Speaking of "Ajushee," which basically means "Mister" in Korean, I am hoping to hear Jongnam call Kiwoong "Ohpah," which means "Big Brother" instead of "Ajushee." Jongnam and Kiwoong know each other well enough now like a little sister and a big brother. Kiwoong doesn't seem to mind, but I want him to be called Big Brother since he really acts the part. I loved how Kiwoong diplomatically informed Jongnam that Sukhyun was engaged to Haein and then recommended that she shouldn't hang out with him like at the amusement park in order to prevent outside suspicion. (*background note: Koreans like other Asians usually address their peers or close friends and relatives by the appropriate terms of Big Sister, Big Brother, Younger Sibling/Kin, Auntie, Uncle, etc. For example, Jaeok, Jongnam's "adoptive mom" is younger than Minsook, so she addresses Minsook as "Ohknee," which means "Big Sister.")

AAAAAAhhhhhh.. What is Sukhyun doing to me??? Why is he still going around Jongnam? He's going to cause her more trouble! Sure, I WANT him to go around her, etc., but doesn't he see how hard that is for her? No, actually he doesn't. He really doesn't see the whole picture at all. All he knows is that he can't stay away from her and I really do not believe he knows what his feelings are.
Haein. She can appear to be a sweet, classy girl, and I suppose she really is. But I see the horns coming out and I think there is going to be a lot of 'ugly' coming..
Seems Jongnam and Sukhyun are now hiding any contact with each other. I think Jongnam truly doesn't want to hurt Haein so she lied about the training manual. Sukhyun has always kept his relationship with Jongnam a secret.
Boy, the fact that Sukhyun was born in the U.S. really is a big secret that is worming its way out. Even Minsook was horrified by Kiwoong's mention of it. I think poor Sukhyun is going to be terribly affected by all of this. The way granny acted when Kiwoong kept telling her that she should allow the marriage with Sukhyun and Haein because they are only cousins just showed that they must be brothers. Granny kept saying cousins are just like brothers. Then Kiwoong tells her if they were brothers he could understand her being opposed to the wedding.
I am fairly convinced that Minsook is Sukhyun's bio mother. The one thing I really don't understand is WHEN that occurred ... If Sukhyun were the oldest then we could assume Minsook was pregnant before marrying her husband. She could have handed Sukhyun over to the Nasty Nara. But since Kiwoong is the oldest, AND the son of Minsook and her husband, then that would mean either Minsook got pregnant after Kiwoong and it was another man's baby, or she got pregnant by her own husband and somehow they both agreed to hand the baby over to Nasty Nara. I am really puzzled over this one..
I am so hooked on this show. Just like YH for me.

I don't understand why most viewers on this board seem to think the worst of Haein and
believe that Jungnam is so perfect. Jungnam has lied and been devious many times in this show while so far Haein has showed more admirable qualities even though she is low key.
It seems Sukhyun is not Nara's son biologically, and may be adopted legally or illegally.
Until recently, adopted babies were not told they were adopted and who their parents were so it is not unusual for a person not to know this when they become adults.

Maybe1: here's your Tues recap...sorry it's so late...hehe. had to watch it again to make sure  (in no particular order)
1. Haein and Sukhyun were having tea/coffee at the aunt's place. Haein suggested them go to US for their honeymoon. She said it would probably be easier to get the visas since Sukhyun already has the US citizenship. He was shocked/surprised and asked what was she talking about. Haein said that his mom told her mom that he was born in the US. He said that Haein's mom was probably mistaken. So now Haein was surprised to know that Sukhyun had no idea what she was talking about.
2. Jongnam asked Haein about applying for the guest position and Haein said she'll let Jongnam know more info as soon as the notice is posted. Haein was wondering how did Jongnam know. The next day when the post came out, she asked Kiwoong if he told Jongnam about the position and he said no since he just heard about it that morning. Haein had a flashback to when she discussed the hiring with Sukhyun and wondered if he told Jongnam.
3. Kiwoong came to see Jongnam at the restuarant and found her talking to herself. He teased her for a bit and then she asked if he's going straight home. She asked to come over to visit Mr. Pooh. When she saw Mr. Pooh, Kiwoong suggested to his sister that they should give Mr. Pooh back to Jongnam and the aunt since the dog was in their family picture. The sister protested and said that Sukhyun promised to give the dog back to her. Jongnam's expression changed and Kiwoong noticed that. Jongnam then said that she'll just come over to see Mr. Pooh whenever she misses him.
4. The aunt to Minsook about Nara slapping Jongnam.
5. Minsook and Grandma talked about the 2 version of conception dreams. Minsook said that Nara was right and that confused the grandma.
6. Sukhyun and his mom finally talked again after the father's pleading. He then asked them about him being born in the US. They were both surprised. and that's where the show ended.

my other post was too long...hehe...so I had to separate them.
About Wed. episode: I'm surprised Nara hasn't throw away or shred that bunny hat that Jongnam gave to Sukhyun. Maybe she thought he really bought that but didn't she saw him bringing it home after the amusement park? anyhoo...he looked cute in there  . i feel so bad for him...he seems to be so not interested in getting married and all he's concerning about is Jongnam. Although I agree with nsheldon that he should know how hard it will be for Jongnam if anyone of the family see them together. Everytime the 2 of them are together, I always anticipate Nara to pop up from somewhere and starts to scream again...hehe.
as for Haein, from the preview of tonight episode, it seems that she's slowly showing her evil side (well not quite evil but just something bad...hehe) when she suggested to Jongnam to be closer now that they will be in-laws. Although I don't understand why she said sister-in-law, wouldn't it be cousin-in-law? hehe...unless there's no such thing. Anyhoo...I just thought that when I saw she suggested that, it's to keep Jongnam in check with her relationship with Sukhyun. Also I guess it was obvious to her that it was Sukhyun who gave Jongnam the guidebook.
pali: I know you think we're being unfair to Haein since she had done nothing wrong...hehe...but there's always 1 girl that viewer like/love and 1 girl that viewer hate. Plus, it's too good to be true to have 2 perfectly "good" girls in the serie...one bound to be jealous or something esp when the guy she likes is not soooo interested and the other bound to be nicest one. not sure if that's enough for an answer...hehe. but that's how I feel. this is an add on to why I don't like Haein from the other post.

I agree I think the writers have Haein wearing her hair up like that because she is portraying a reserved type of person. I don't what to think abour her mother, sometimes she acts a little strange, but she is pushing for her to get married.

He mother wants her to marry into a high position; it's only Haein's father who thinks she should marry a hard working man, just like him. Haein's mother has been influenced by Nara--and we all know Nara only respects money--and the reason? Without money she would have no one and she knows it. That's very sad actually.
