Ok, can we take a final vote for date?

Please indicate either Saturday June 21 or Saturday June 28 and we'll go with the majority.

ALso, Curly Carrot: If you are near that area can you check if there is a restaurant that we can go to. There will be maybe 4 or 5 people taking public transportation so if it is decided to go somewhere that is too far to walk maybe others (that drive) can give us walkers a ride.

We didn't plan a 'pre-meet' meeting so I guess the date we finally decide on is the date we tour the Cultural Center and have lunch.

Does anyone have any ideas for 'fun'? Maybe we could come up with a questionair (for when we have lunch) and everyone could fill in the blanks and we could take turns talking about it. Maybe like: What's your favorite Kdrama; How did you get started; How long have you watched Kdramas... Any ideas?

OK... EVERYONE that plans to attend our gathering/tour/lunch please indicate how many people you have so we can have an idea about making a lunch reservation.

the size of the group will determine which restaurant we can visit. So let me know numbers as soon as they have been compiled and I will post the restaurant choices.
Perhaps members can pm with questionaire items and the list can be printed and distributed at the gathering.

Ok, it sounds like JUNE 28/Saturday will work for everyone (I hope). Now we just need to know a more definite head count to tour the Cultural Center and have lunch…

I will have a better idea this week if we will be able to participate. Alex is signing up for a class that will be held on Saturdays so I have to see if he gets in. He is going to complete registration Monday.

June 28th is fine with me & just so you know, I will be taking public transit from Glendale. I'm assuming the Cultural Center is in K-town & if it's on Wilshire or just off Wilshire, it should be easy to get to for me!!

LOVE your ideas for topics to discuss, nsheldon!! Can't think of anything to add. Also, will add that I've never really had Korean food & don't handle "spicy" too well, which probably means no kimchi for me, LOL. But I should be ok with anything else, though I'm not much of an "experimenter" when it comes to food.

If not too much of a problem, it would be nice to find a place that serves soju emoticon

Looking forward to meeting everybody & discussing K-dramas!!
