Didn't Ms. Chang already say that Peen's dad was another designer? That she had left him when he was taking credit for her designs and wouldn't let her go to Milan? The Gen. owed her a favor from the begining when she let the fashion show go on so he could try to save his village. I think they all just call each other brother and sister, DY said he was looking for his sister when he went to the orphanage to try to track down JH.

Yeah you're right pooka, Peen's dad was another fashion designer. I believe this was brought up in either episode 14 or 15. When Peen and the mom had the fight. She explained to him why she treated him so poorly when he was a child.

Oh yeah, you're right! How could I forget that fight scene between Chang Bong Sil and Peeny? I have to admit that I am really hooked now and am a little bit ahead. I'll be very careful not to spill the beans. I have to say the acting in this drama has been really good!! I am very impressed.

ohhhhhMG, who expected this drama to be so romantic? Not me! That episode 16! Whoo-hooie! DY's face, oy! Just thinking about how DY has been loving and protecting JH (the real JH) since they were tiny children and all these warring circumstances still couldn't keep them apart, ohhhhh. And they still don't even know who the other really is! Of course, more will come to separate them again, I know! It's a K-drama, for heaven's sake. I reminds me of Phoenix because I feel bad for all four main characters (remember when it was still possible to feel a little sorry for MiRan?) Poor Peen! And now he and DY will go off on the dangerous mission to HK with their lives in each other's hands and once he finds out about DY and JH, Peen certainly will want DY dead, to some degree. Oh boy, conflicts on the biggest scale! This is great!

I watched episode 17 last night and thought it was excellent.

Maybe bbstl would have more knowledge about this...but the dress Kang Hee made for Tumy (real JH) looked like some window draping only. Tumy is soooo skiny too. She looked like a twig in it. LOL

Ep 17 concluded with DY's father punching him in front of Tumy. Ep 18 tonight should be quite interesting!

I said it in the General thread but I'll say it here too. This series really reminds me of the great classics of american cinema of the 40s-60s. I really love how this is being presented and how the time period is being portrayed. It feels almost 60s-ish in more respects.

This series is so ggod I almost can't believe it. I am so hooked on the story ,and I care so much what happens to the characters! I gues DY's assignment got post poned because Bin is now his partner ,and he needs training. Pt 16 was extremely romantic ( I stand by my earlier statement about Kdramas )!
In some way ,I almost was rooting for Bin with Duomei ,because I feel so sorry for Bin,and he is finally caring for someone.But I think that DY & Duomei are fated because ,even though they don't know it ,she is JunHee. When I saw that DY was wearing that bullet around his neck -well that was it.
I can't be angry with Kanghee for concealing the truth about Duomei either.I pity her almost as much as I do Bin. One of the most fascinating scenes was the rainy night when Kanghee thought she recognized JunHee,but Junhee can't remember.She must have traumatic amnesia from that event ...no wonder ,but I wonder whats going to happen with that .
Well I'm into PT 17 and got to (WANT to ) go back .
I have 3 more comments .
I can't decide if DY is more handsome shaven or unshaven emoticon

I hope the guys get kicked out of whatever secret organization they are part of . I don't want them to get hurt !!!!!!!!

KUDOS to whoever picked out this series for us to watch !!!!!!!

I'll take partial credit for that. Pooka mentioned she just bought it and I then questioned if we could possibly use F70s for this viewing after Super Rookie. Soon bbstl chimed in with interest too, and that as they say was that. ;)
Luckily pooka mentioned she just bought it or we wouldn't have been here right now, she was also as usual, on top of which box set to get. emoticon

One thing I just remembered that I don't understand, I think it was from ep17. Remember after DY ditched the president's meeting, when he went to work the next day, their offices were trashed and his boss blamed him? Who did that, the men in black suits following him earlier? What I don't understand is, what does his meeting with Tumy that night have anything to do with them following him to work. The boss blamed him for going out with a girl right? Plus if he did not meet with Tumy, he would have been at the president's residence anyway away from work - where the spies could have gotten in and done the same thing anyway. I do not understand the reasoning of that story point. No matter what DY would have done, I do not see how the result would have been different. Plus if they spies know about them already, why are they still there doing the same thing? Shouldn't they move or do something since it looks like their covers are blown?

I agree <SR ,you make a good point about the place when it was ransacked.When I saw that ,I immediately thought " OH NO !Thier covers are blown ",and started getting scared for Dongying & Bin.
I finished ep 18 ,so am totally caught up . I made myself stop because it is 3/18 ,and I want to stay on schedule- if only to savor this story .

The scene between Kanghee & her mom on the front steps was so emotional I got quite choked up. I think the mom is gonna have a heart attack or something ,so I wish the truth would come out.Of course ,it will especially now that she's run into Duomei again .

I'm thinking I'll order the OST as well when I order MNIKSS ! I better get on that pronto .

I want to order the OST when I get MNIKSS also. I am thinking of getting Emperor of the Sea's OST also. I'm a little upset that now that I'm finally going to get it from YesAsia, they stop the buy a Kdrama, pay $2.99 for an OST offer. I don't really care for the magazine. emoticon

In the meantime, while you wait for the OST to arrive, you can download the soundtrack from the link I provided above. ;)

I'm going to watch episode 18 tonight.
