Well B I took the comment "People go on living even though they know they are going to die" as well you have to go on do what you have to do because you never know what is going to happen. HJ is trying to talk him out of leaving to go to SS with her well you will be doomed to end like this to and you still want to go to her speech and in his heart he knows he has to do just that no matter how it turns out for him. He can't just stay where he is because he has to be with SS and just like life who knows what will happen next but you have to move foreward to find out.

I love the whole Mt Halla bit with JH waiting for her and bringing her the soup. When he tells her with that smirk on his face "drink up you will need the energy later" I just burst out laughing . Ok SS is crazy for turning down JH with her I have to loose 15 lbs excuse. Extra fat or not I would have been a way easier catch than her! LOL!! So Mrs. Nah has found her match in SS's mom! Mom wasn't going to back down for her and told her that her son was a jerk!

Henry and JH trying to out manly each other was pretty funny. I think JH feels better leaving HJ with him now that he knows how Henry feels about HJ for sure. Poor SS has to deal with both Chae Ri and HW in one day. First CR shows up and "antiques" (when you throw flour on someone and they look old, white hair , etc.) SS and the HW shows up sad about CR breaking up with him. At least SS gave HW just what he deserves!

So HJ found out the hard way don't ask "Is something wrong" if you really don't want to know the answer! This was a great ep.

bbstl, pooka : i found the comment "People go on living even though they know they are going to die" quite a poignant. as pooka said, HJ was tryin to dissuade him from going to SS. As in ep 4 or 5, she was telling about the hormones fading away ... so he was tryin to tell her that everyone knows one day they will die but try to live the best they can. It goes to show he is willing to take the risk and live life based on what he wants now. Not in the past.

Pity HJ ... i mean she really loved him i guess. But Henry was right ... she was the only who seems to be stuck in the past while everyone has moved on. I guess 3 years without any contact really can hurt a relationship.

I really love how JH answers HJ when she asked him if he loves SS:

JH: I keep thinking about her. I miss her. I'm very happy when I'm with her.

Was hoping he said yes! emoticon

How about everyone else?Your interpretation was a new angle to me... hadn't thought of it that way. Like some of the others, I took it as a statement that everybody dies but we live life anyway. The other way around, because we know we will one day die, should we just plunk ourselves down and not live...like, what's the use...I'm just going to die sometime anyway....

Even so, there was something awkward about that statement so, in one sense, I kinda have to agree that something didn't seem right about it. Maybe we lost something in translation....

Poor HJ, figured this out a couple of episodes ago but when he wanted to answer , she would quickly change the subject because she doesn't want to face the truth. In true drama fashion, he cannot come out and say that he loves her because there would be nothing for us to look forward to in later episodes!

I love how when they finally fell asleep in the hotel they woke up with their hands and legs all intertwined.

Thanks, everyone! Hee Jin was trying to use it as a selling point : how you feel now about KSS will fade to be just like we are now, so you might as well stay with me. And his response says nope, that would be like saying I'm just gonna lay myself down and die, stop growing, stop welcoming newness into my life. That's what he did for three years, and now he's found KSS and he's done with being dead. Profound, indeed. I love this show.

wasn't that too funny when the two Moms are out in the street glaring at each other and they played that music like it was a standoff in a Western, only on an asian instrument? It's so touching to see such a practical Mom who says - yah! our families are too different, my girl's life would be miserable if she married into your household and no way I want that for her! A mom who doesn't just have Cinderella aspirations for her daughter to marry up, but sees what life will be like after the fairy-tale wedding.

I don't know how KSS could say no to Sam Sik under the circumstances, especially if she woke up intertwined like that! They must have been super late for their flight to keep things from getting romantic the next day, that's my explanation!
One tiny thing that I just love is on the plane when Sam Sik assumes KSS will come back to work and she says, oh no - Yi Young and I are opening our own business. He looks incredulous and says in this funny high voice, "shop??" in english, it just cracks me up.

When SS's mom said "inn keeper" was particularly funny because she realized that heon's mom is some bigshot.

I'm surprised she didn't act like the PFL mother though and was dazzled by their wealth. I mean she was constantly bagging on SS for not being able to find a guy, now SS possibly found out, and a rich one at that!

But as I've said before, I think heon's mom is hilarious. She fits that matriarchal powerful role perfectly. Does anyone know if she's in any other K-Dramas?
