So to day Mr. Song found Kang and had him transfered to the Admin. Dept. Mr. Song cracks me up with his weird laugh and his over pronounced English. He did say "Aigoo hemorrhoids!" to Mr. Kim which cracked me up again. Poor Mr. Kim .

So while Kang is dealing with the construction mess BS is trying to tell Mr. Moon what a loser Kang is. BS is all happy at his desk thinking he has ruined Kang. We get to hear that BS' investor in a big deal has pulled out of the deal so BS will be having some money problems soon. BS also tells Hyun-ah that he just went out with Mi-ok a few times but she still wants to have her fired. I can't stand Hyun-ah!!!

I love poor Sung-Tae trying to tutor super dense Min! Min with that faraway look in his eyes reciting the same thing over and over. It sounded like a coconut when Sung -Tae thumped him in the head.

He also looked nice at the sauna with the pretty purple clip in his hair.

So Kang is going to get his 2nd award at work this time from the Construction Dept.

BS looked like his head was going to explode when he was watching Mr. Kim being interviewed on tv about his top hire. Did anyone notice that BS has a 8 x 10 picture of BS on his vanity table! Nice touch! I did feel bad for him when he had to go get his drunk dad at the police station and his dad was still a jerk to him. Also it was sad when he was telling Kang at the Fox how he remembers them teasing him about his Mom leaving and his drunk dad. The part about him having to go hungry when they took his food almost made me cry, it doesn't make up for what he has been doing to Kang but I still feel bad for BS.

pflfan, yes that scene was so funny. The scenes with the temps + ms nah are always having something hilarious to laugh at.

Hyun-ah is obviously jealous. She wants everyone to drool over her. The funny thing is, remember she told Mi-ok that she doesn't like people who go around? What's she doing now though. She's constantly going back and forth between Ho Kang and Bong Sam.

I can't wait to see episode 9 tonight. I want to know what's going to happen with how Kang is marshalling the forces to try to save Mi-ok. Mi-ok is more dense than that girl from Secret though. Lord, I hope she does something for herself. She never stands up for herself, she never tells Kang her interest in him, she never tells Bong Sam off...Well ok she did that shot at Hyun-ah at the restaurant, but she needs to come out of her shell more, we'll see.

Actually, I think Mi-Ok is starting to come out of her shell slowly. She did tell Bong Sam off at the stairwell, remember? (where she punched him and pushed him out of her way after he suggested that she quit LK). Also, she did something for herself. Instead of passively accepting her termination, she decided to protest in the LK lobby and draw attention to the plight of temporary employees like her. I would classify that as standing up for herself. Plus, yeah, she is feisty with Hyun Ah even though she knows the latter has clout with the company since she is the daughter of the President.

I don't think Mi-Ok has interest in Kang Ho yet. I think that she's gradually seeing the goodness in Kang Ho's character (when she recalled that Kang Ho was by her side as she protested the first day). So for her to say anything to Kang Ho about her feelings is a bit premature at this point. I think she has just started to notice him but not at the point where she has romantic interest in him already.

So today in Ep. 8 Kang gets his 2nd award this time from the construction Dept much to BS' chagrin.
Mr.Song has decided to take over as BS' mentor, he also knows that BS is an independent stock broker on the side and that is how he has financed his apt. and fancy car.

I love when Hyun-ah tries to do her trampy karaoke act to win over Kang at the bar. I was wishing she would fall off of the table as she was dancing. Later as she tried to make the smooth move on him at the hotel all she gets is knocked on the head and passes out on the floor. The next day I love that Director Koo says to Kang who is still wearing his medal "what did you win an olympic medal?" Poor Kang. Later we get to see Min wearing it, as usual he is jealous of Kang.

I felt very bad for Mi-ok after she was let go from her temp contract. She is pretty gutsy to try to picket to get her job back. I am glad Kang tried to help her, everyone else just made fun of her. I thought it was sweet that Kang went back that night to check on her and make sure she ate . Of course BS feels bad too late as usual and goes and sees Mi-ok and Kang eating and laughing. He then gets his ego brusied again while having an argument later with Hyun-ah. At least Mi-ok is starting to notice Kang in a different light. I don't think Mi-ok is as lame as the chick from Secret , Mi-ok may be a bit of a cryer but she has stood up for herself a few times so far. She punched BS, she has argued with Hyun-ah a few times, and now is trying to fight for her livelyhood.

Gosh, I think it's a huge deal that Mi-Ok is picketing for her job in the company lobby, it seems like that would be outrageous behavior for someone so low on the totem pole as a temp! No wonder none of the other temps are supporting her down there, they're too afraid to rock the boat. Only clueless Kang charges in to do what he thinks is right because he has no political radar whatsoever!

One thing they did that I love is the corporate posters everywhere in the backgrounds - offices, lunch rooms, even in the elevators - of kids and even baby seals! Probably promoting LK's position as a leading global citizen, blah blah blah. Hilarious detail.

I watched episode 9 last night and was disappointed to see Mi-Ok's picketing concept flopped. I sorta expected Kang to save the day again with lots of people joining the crusade and the higher-ups get pressured into some union or deal with Mi-ok to have her stay.

Her transformation in an instant...I'm not sure I found that part totally believable. It's like bam, she changes herself overnight. But it looks like she'll finally start to speak up for herself more. Also it's apparent that she knows she hurt Kang's feelings after she declined his invite and went to meet Bong Sam. Then she returns and sees him in front of her house. She says nothing then or the next day. I want to shake some sense into this girl sometimes. ;)

Kang on the other hand, it looks like his status is crumbling. More and more people are either pressuring him or finding out he did poorly on the test. Kim and Director Koo are so heartless, especially last night. Remember near the end where Song held a meeting to get their thoughts and he was pressuring Kang for more specifics, he barked back at him saying he was picking on him? I didn't find that to be the case personally, it seemed like he was honestly trying to get more information about his idea. Also it looks like Moon is sticking up for and helping out Kang while Kang is in his lowest moments. It's nice to see. Yesterday's episode was one of those ones where the adversities are starting to compound itself, and Kang is more and more feeling like a fish out of water. Regardless of what they say, I still find it odd that the company keeps forgetting he saved them a lot of money with the Construction debaccle, not to mention the orders he pulled in.

Yeah, I'm puzzled by Mi-Ok's overnight transformation too. Like I said earlier, if she knows how to fix herself up nicely in the 1st place, why did she choose to look so dowdy before? Had she always presented an attractive appearance, maybe she could have become a permanent employee a long time ago. I have to say the episode where the boys go nuts over Mi-Ok's makeover is the funniest ever!!! I laughed so hard when they both ran for the elevator to follow her and Mr. Song. Those scenes of Bong Sam and Ho talking were precious!! I do have to say that Mi Ok is irritating me more and more. She's so passive, ugh! Now that she's made over on the outside the girl's gotta work on the inside with a near total personality makeover! It would have been so much funnier to have someone less pathetic and more spunky like Ji Eun in Full House!
