addie! Yah, I shrieked and laughed so loud at your proposal that I set off the beeping key ring buried somewhere in the closet that's supposed to respond to high-pitched whistling! (someone's idea of a fun gag gift). Disneyland, here I come!

Can you believe how much was packed into Ep. 7? The hilarious catfight. JH announcing he can't stand to see KSS talking to other men, waaaaaat? The fun about KSS's stomach. JH's emotional confession about the accident, finally getting that massive weight off his chest to someone he can trust. Tender moments between JH and KSS, including him saying that one day they should climb Mt. Halla together as he did with his late brother. KSS takes the leap and tells JH "I've come to care for you" and still he leaves her by the side of the road to go back to Hee Jin. Henry finally gets the cat out of the bag about Hee Jin's cancer. JH and Hee Jin appear reconciled while KSS and Henry struggle to converse, hilariously and touchingly. And finally an emotional KSS is alone at the Cheju airport leaving a last message for an unresponsive JH, this time sharing the story of her own worst emotional experience, her father's death. Crying, she thanks JH for sharing the the story of the accident with her.

The long wait has been rewarded, we know why Hee Jin left, what happened to Mi Joo's parents and why she stopped talking, and why JH has built such strong walls around his emotions and believes he "doesn't deserve" to feel happiness.

Even worse, SR, it's a love square, of course! Don't forget Henry, he's still in the mix.

I got the impression that once she dumped him in episode 7 convincingly that it was over over. But don't tell me! I'll just watch and enjoy it as it comes. emoticon

I just watched episode 8 a little early. I'll post some thoughts about it when some of you have seen it. I too can't stop watching, but I will and keep on schedule. One thing the Fashion 70s thing taught me is to enjoy dramas in daily doses. Getting spoiled and watching 3-5 in a row loses the enjoyment over the long period.

Anyway I really liked Episode 8, but I'm so tempted to see the next one. The hospital scene got to me. Very sweet scene, but more on that later....Patience for the next 24 hours will be tough until episode 9.

Well I am on EST so I'm not keeping my mouth shut! This was a five Kleenex night as I suspected it might be. I grabbed by Kleenex WITH LOTION (thank you for the suggestion) How sad that he dropped her in a second, but he was good to take her to the hospital and stand by her. I really thought HJ might be pulling something but it seems that his mother just cannot stand the pain of losing some other family member again. Very selfish on her part and I truly feel for Hee Jin now.

I got misty-eyed when KSS told JH her feelings inside the elevator. I was proud of her that she kicked him on the shins after she dropped off the food she made for him then retracted her words that she liked him. I also sympathize with Hee-jin.

I cried with Hee Jin too and when KSS woke up at the hospital saying "don't go" but cried the most when she was talking to her dad at the soju joint. This really was an episode of tears, Sam-Soon cried and cried, Hee Jin and Mi-Joo sobbed and even President Nah cried. I think part of her reason for rejecting Hee Jin is her own pain but I'd like to think it's also trying to keep JH and Mi-Joo from more future pain if Hee Jin relapses. She would have made the promise to Hee Jin and sent her to the US fully expecting HJ to die there, given the odds.

On the lighter side, how about that Mom? Whoever thought of putting "Paint it Black" under that fight scene in the restaurant is comic genius!

Yeah,I really enjoyed this episode .It was very touching -loved the scene with her dad . I have to say ,even though JH's mom is a battleaxe ,I can kind of see her point >there has been so much heartbreak for this family ! That being said ,I don't like the way she is treating HeeJin , and I don't think she can legislate who JH loves . I also didn't like seeing little Mi Jo cry . I'm gonna need some soju pretty soon !

BTW ,should the "Spoony Men Parade " be part of the convention ?

I know I am late to post this but I had to wait until my head quit hurting from crying from the last eps of Goodby to Sadness and then SS makes me cry all over again! Good thing I had already stared drinking Soju before I saw this eps.

Just couple of things to mention from this ep. I though it was pretty funny how JH keeps trying to get rid of Henry at the hospital, trying to find out how much longer his vacation is and then tries to pay for his trip to China. LOL!

Poor SS getting up at dawn making food and taking it to JH thinking he is sick. Now he lives in the Daewoo Trump World II according to the name on the door of the place, why can't they paint the hallways? His hallway has chipping paint and it looks like an institution! So SS sees that HJ has spent the night and leaves but she does come back and remind him of the 6th clause(no two-timing) and gives him the kick in the shins!! Good for her!! Also when she slaps him in the elevator, did anyone see how red his face was! I wonder how many takes they had to film to get it right, poor HB! I love SS's sister Yi-Young , she just jumps right in at the hospital and tells JH not to mess with her sister's feelings again and gives him yet another good kick in the shins and leaves! The talk between SS and her dad was so touching she is so confused about everthing and he is there to try to help her.

Well Addie I live very close to Disneyland so that sounds like a good idea. The parade sound great! We can start lining up Spoony men to be involved! I am working out all of the details in the script. I will be ready to pitch it! emoticon
