Well, I'm not sure if Nara is a snob or if she isn't. When she walked away from where her brother was working (parking cars), I first thought she was ashamed of him. But after last nite I think it was so he wouldn't know SHE knew that he had lost his government job. She seemed concern for him. Then she brought the ribs over. As if to 'give' something. Wanting to help out. ANd she seemed ashamed for her previous behavior.

And I may be changing my mind about whom I thought was going to end up with whom.... Haein seems to really have feelings for Kiwoong. And Sukhyun continues to think about Jongnam. Though I think Kiwoong is more suitable for Jongnam, and Haein with Sukhyun, it may just be the opposite.

Hi everyone! We just started this new show last night. There's so many people in this show, it seems to be a good show. However, one of the characters, it's the strict dad, he seems to be doing it a little to much.

NSheldon: The parking lot guy is Kiwoong's father and Nara's brother-in-law (Nara's husband is the second son of MIL). I think Nara was embarassed to see a relative (even if it's just by affiliation) going menial job. Her bringing meat to MIL's house is to make up for the confrontation she had with the SIL. She concluded that the reason her SIL was mad at her was because of the job situation of the husband.

I like this drama, but it's no Yellow Handkerchief or MSMD--I miss that drama. The guys in the Bizarre Bunch ar a lot better looking than the women.

is it just me...or does n e one find Lee Ok Doo annoying?..she deff. meets that stereotype of a annoying korean grl..;;...

i agree with most ppl...that there are too many characters...ive only been watching for 4 nites..and im still confused about who belongs to which family..haha...

and i still get a lil upset when i dont hear the MSMD theme song rite after the sports section..*sniff*

Jongnam... Oh for shame. How can SHE, a mere boarder in the home and employee at the restaurant, assume she knows what is best for her employer? That voice on the telephone answering machine was all that woman had left of her son... I would have thrown her out also. It wasn't HER call, HER decision to make. I'm sure she will end up being forgiven but I would never be able to forgive that....

That woman is very annoying and I agree there are way to many characters emoticon

I am still trying to get into this show but as alot of people have said I really miss MSMD! Even though toward the last it kind of got a little nervewracking. Thanks

Ha, ha, ha... Byungdo is what keeps me watching this series so far. Last nite's episode where his wife fought him back behind her daughter's back was really funny. His wife was telling him how her friends treat their husbands and he said that those husbands go on trips, have affairs, etc, so stop seeing those kinds of friends.

Among the husband and wife pairs, Nara and her hen-pecked husband, the 1st son (Jaedo?) and his very domesticated wife (very sweet to each other, but I find it boring), Byungdo and his wife at least has a fiery relationship. I look forward to their in-fighting and his wife trying to out-smart him.

This show beagn here in Chicago a couple of days ago. I don't think too many people here are suffering terribly from 'Sweetheart' withdrawal; most folks on the Chicago board seemed to find that one disapointing.

I havew been watching the VOD's on KBS's site as well, because ch28 here edits the show heavily, often cutting out scenes that were rather important. For instance, we didn't see Ki-woong stop the guy from jumping off the bridge.

I am enjoying watching the VOD's even without subtitles. Commedies generally are easier to follow without subs than heavy dramas are.

I was wondering, do they explain what happened to Ki-woong's cousin? I know he died, but under what circumstances?
