LOL, just don't call during a show!! 7pm is fine but my Road Home comes on around 7:15 on KBS World for me. A good time is before 7pm or after 8:15pm..
I know there is a train (or whatever it is) station in Norwalk and I think it's right on Imperial Hwy. If you can, try to get to that station around 1pm (or near that time).. Our reservations are for 2pm and it takes about 30 min to drive there. I'd like to get there early to help set up.
We did meet on Friday nite (myself, Tankerspark, Pooka and Hyena). We decided that the place we met last time in Garden Grove works out pretty good. Tankerspark and myself went by to check it out again. They said they would most likely put us in another (larger) room and we looked at it. It's just an area that is separated from the main area. It's possible that they may (depending on the number of customers) put others in that room also, but hopefully we'll get it all to ourselves. (and we told them a couple times that we may get noisy)...
Sorry I didn't write down the address of the restaurant, but if you have it Margaret, could you please post it?
Also, when we went to check out the place and make the reservation the parking lot was packed and there were a lot of people waiting to get in. It must be a very popular/good place.

Ok, just checked Metrolink's weekend schedule. I think the stop you mentioned, nsheldon, is Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs & the best train, for me, should arrive at about 1:06pm...just a 20-minute ride from Union Station.
The return is a bit tricker, as there is one trip back to Union Station at 3:35, probably not enough time to enjoy the festivities, and the next & last trip to Union Station is at 7:03pm. The surprising thing is that the return trip is 30 minutes long, getting into Union Station at 7:35pm 
So, I hope we don't have to rush the restaurant thing, as I have several hours to kill before heading back

I drove past the 2nd place we talked about, but was by it almost before I saw it. The street was torn up, so I didn't try to stop. It looked like an "open" restaurant, not one with enclosed rooms. So I'm glad you chose the one we went to last time.

thanks for the notice. I'm looking forward to seeing my extended family again. I missed the planning meeting. By the time I caught this thread, the meeting was on-going or over. That's what I get for staying away so long.
How are we handling the Prizes? Will we be having a gift exchange again, or..? If I can help out in any way, please let me know, be it transportation, coordination, etc.
curly carrot: Will your lovely daughters be joining us again? If there was ever an advertisement for good parenting, your daughters are the poster children.
I'm running through a mental list of our family. I hope I get to see you all again. What I miss is the opportunity to spend a few minutes with each of you one on one. The time just goes by so fast.
