Agreed. Episode 14 was one of my favorites in this series. I loved the top #7 things for SS to do when she got a boyfriend. Those whole gamut of scenes were hilarious and charming. Lol those baby names they came up with are really out there! The whole scene where Heon tries to get the mother's approval was good too. It's funny how she really turned around so quickly to like him. After the whole fighting, interrogation, karaoke scenes she went to watch him sleep and became enamored with him.

Yes the whole scene where he goes after HJ to take care of her is needlessly confrontational. He could have told SS about it, it would have taken all but 2 minutes. But instead SS now sees them together at the elevator going up to his room as she tries to go back down. Now there will be perhaps the final drama arc before the ending? These people are so bad at communication. Then again, where would the drama and spice be in K-Dramas if everyone was a straightshooter. ;)

Oh and they finally fixed the chipping/wall problems outside the hallway to Heon's room. Looks like Trump diverted some of his hairspray funds to getting those issues fixed. lol!

Can't wait to see tonight's episode. Only 2 more to go, it feels so short, I don't want it to end.

By the way what are the "extras" in the final disc?

Oh yes, another question, remember the music in the early parts of the episode where heon was breaking up with hee jin? Does anyone know if that song with female vocals is on either album? It sounds like the singer in the fashion 70s track 012Red Nine Blue - Nuh Wa Na Geu Lee Go Ah Peun Sarang Eh Choo Uk.

Oddly enough, I find Hyunbin so attractive/sexy with the tie around his head and untucked shirt. It could be the untucked shirt, LOL! JH really loosened up. Hyunbin is funnnnnyyyyy! I hope he takes a comedic role again next time. It suits him well.

Interesting point you make, Pooka and SR, about the baby names. There was a lot of commentary that MNIKSS included tons of jokes about current shows, celebrities, events, etc. so I wonder if that was a little poke at Mr. Superstar Rain, LOL?

SR, the Extras are 2 episodes of Jewel in the Palace. Nothing fun like MNIKSS outtakes and interviews, bummer! If they're smart they'll release something like that this summer for the 1-yr anniversary! I'll buy it.

Does anyone know what was in that giant jar that KSS's mom had on the table and what was its significance?

No, I don't. What was that jar? I just assumed it was Kimchi since they were discussing burrying kimchi jars for pickling or whatever kimchi is ... during that interrogation.

What was it/its significance?

Fendercat didn't mention the jar, I guess no one asked about it at the time. I was thinking the things inside looked like eggs! Yuck. I assumed they were going to drink from it also but the liquid looked dark and they drank something that didn't look dark - blah, blah, blah, clearly I've had way too much time to think about that jar! How did the liquid from the jar get into the teapot? I know, I know, it doesn't matter! Oh, SR, it wasn't kimchee, though - that doesn't look like things floating in liquid, it looks solid and reddish around leafy stuff.

I assumed it was some sort of pickled thing, I assumed kimchi, but I don't know much about kimchi. I was under the assumption it was some pickled related food item. I should read up on it soon. ;)

I still am interested in finding out the relevance/importance of that during the interrogation process though.

Maybe buppy will know or addie can find out for us about the stuff in the jar. I agree, whatever it is must be pickling or marinating or stewing - ??? A little scary! SR, why not go to an asian food store and get a couple of kinds of kimchee to try? You can also get bulgogi marinade for beef that you can then grill or broil at home if there's not a korean restaurant nearby. And you'll need some soju to wash it down, of course!

Excellent suggestions. I was planning on doing either once the weather gets better. We've been getting horrendous storms here. The last 90-95% of days since feb. has been either nonstop snow, ice or rain.

It looks like spring will be hitting at last and our temperatures will be going up by 30 degrees next week. Which should give me the opportunity to do some specialty shopping one of those days.

The weather is frightful today, but hey, that gives me the chance to stay in tonight and wait for MNIKSS Ep. 15. emoticon
