been off the Boards again due to a busy life,
FINALLY, we're back to talking again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be glad to help, but meeting on a weeknight is not fair to us "northerners". Why do we have to have a meeting........
I thought it was decided in Feb/Mar that we chose Garden Grove as the next area for our get-together and that we wanted to go to a temple..... we just didn't pick a date. So, we just need to pick a place and what weekend.
I'm throwing the first dates in the ring - Sat, 5/12 or Sat, 5/19. If it's a Sunday (same weekends), it has to be closer to 2 pm so us "northerners" have a chance to drive down after church. Don't forget (as nsheldon mentioned, we start to get into graduations and then the big tourist season).
I'm sorry for not remembering, but will the person who brought up the temple visit, please check with them (unless you already know) if a Saturday is okay for a group visit.
Does a temple have grounds that we can have a picnic? If an eating place is close by, when can all walk over to order food.
Another thought, if a place doesn't have a "back room", maybe a place will have a decent back corner for us to gather..... if we let them know in advance.
Funny you should bring up KBS (in another post).... since they have been advertising their anniversary, I've been thinking of getting in touch with them, letting them know that we have met as a K-Drama fan group and was planning another one and asking if we could have a tour as part of our get-together.
Since we can't do both on the same day, I'll talk to KBS and if nothering can be arranged with them, then let's stick to our temple visit.
Again, if you feel we need to meet to plan a get-together, then so be it. If it's this Saturday, I'll be there. After 4 is good as it allows for other day activities and drive time. Please confirm the time and place for this Saturday's meeting.
