Magneto49--it's so good to see you online again. I agree with you that what keeps me from liking Ki-woong more is his apparent "immaturity." You are correct that in Korean culture Ki-woong is being way too familiar with people at work. It's almost as if he isn't Korean at all--he doesn't seem to know the boundaries. I think it's important when looking at these dramas to consider their cultural backgrounds, because I know sometimes I react to situations on these dramas from my American culture. For example, I often hated mother-in-laws on these shows and wonder why anyone would listen to those women. What I find interesting in this show is how K's mom seems to be totally disrespected by her daughter--so maybe both Ki-woong and his sister are not very Korean. Anyway that's my thoughts.

Hello everyone! I'm new here, and I live New Jersey. So, I'm familiar with the fact that I am behind some of you. I've watched The Bizzarre Bunch for quite awhile, and lemme tell ya......it's great.

First off, I'm left off at episode 21. This is where Kiwoong discovers Jongnam and where Sukhyun and Haein become an official couple.

I'm dying to have Sukhyun and Jongnam together. I just find alot of chemistry between them. It kind of aggravates me to find Haein with him though because I feel she's not the type to let him loose, or as I call it, break from his shell. As for Jongnam, I see she is able to do that with her spunk and bad temper. I just find Haein and Sukhyun too similar. Jongnam and Sukhyun's attitudes contrast and complete each other. Jongnam is able to make Sukhyun yell, while Haein makes no difference. He seems closed, and too quiet. I only find his character enjoyable around Jongnam.

Kiwoong and Haein. WOW. I love Kiwoong to death. He's so adorable and kind. Haein....I find her....blegh. No offense but I believe Kiwoong deserves a better woman than Haein. My opinion will most likely change later in the series.

Well, that's about it for me. All my feelings about the show bottled up in a summary. Well of course not all of it. I just concentrated on the main characters.

What episode are you SoCal folks at? Here in Chi, we have fallen behind, since ch28 shut down for a week to metamorphize into ch41 (an FCC issue). We are at about ep 6.

I have been forging ahead watching the VOD's (I'm up to about ep 20), and have been coming here for explanation about things I didn't get, due to lack of subs.

I have heard that some stations out there have the same editing problem that we do here. I have adopted a system of watching a recording of the Over-the-Air broadcast, while simultaneously watching the VOD for the same ep, pausing the recording when the two go out of sync, and punching back in when the VOD gets to the point of the edit.

It's sort of helpful to see what I missed, but often it's just characters talking, and I have almost no idea what they're saying emoticon

Hello! I was out of touch regarding this series for about a week since christmas but I have recorded monday thru wednesday eps. Last night I watched it all. Nothing too startling happened that I might get a shock. After reading your postings, I'm happy to find out that a lot of you are rooting for Sukhyun/Jongnam and Kiwoong/Haein pairing. Hooray!!! So Sukhyun has a heart and conscience since he's concerned with his uncle's (K-dad) misfortune and Jongnam's effort to pay him back with all her earnings for a fake watch. I like the improvement in his behaviour. What I'm looking forward to is Kiwoong's moment in the sun by doing something that would promote him from his job or be rewarded for having a brilliant idea. Then all those office mates of his will not look down on him and Haein will take a second look at him.

I am really enjoying the discussion !
I really think that Sukyun needs to be with Jungnam..he's starting to come alive around her, Right now,I am not happy with KXLA's editing of last night's ep.How did S & J end up on a bus ? Why was S standing on the bus collecting money ? That bothers me. The rest of the scenes were enjoyable.I had to smile when K asked H if she would go ring shopping , and then ran off as if he didn't care.
Who said that K is too good for H? I am starting to agree with you ! But S & H are just too blah !!!

I also notice that K is becoming very popular w/ coworkers...
One more thing. If S turns out to be the natural son of Minsook & Jaedo ,then Jaeman & Nara should have been supporting their whole blasted family through their home shopping network !
(Ingrates....? Sheesh !) emoticon

Lol! Yes, Sukhyun and Haein are a boring couple don't you think? I have no idea why but I feel that Haein is going to turn evil in the series, I just have no idea why. I always felt uncomfortable with her character from the beginning. She seems like the nice, innocent woman everyone would liike....but that will soon change I believe.

I have a feeling that she would get jealous of Jongnam once Jongnam and Sukhyun start to hang out.

As for Kiwoong, yay! That adorable man should be popular. That man should be with a woman more beautiful and more worthy of him.

Jongnam.....my god do I love her character. She's what makes the show, her and Kiwoong.

Jongnam is by far my favorite character on the show.

If it was Sukyun & Haein, that would be a boring couple.

I also think that it will eventually be Sukyun & Jongnam. It would make the show more interesting (imagine what Sukyun's snotty mother's reaction would be!).

Yes magneto49, I agree that Sukhyun and Jongnam will be together in the end. It's just all the drama and fights that they have to go through to be together. Well, it will be very interesting to see the reactions of Nara later on. She already doesn't even like Jongnam!

I'm hoping that Nara will somehow receive a disease in the show that gets her quarantined for 40+ episodes. (I'm just joking)
