Good morning Persimmon,
How this has worked in the past is Cham Soot Gol has a regular menu an all you can eat Bar B Que. The last time we went the group decided to do the "all you can eat". It is about 17.00 dollars a person plus beverage. The last time we meet there the food was really good and they took very good care of us. When NSheldon and I checked it out there were a lot of people waiting to get in.
The reservation is made for 2:00pm and 15 people, with room to add more. We usually end around at 4 to 5pm. We do try to get some interaction going so that we can get to know one another.

Yay, it looks like this time around, I am able to convince my fraternal twin younger brothers (by a year) and the younger twin's girlfriend to attend. Younger twin (an avid Japanese anime/drama watcher) and his girlfriend watches K-dramas, just not extensively as I do.

This get-together sounds so great! I wish I lived close enough to join you guys. Unfortunately, there's no organized group of k-drama fans in my area (at least, none that I'm aware of) so I really envy you. Anyway, I hope you all have a great time!

Hi everyone, I usually post in the J-Drama Forum, but I'd really like to make it to the fan meeting this time around. Looks like it will be a lot of fun!
I live in the Northridge area (northern part of the San Fernando Valley), but I won't be able to get a ride from my parents to Garden Grove on Sunday. I thought I would check the public transportation schedules, and it looks like I would have to first get to Union Station in Downtown LA, and then take 3 different buses to get to Garden Grove (it would take about 3 hours).
I just had an idea -- does anyone know if the Metrolink trains run to Garden Grove from the Union Station/Downtown area? I know Union Station frequently has trains heading towards Orange County, so that might be a better idea, especially since the trains run pretty quickly.
Sorry again for the short notice, but the fan meet seems really fun!

Metro link has trains on the weekend from Union Station south. Please
go to metrolinktrains.com and check the week end schedule.
NSheldon is already picking up at the norwalk/santa Fa springs station. The transfer is really easy at Union Station. If NSheldon does not post here (I am sure she will)by the time i get home from work at 5:00pm I will get back to you.
