K-Drama Fan Meetings! (Post, Discuss, and Arrange)
Hi everyone,
Just want to make sure, have we set a time to meet yet? I know before it was around 1 but not sure if we're still sticking to that. I might run a little late as I just found out I have to be somewhere else prior to the meeting, but will be there  .

Any fan of Ruler of Your Own World around North East? (New York, New Jersey)
I know it's an old drama but I could find any other better than that yet, not even MISA. While BB fans get together over West, let's get together over East.

I'm here in NYC and pretty new to Kdramas - have only been watching BB, Farewell to Tears and since that finished, Thank you Life.....am up for a GTG in NYC if others are...but I don't like spoilers

Good Morning everyone.... Hope everyone had a good 4th of July
Adding a few updates here.
Funniegirlie We are keeping to the 1:00 time. However that is for arriving - getting your lunch - etc etc so from about 1:00 to 2:00 we will be GATHERING. From 2:00 - on introducing ourselves and playing whos' who etc.
Korea Town Plaza is a great place to explore. Ofter we eat. We might seperate and hit the plaza. Re-up at the food court one hour later with what we have found to buy and talk about it. There is a few thing I want to find (ost for bizzare bunch - side dishes w/covers etc etc). This is just an idea. We have no stone tables to write stuff down on ;) he he. If anyone has ideas please let me know. I have been there atleast 6 times and never found the grocery store. I guess after hitting the food court I was to full to look any futher (hope they carry "Margaret" cookies)
ADDIE 04 I have called KBS-LA and I was told to fax over to them the information. I will have this done by tomorrow (I hope). I have their fax number.
Have a great day I am off to work and home just intime for "Hometown Station" (that is if I dont have customers stopping me on my way out the door)

Hello everybody!
So, I was planning to be there at 12noon, browse around especially at the Music Plaza, then go to the food court at 1pm and wait for everybody. But since not everybody will be arriving at the same time, we'll go ahead and eat lunch, then maybe reserve some tables and chairs for everyone. Maybe 3 tables are enough? My last count of attendees is 13 with Adwatcher bringing his wife and I with my husband.

Hi everyone,
I did not get a chance today to get something on paper to fax over to KBS-LA.
It would be great if they came. Just so they can see the audiance that they have.
I do want to set a chair aside for those family members who are unable to attend.
I am going shopping tomorrow for purple and pink balloons. I hope they let us put them up. I think Partytime has kits that have a small canister of air and balloons.
Is there anything anyone wants to add - say - do? OK meeting adjourned for now to be reconviend at the earliest convience.

koreandramas.net, our sister board in Philly, is the main spot to look for K-drama fan get-togethers in the northeast and for discussion of Korean dramas on local stations in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and maybe the DC area. As Tankersparks mentioned above, the Philly board has had a get-together in NYC. (And if you are interested in Japanese dramas, japan-guide.com is the main board for discussing Japanese dramas on local New York channels.)
Of course, we welcome posters from everywhere (especially since we've become the main board for discussing dramas on the national channels).
