Is anyone planning on going to the Korean Festival in Garden Grove this weekend (as seen on ads in our kdramas, it will be Oct. 10-12th)? I'm off Sat. If anyone wants to go, we can meet up and have lunch somewhere.

the girls, their friends and I were planning to go (we had a great time last year) but I just got called for an assignment in Big Bear this weekend emoticon

Had a blast the last time, though it was a bit shorter than I thought it would be...my own fault emoticon

Would love to go to OC since it seems to be a larger group...though, it's pretty far from me (Glendale) & I don't have a car at the moment!! Perhaps, I can hitch a ride with somebody who lives in the Burbank-Glanedale-Pasadena area?

Will be happy to help out with gas money!! Where in the OC, is the gathering usually held??

Hi Lex07 .... The last time we gathered in Garden Grove. The day started out with a tour at the Buddist temple and then headed to the restrurant.

We had a group of people who helped me put it together. The Korean restrurant we went to was really really good. I have been back there a few times. It really was a lot of fun.

I am not sure who is up your way. Have you though about coming south on MetroLink? Not knowing yet where we will meet but there a several MetroLink stations. I know that they run on the weekends now. Just a thought. It would be great meeting you.
