question question  ...what happened after J and S exchanged their little gifts at the amusement park on Tues episode? I taped it b/c I was busy and the tape ran out (didn't know until i rewatched it the next day). I saw little here and there. i only remembered watching them watching the firework and exchanged lovey-dovey glance...hehe. someone mentioned minsook saw them together - how? why did K have to tell J that S and H are engaged? i figured he noticed J is falling for S. Anyhoo...it seem like a long road ahead of them. Oh yea...i think Grandma is slowly giving away the family secret?? since she slipped out "2 brothers shouldn't be fighting over the same girl" and the conception dream thingy. this is getting interesting by episodes...hehe. although i'm dying out of curiosity as to what will happen but I think i can wait till the end.

Yeah, that was strange. Just when I thought they had dropped the secret about Sukhyun's birth, they throw in that conception dream. And a different dream than his mother and father recalled. Hmmmm.
I so didn't know that Jongnam was unaware of Sukhyun and Haein being engaged. He's wearing the ring. I know Haein isn't but I just assumed that Jongnam knew. Heck... They whole family knows. People at work know. Jongnam spends all that time with Sukhyun. I really thought she knew.
Now that she does know, she seems so hurt. I couldn't believe that she told Haein that Sukhyun has good qualities. I figured she would be too angry with him. But she was just so sweet when she was talking to Haein. I wonder if she will see him at Kiwoong's tonite. Sukhyun is there to plead his case so I am sure they will run into each other.
That's another thing that is bothering me. I DO think Sukhyun loves Haein (or thinks he does) and he definitely acts like he wants to marry her.. This wasnt' a set up arrangement by his mother. Sukhyun found and wanted Haein on his own.
This is the first drama ever that has driven me CRAZY!!! I hate it to end each nite. I think I'm becoming obsessed with wanting Sukhyun and Jongnam together.
Kiwoong is the sweetest, kindest guy. And so compassionate about his family, his friends, and his Haein. He sees no wrong in her. He loves her so much he is happy for her happiness with Sukhyun. What a guy!!

you have another crazy viewer joining you guys...hehe. i really want the station to show the full episode or longer than 20 minutes that we have. each night is a clip hanger...arg...hehe.
anyhoo...in regard to S and J: i think they were just going out with one another as friend/cousin. i don't think either one expect to fall for one another. i know J has realized that already and is having a hard time for it. as for S...i don't think he realizes what he has done or the impact of his action on their relationship. but i think after tonight...he is slowly realizing it. i felt so bad for him when he was talking to J on the way home - about how she's charming or how "Mr. Pooh" just doesn't know how to express his feeling. i was so mad when Nara just slap J like that...what a ***** (sorrie...hehe). but then i guess every mom would probably put their son above all.
btw...the story of S being born in the US, when did Nara told H's mom that?? and the way S's parents react to grandma's version of the conception dream seems strange. it's almost to show that they admit that S is not their biological son. this is just getting better and better.

What episode are you guys on in California? I just noticed last night that we are only on episode 37 in Philly. All our episodes are 30-34 minutes long because the series is shown on public television and there are, of course, no commercials. So you guys must lose a lot of good stuff if you have only 20 minutes of view time.

In Chicago, we are only up to episode 32. We see a broadcast with a commercial break in the evening, and a re-airing with no break the following morning. Both have about 29 minutes of program in them.
I started noticing a difference back in the middle of last September, at the time our local station became affiliated with KBC-America (towards the end of 'My Sweetheart'). Suddenly, the daily drama which had been around 35 minutes had five minutes shaved off it every day. The picture quality of the dramas went downhill too.
I wonder if KBS-America has a tiered pricing plan for their affiliates, like "You get the full episode for X dollars, five minutes short for 20% off, and fifteen minutes short for 50% off."

I think we're on 54 or 55 as of Thursday night episode (i forgot but can double check with my tape). We might have a little more than 20 minutes but not so much cuz of commercial...hehe. Sometimes we get lucky and there were no commercial at all but rare...hehe. i really do wonder what are we missing cuz those could have been part of the crucial point of the serie. but then i guess it's their way of getting us to buy the serie afterward ya? hehe.

I agree w/Kiwoong's grandmother -- if Haein doesn't marry Kiwoong, she shouldn't marry into the family. Period!!! And, when Haein overheard the guys in her ofc. talking about "first loves" she seemed to understand what Kiwoong might be going thru, but then she quickly dismissed the thought and went about her selfish, status/money-hungry ways.
As for Nara, somebody, PLZZZZZZZZ, put this ***** in her proper place!!! All those screech mom horrors are making an entrance . . . let me go out and find some fish lanterns (seriously, I was planning to find some anyway, I like lanterns and fish) and hang them near my TV to keep those horrors away! btw -- why is Kiwoong's mother telling him to "be careful" when it comes to Jongnam/Sukhyun doings? If anything, she ought to stand up and enjoy watching Nara's plans fall apart. 
Remember, ppl, Sukhyun had feelings for Jongnam when he first met her when she worked in the bar and gave her his watch as collateral. Likewise, she was attracted to him. Not once has Jongnam or Sukhyun dated as cousins.
P.S. I am totally disgusted w/this actress being named "Haein."
There is only one K-drama "Hae-in" -- Kim Hee Sun -- and this actress doesn't even remotely compare. Guess this copycat idea is connected to their bizarre theme; it's a name play but it doesn't work; especially since Sad Love Story is still making the rounds.
