pooka that too of course. I mean he's a cool divisive character and plays an important role as the instigator. But he's a jerk of a character. He keeps putting down and hitting Ho Kang below the belt like telling him he's hard up for money, or when they made fun of him in the first episode bathroom scene.

I'm rooting for Ho Kang. emoticon

BS is totally a jerk , but I love the interacton between him and Kang. One of my favorite scenes is the one in the LK meeting for the new trainees and Kang's phone rings but he looks over at BS and then everyone looks at BS , I love the looks they keep exchanging. In the NG segment they have a bunch of the outtakes where they are trying to make the serious faces to each other and they keep cracking each other up! Of course even I am rooting for Kang. GL you better hope Eric doesn't find out you like him or he will be trying to kiss you next. LOLOL!!!

pooka I don't swing that way - only the opposite sex (ladies) for me. :P I like him as a character/actor.

I haven't seen the outtakes dvd yet, for fear I might get a storyline spoiler. I plan to watch it after I finish watching the series.

Episode 6 was hilarious. I love all the antics going on at the office.

When Bong Sam and Hyun ah were being introduced to the administrative department. The lady, Ae-ri Nah, who was going after Bong Sam and Ho Kang wouldn't shake the hand of Hyun ah, only Bong sam's. When she extended her hand to Ae-ri Nah, she didn't shake but just said nice to meet you.

Then "detective moon" was going around the office spying on Director Koo because he thought Ho Kang is the illegitimate son of the CEO from what he heard in the bathroom. Now Moon, is trying to kiss up to Ho Kang. Hilarious!

The rivalry and power plays between Mr Kim and Mr Song are great to watch.

The other scene where Ho Kang and his ex were at that bar, and she got into a fight with the two ladies who run the bar. She called one of the owners "fatso." LOL!

Mi-Ok is so weak so far. It's obvious she has feelings for both Ho Kang and Bong Sam yet she won't do anything. She's just there always pouting. Reminds me of the main character from Secret...so far.

I'm having a blast watching this series so far, pure fun!

Super Rookie Episode 6

I'm also having a blast watching Super Rookie again. I laughed out loudly the first time I saw it and I'm still cracking up at some of the scenes the second time around.

Looks like Kang Ho is starting to take interest in Mi-Ok. He made sure Mi-Ok heard that the woman (his ex-gf) he was meeting at The Secretary is not his girlfriend.

I don't get the relationship between Bong Sam and Hyun Ah. In an early episode, they appeared to have an intimate relationship. Now they act like there's nothing between them. Is it because Bong Sam declared this when they were at a bar in ep 4? Why did he say that, anyway? I guess I should re-watch ep 3.

My assessment of Mi-Ok's feelings is this: Kang Ho is starting to endear himself to Mi-Ok because of his kindness towards her, but then Mi-Ok is still hurting from her old relationship with Bong Sam. It seems Mi-Ok's feelings of self-pity and heartbreak are gradually being replaced by feelings of contempt towards Bong Sam. I liked it when she gave Bong Sam a K-punch by the stairwell, then shoved him out of her way as she walked past him. That last move was actually funny.Image

Hey bb, did you notice in ep 3 after Mi-Ok agreed to man the bar so one of the bar ajuhmas can go to the hospital, Mi-Ok was watching Tropical Nights in December on the bar's TV?

Does anyone know if/where we can get a full cast list? I would love to know who played Mr. Moon on this series. I thought he did a really good job.

Oh poor Mi-ok showing up to work with the bar ladies' makeover! I love that Dir. Koo looks at her and says "What's with your face?" Nice!

I did feel bad for Kang who thinks he is working on a top secret project with District Manager Kim and Dir. Koo. But Mr. Moon has hunted him down and will now try to find out what is going on. I was sad for him when everyone was going to their new hire parties and he was left alone.

Good for Mi-ok for smacking BS and shoving him out of her way, he looked scared of her. He is a bit of a wussie. And the temps have figured out that Mi-ok used to date BS.

I was hoping the bar ladies would get to smack Kang's ex around a bit, but she escaped with out getting hurt. She was pretty brave to call them old ladies and say they were disgusting.

Well it looked like Mi-ok was finally going to be nice to Kang outside her apt. but then she saw that Huyn-ah had dropped him off and left before he saw her. The next day she did find the note where Kang had written that she was BS ' ex and if you notice the drawing of BS had huge ears!! (BB and Cap I can hear you laughing now!!)

Pooka, thanks for illuminating the details of Kang's drawing of BS and what he wrote about Mi Ok. I was confused about that! I wasn't sure what Mi Ok was so astonished about! That bar makeover was hilarious!!! The bright red cheeks and lips and bright blue eyeshadow. Ha ha ha ha! I think it's great that she gets to smack BS a little on the show. He totally deserved it.
I don't know where to find a cast list. Let me see if the original Superrookie thread has one...

Nice job, pfl! I wasn't going to mention that minute detail, especially since the "Tropical Nights" on the TV in the bar was only a scene with the (star) woman, blah, blah, blah, and no KNJ or KSS.
Also, once again Captiva and I are in alignment, as I think Mr. Moon is the cutest guy in this cast and he's my favorite character (being somewhat underplayed).
I think Hyun Ah is completely driven by vanity. She has to have all the guys adore her, (even the old guys) so she can't stand it that BS thinks he's broken it off, or even semi-broken it off, or that he might still have some feelings for Mi-Ok. HA plays a zero-sum game, it all has to be hers with none for anyone else. BS is driven by by vanity and ambition but has about 5% real feelings still left. So that's why he's occasionally nice to someone or seems to want Mi-Ok again but also had to tell HA that "there's nothing between us" after she snubbed him at the bar (his pride can't take another blow like that). Their relationship is confusing because they're people without depth.

Super Rookie Episode 7

I watched episode 7 of Super Rookie last night, but was I ever tempted to watch 8 as well, but I must pace myself and follow the schedule.. ;)

Episode 7 may just be my favorite one yet. I was cracking up so much last night.

One of the first scenes where Mr Song discovers Ho Khang alone and transplants him to the administrative department (Mr Song's scenes are hilarious he's like the evil mastermind you like to hate and know that he's always gonna stir up something). Director Koo's reaction to that was priceless. This show has the best facial expressions ever! Just seeing all their surprised and funny faces has me in stitches.

The other scene with Kim going to Mr Song's office was also fun with the whole hemmorhoids bit, LOL.

Ae-ri Nah constantly dumping her work to Hyun-ah is also funny.

The scene after that has Bong Sam pretty much destroying all of Moon's allusions about Ho Kang. Bong Sam is such a wet blanket. His jealousy and rivalry with HK always makes him looking for every measure to cut him down.

The next big moment in the show was how HK resolved the dispute at the Construction site. What exactly did he do? He got a call while he was at his friends house from (Gweng Pil from Prince's First Love, forgot his name here?) I'm assuming HK, Min, GP and Sung tae beat up the leader of the gang?

Side note, the scenes where Sung tae is tutoring Min are hilarious. Min kept repeating Wine is Clear over and over and over and over. Not to mention when Min is wearing that Hair clip. LOL
