I just watched Episode 46 (I never keep track of episode numbers, but for some reason, I remembered this number vividly since I just watched the rest of it minutes ago)... Nara was trying to "order" Sukhyun as well as, later, Haein to fire Jongnam... for what?! for merely bumping into her... ha! Loved how Sukhyun and Haein had to refuse b/c there was no good reason for firing Jongnam. This is the same epidsode where Sukhyun and Jongnam watched fireworks together and Kiwoong's dad finally told Minsook and Grandmother that he is officially a taxi cab driver.

let see wat will happen todai...it's getting interesting...I vividly remembered that someone was asking these questions (above) and, sure enough, tonight's episode (#46) covered these questions' answers!

(1) Kiwoong's younger sister had visited Jongnam at the restaurant/carry-out she works at with Kiwoong's aunt. Younger Sister wanted to hang out with Jongnam, but of course, Jongnam was too busy with customers and all. So then Younger Sister (sorry, can't remember her name) then self-suggested that she would meet up with Haein at her workplace and hang out with her. But Jongnam told Younger Sister that Haein received a phone call earlier at work and had made an appointment to see someone elsewhere (this "someone" was Nara where Nara was telling Haein to fire Jongnam ever since that stupid bumping-into-each-other accident). As Younger Sister seemed a little crushed that her plans of "hanging out with the girls" were not working out as she had hoped, Jongnam finally asked her, "How do you know Haein so well?" Younger Sister replied, "Don't you know? Kiwoong and Haein are dating. They're going to get married. Haein's going to be my sister-in-law!"

So, of course, Jongnam felt bad. She knew Kiwoong and Haein were not dating b/c she recently had a deep talk with Kiwoong. Kiwoong had confided in Jongnam that the woman he loved was gone. emoticon

With her knowledge of how close Sukhyun and Haein are, Jongnam had to bluntly, yet politely as possible, ask Haein (which is tomorrow night's episode for me, according to previews) if she was the one who first broke off the relationship with Kiwoong.

(2) Looks like Grandmother is going to the hot springs or a sauna with her friends (again, interpreting from previews for tomorrow night's episode for me). Saunas a.k.a. bath houses in Korea (as well as Japan) are very popular. Only dilemma is that Grandmother didn't want to miss
the birthday party.

[I bet you already know this now, but just in case, I wanted to fill you in.]

Hey, Korean Scorpion.. Thanks for that clarification. I didn't know how Jongnam knew that Haein and Kiwoong were 'supposedly' a couple.

Last nite was just too much. I am getting REALLY tired of the games that Sukhyun is playing. Does he even know he is playing with two women? He must know because he is so careful to hide the fact he is seeing Jongnam.

So he does turn around and rescue 'his woman' (barf on that one). I find it hard to believe that skinny guy could take on both those big guys. Then Sukhyun tells Haein that he takes care of his woman (or was that women?).

After dropping her off at work, he high tails it to the amusement park to keep his date with Jongnam. The entire amusement park scenario was really cute. I was a bit confused by Sukhyun's reaction when Jongnam was frightened in the fun house. She grabs onto him and he almost backed up as if some roach had latched on to him. I wanted him to put his arms around her to protect her but he didn't ... I am soooooo confused by him.

Nara is really nasty isn't she. Why does she have to talk down to Minsook? It's so mean the way she talks. And what was that Minsook said to her husband? "Should we take Haein as our daughter in law?".. How could she do that without everyone's approval? You can't just take someone!

And Kiwoong. He is just the nicest guy. He was so worried about his beloved Haein when he heard she was in an accident. He cares SO MUCH for her that he was relieved that Sukhyun rescued her. He isn't jealous. He just loves Haein and truly wants what is best for her. He is sincere in his concern for her well being. He is just the best..

Have to miss tonite... Hopefully, all my fellow posters will catch me up..

Whoopiiii! Sukhyun got to play with Jongnam. Just seeing these two together just like nite's eps makes me so happy. Sukhyun is still a little bit awkward because he has'nt fully realize how he feels for Jongnam. He knows that he has to marry H as an obligation to his parents but he is new to his relationship with Jongnam. I don't think that he is playing around with two women. He has'nt told J or even himself that he love... or like J. It is just a fact that he is attracted to her in some way and he could'nt resist that. Remember how his facial expression was when he was called by H to rescue her? The first thing he said is "call the insurance co." but of course H said that 2 men were bothering her so he was forced to turn back to rescue her. Also, on the drive back to the office, he was carrying on a conversation with H but his mind is somewhere else. He is performing his obligations to H because he is supposed to, not because he is madly in love with her.

This scenario is very common in k-drama where the lovers did'nt know they are falling in love with each other and this is what keeps me glued to tv. The journey to realization of their love, if the writers are really, really good, could keep lots of fan on a string, no matter how long. I am definitely one of them.

Kiwoong, on the other hand, seems very unfortunate. His love life would probably keep everybody sympathetic to him but he will remain second in importance to S & J's romance.

Jungnam is really a player since she knows the situation and still goes out with Sukhyun. She is attractive until she opens her mouth.

In the spoiler at the end of ep 91 (which aired yesterday in Korea), they hinted at a big plot twist as the show approaches 100 eps.

I'm also on that string. The writers have me so confused. I DO think Sukhyun acts as if he is very happy to marry Haein. I don't like that. He acts like he can't get enough of Jongnam but he seems so vague as to what he is feeling for her.

YES YES YES.... Jongnam DOES know Sukhyun is engaged to Haein. She IS sneaking to see him as much as he is sneaking to see her. They are both lying about their relationship. Her mother asked her who was going w/her to the amusement park and she said she didn't know. This was after it was already arranged to meet Sukhyun there. And HE keeps changing the subject or avoiding any mention of what he is doing with Jongnam. They are both sneaking to be together but neither will admit WHY. I think because they want to play but are truly unaware of what feelings they have for each other.

I suppose that is what makes it so interesting and frustrating at the same time. I know it's driving me crazy!!
