I also may be interested in taking the train from Chatsworth if anybody has room . I guess we will see as the plans come along .

I also have some gently used Kdramas that I could donate for prizes .

Tankerspark... You are a 'take charge' kind of person so I hope you can lead the pack for us. I'm a good 'follower' and will do whatever I can to help.

Ok, I also would love for Creidesca to be able to join us. Creidesca, is there any way you can spend an hour or so with us if we have it on a Saturday? If you really can't, is there anyone that really cannot make it on a Sunday?

I assume the location would be Garden Grove, unless someone knows of another good place/area in Orange County..

Addie & Lex... If you can get to the Norwalk station I will pick you up.
Hyena, if you go to Cerritos (the place where we met up before) I will pick you up also.

I won't get to have soju because I'll be the driver.. I'll have to buy a bottle & take it home for another time... lol

I will send PM to Adwatcher. We haven't heard from him in so long. I hope him and Diane are able to join us...

Creidesca it would not be at get together without you. So my vote is: It will be a Sunday and in April I have 2 that I am free. April 12 or the 26.
The 5th and the 19th is family function (grandson's birthdays).

Lex07: I have an MetroLink schedule. There are not meny times on the weekend. From your station (Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs) Trains leave at 1:15pm - 4:51pm - and 9:05pm (headed south). If you go on metrolinktrains.com you will get a better idea. Surfline (AmTrack) does not stop in norwalk. My schedule maybe old. So Please check.

As far as restrurants go. Well if we go BarB Que that is pretty much the way seating is, 4 to a table. I can look for a restrurant that is not BarB Que and see what the offering is. The great thing about Cham Soot Gol is we had our own room.

There is a new place in Irvine but it may just be BBQ.

Stay in touch. My inventory hell month is coming to an end. YAYAYA

Thanks Margaret!

I think Lex is coming from Glendale area (is that right Lex?). He would take a train to Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs area and I could pick him up. Addie could do the same from the Valley (to Norwalk).

Sunday April 12 or 26 is fine with me...

If anyone has any ideas for games please share!! Actually, I think it would be fun to have prizes in the way of 'slightly used' dramas! Maybe someone has two copies of something or maybe a drama they know they won't re-watch?

I think I have one or two dramas that I could part wtih.... only watched once... If we could get about a dozen of these dramas and can come up with some games, it should be a lot of fun.... Isn't there that game like White Elephant where you can take someone else's gift? I forgot how it goes but it takes time to play and is lots of fun..

Unfortunately, I don't have any "sets" to contribute, as the ones that have good quality & perfect sub-titles are my very favorites and the ones that I have are a bit flawed (ebay items) emoticon

Looking forward to seeing friends from last year's group in L.A. & meeting new friends in Garden Grove emoticon

lex07, you can also take the Red/Blue/Green lines--the Green line just ends up in a different place in Norwalk. The Metrolink is the train, while the Red/Blue/Green is more like the "subway."

Actually, I've taken the "subway" many times but not sure if the Green Line station would leave me farther away from nsheldon...but I'm guessing that it would be much cheaper than the Metrolink, though not as nice & smooth a ride emoticon

Lex & Addie: Anything that can get you to Norwalk/Downey area would be very easy for me to go to for pick up. I am near the 105 freeway and I know there is some sort of train thingy that stops on the 105 at Lakewood Blvd. in Downey. There is also a stop at the end of the 105 freeway in Norwalk. I think that's where that train or Metrolink stops and then goes back to LA.

Also, If it's something near the 405 freeway in Long Beach would be ok also.

Ok, now we need to vote on which Sunday... the 12th or the 26th.

We also need some input on what games to play to entertain ourselves and/or what prizes we need. Any suggestions? Or do we want to just eat and talk?
