Well, guess granny will find out about Haein and Sukhyun tonite. I can't understand why the family didn't tell her immediately. Now she's gonna say something in front of everyone, making them all feel foolish. Only Nara may be able to hold her snooty head high. She will have this to lord over the 'lower class family'..

Haein is beginning to wear on my nerves. She really doesn't seem that interested in Sukhyun as a person. Just what his background and station in life represents. She would really make a good DIL to Nara. They are both similar in personality.

I can see Jongnam and Sukhyun together but not sure I can see Haein and Kiwoong as a couple. He is just too down to earth, honest and caring for her. If he does make it big, then maybe she would accept him.

Poor Jongnam. She stayed away from the party so she wouldn't upset Nara.

Doesn't Jongnam know that Haein and Sukhyun are engaged? She was talking to Haein as if Haein should not give up on Kiwoong??? And what did our haughty Haein tell her..... "We're not close enough to discuss this". Well, she does have a point there but she sure is snooty about it.

Anyone record last night's ep? If so, he may just end up being Jongnam's escort, too . . .

They're not officially engaged; they have couple rings but Nara wants to bypass engagement ceremony, go directly to wedding.

However, since the matriarch has bestowed her presence upon the party (thank goodness!), this will all be moot!

I'm not sure Haein actually 'dated' Kiwoong. She went places with him and went out to eat. He thought they were dating but she just was going places and eating out with a 'friend'. I don't think they were ever a couple from her point of view. He just misunderstood their being together. When he finally came clean with her and told her how he felt, etc., she turned him down cold. She told him why also. He had no future. She wanted more out of life than he could offer her. So I think it was an honest misunderstanding.

I was hoping she really cared for Kiwoong but aside from the couple of times the she seemed a bit jealous, I don't see her having any feelings, other than friendship with him. And when she is with him all she talks about is Sukhyun and worrying if Jongnam was interested in Sukhyun.

And I thought Sukhyun seemed very content about a speedy marriage. This is tearing my heart out because I don't want them together. When she turned her head to Sukhyun to avoid being hit by the basketball I was so upset. She seemed to look at him in a new light. As someone to protect her.

What do you all think? Is Haein's aunt invited to the b'day party? Nara was against it but I cannot wait to see the face of Sukhyun's dad if she is coming...if Haein's mom ever can convince her husband to attend. I wonder if Jongnam will change her mind and come to Sukhyun's home. If she does, whatever Nara will say...Let's see.

I don't think Haein's aunt, Okdoo, will come to the party. Byongdoo is not coming and his wife wants to come just to avoid making dinner but Byongdoo allowed her to go only after she cooks. So she said what's the use if she has to cook.

Anyway, I'm visualizing a fight between grandma and Nara. Kiwoong will be in a very embarrassing situation to have to explain his one-sided love affair. Also, Haein will be put on the spot if someone mentioned the trip to Jedu. But why is it that in all K-drama I have seen, it is always important to please someone specially parents or elders rather than tell the truth. Koreans seems favor hiding the truth in order to please or not to offend parents or elders which results to misunderstanding. But the truth comes always and the end result is shock or embarrassment.

I also wonder if S will miss J at the party.

I think Kiwoong must have mentioned something to Jongnam about liking Haein (maybe). But my question is... Doesn't Jongnam KNOW that Haein and Sukhyun are engaged? She acts like she doesn't know. And then when she was asking Haein about why she broke it off with Kiwoong, I thought, "would she mention any of that if she knew Haein was engaged to Sukhyun?".... I'm not too sure I have all the facts about this. Maybe it was one of the episodes I missed.

If I were out having a fireworks date with some guy, I'd know if he were wearing a ring.... I think she does know but why is she bringing up Kiwoong to Haein?

Before J approached Haien ,I heard a voice (which I thought was Daejungs-K s sister ) saying "they were so in love ". All J knows is what K has told her,and she has put 2+2 together .

I believe S& H are "promised " but NOT yet engaged .

I'm liking Haien less & less ! I want K to be happy ,but without major overhaul ,she is NOT good enough for him.

I don't blame J for skipping the party ,but there she is again-getting the short end of the stick !

I sure wish Ii thought Okdoo & Haien's parents were going to this party...but Ii think the writers are going to hold on to that situation for a while.

All I know about tonight is -it will be embarassing with grandma there !
