Always Current Discussions of Different K-Dramas: K-DRAMA VIDEO CLUB!
sorry for my misleading information on Momo; last time I tried to order it I could only get it in Spanish or German unless I got it from England.
Can you believe you saw that kiss in a Korean Drama? And initiated by a girl? I thought I'd pass out! I think KSS continues to have more feelings develop for JH. He finally asked tons of questions about her the night at the piano, she got to tell big chunks of her life story - and that's one good way to make a girl like you in a hurry (SR, take note). But he's still pretty inscrutable: did he ask because she's just becoming more of an important person in his life and he cares? because she's an important part of his restaurant family, which he cares about and needs to keep happy (and that is his true family)? Did he pull her toward him in that first embrace just to torture/tease her again? Was it just the liquor added to the rare moment of shared intimacy for him that fogged his thinking?

...The chicks from the resturant have come up with a great list of reasons why they can't meet good guys while they are out drinking. I was laughing at each reason they had. So funny!!...Yes, they are funny reasons, LOL!
1. Good men are ugly.
2. Cute guys have lousy personalities.
3. Cute guys with good character are married.
4. Cute guys with good character and single are poor.
5. Cute, good character, single and rich guys aren't interested in us.
6. Cute, good character, single, rich and interested in us...those guys are
players.
7. Cute, good character, single, rich guys who are interested in us and are
not players are gays.
(They can't count because they're drunk so the next one is #10.)
10. Cute, good character, single, rich and interested in us, not a player nor
gay, guys whom we can make a move at and still like us, guys like
that...where is the problem? There's gotta be some problem somewhere.

--- I do as I please.

Here's some more contextual info from fendercat's post on the MNIKSS thread, pg. 24 as re: ep. 2:
53:47) The soup KSS is eating was 'clotted cow blood soup' which is known to be good for cure hangover so no wonder HJH was so freaked out seeing her eating it...I thought JH was disgusted with the way Samsoon ate and how she poured all the red hot sauce from the pickled dish into the soup. That alone looked pretty gross to me, not knowing it was clotted cow blood soup.Have you ever had "heh jang gook" anyone? My father, as usual, tricked me into eating it in '82 on a mountaintop in Taegu. He told me, hey, eat this it's good for you. It's beef soup. So I start eating it and it's incredibly delicious, filled with hearty vegetables in a spicy broth, but then I notice these jellied dark brown pieces floating in the soup. "What's that?" I ask him. Oh, that is "pee" which means BLOOD in Korean. I spit up, Sam Soon style, and almost pass out. The next day and every day for the next two weeks my father insists on taking us there for breakfast (hey he's Korean and torture=good parenting) After boycotting the soup for 3 days and starving until lunch, I finally relent and try it again, picking the jellied bits out of the soup. It wasn't so bad and it started to look like a delicious vegetable soup after about 30 minutes of picking out the jellies. By the end of my trip, I was hooked on this soup. I hope this place is still there because I'd love to visit it someday.

Re: Always Current Discussions of Different K-Dramas: K-DRAMA VIDEO CLUB!
pflfan, the 10 reasons about men is really funny. somehow parts of it are true!
i think the kiss was so sweet. In the making, when KSA, HB and the director was viewing that scene, they were so quiet. KSA got shy and asked them to speak up! They agreed it was not exactly the most romantic kiss. But i think it was romantic. Did you see how red HB was in the kiss scene? Before the shot he looked normal but during ... he turned so red!
I read somewhere that SS did put chilli powder in the book unlike the drama. Hmmm wonders what happens if she did.
My fav lines were when they confront each other the next day ....
Sam Soon - "It's my fault to be sitting next to a wolf
on a rainy day."
Sam Shik - "Attracting a wolf on a rainy day...are you a fox?"
Sam Soon - "A fox doesn't go around attracting just any
wolf."
Sam Shik - "Same with wolves"
Sam Soon- "You are the one who wants to teach me piano. Doesnt that make you a wolf?"
Sam Shik - "A woman drinks alone, that makes you a fox. Next time dont drink alone. It looks like you are saying 'come over and comfort me'"
I really want to chuck him a pillow in his face!
