nchristi - you threw out some great suggestions. I, too, somehow think somehow, someplace, the subject of Jongnam's birthparents w/play a role -- and, I still believe Nara was the wicked 'mother' at the birthday party who handed out sparklers to everyone but Jongnam.
btw - we have a father/son team in this drama; anyone able to guess the team?

Wowwwww, I'm away from my computer for just one night and I end up trying to catch up with everyone's most enjoyable posts. As much as I love watching BB, I love tuning into this board as well.
Okay, now nchristi had mentioned that one of the moderators of this or these CJKDrama.com boards is 15 years old. Well, whoever that moderator is... kudoz to you!... along with the rest of the moderators/administrators. Excellent job in maintaining this thoroughly enjoyable chat forum. I must say, for a 15-year-old moderator, that must be hard work while juggling with school and everything else!
Again, I loved reading every post after my last entry. Pali - No worries. Haein's a good girl. Many of us are just cheering for Jongnam, that's all. As mentioned before by others, it's just another K-drama with two totally different types of leading women.
I had watched Episode #55 (I'm quite proud of myself for now keeping track of my episode numbers - just for you guys). This is the one where Sukhyun was asking his mom if she really dreamt about a red carp as her conception dream because he had heard from Grandmother that his mom had dreamt about catching the moon with her skirt. And this is the episode where Jongnam receives the postcards from Sukhyun after he had given her a ride home... and where Sukhyun's mom slaps Jongnam outside of Jongnam's (and Jaeok's) apartment building. This is sizzling good... along with this board!
Well, East Coasters, stay safe and warm cuz I hear we might get 10 inches in some parts of our area! My hubby, little boy and I stocked up today for the weekend!

I, too , am glad to be part of such a diverse group across different time zones . I just kind of wish we were all on the same episode ! I think we here in LA are getting a couple extra minutes of the show ,because they are showing commercials during the beginning credits . At least , it feels like we're seeing more to me.
Sukyun took that picture with him when Gramma's back was turned >
He was at the house to talk Daejung into giving "Mr Pooh " back. She agreed,and he was holding the dog (looking all happy)when K came in. K said "Is your heart changing ?What are your inclinations ? Why is a Division Manager delivering a puppy ?
S replied "This has nothing to do with Haien. Who are you worried about :me or Haien ???"
S then goes to J's place,and Aunt is not home .S insists on having tea there. Those two are kind of able to talk again.
The next day ,K runs into S .He said "I've been thinking about what you said .I'm not worried about you or Haien. I'm worried about Jongnam.She is a sister to me ,she's had a hard life. I do not want to see her get hurt "
S looked stunned.( Hello??)
At the end S is sitting at the desk looking at the group baby picture.He then has a flashback .He is with Nara,and looks about 12.He said" Am I really your son ? Dad's blood type is O ,and you have A .I just found out that mine is B,and in class they said that's not possible "
Nara tells him she made a mistake with hers....the scene ends .
We see the adult Sukhyun opening his eyes....
HE KNOWS !!!

addie04: Thanks for the juicy details! Can't wait to see the above-mentioned episode. For me and my KBS World broadcasts via WKTV (24hr Washington Korean Television), I get BB uninterrupted. We have no commercials during any K-show, sitcom or drama. A nice, little perk for me while being snowed in. =)
Someone mentioned about Jongnam's birth parents might come into the "big picture." Yeah, I wonder. Poor Sukhyun continuously being lied to. Hmmm, this reminds me of "A Farewell to Tears."

Oh, wow, the sparks were really flying tonight when Sukhyun brought Mr. Pooh back to Jongnam's apartment—and they were alone! Lingeringly touching hands in the kitchen while they try to open a jar together... Sukhyun rising from the sofa to leave, with Jongnam blindly wheeling around, the two of them finding their faces only inches apart. (One little movement of the head and we could have had Sukhyun planting a nice little smoochie on her! Yikes.)
Such a combination of delicious and scary as all get out, worrying that Sukhyun is exposing Jongnam to some serious consequences when others (namely Nara) find out he's been with her, that they were alone having tea.....
Kiwoong certainly did play the protective oppa tonight, didn't he?! His whole demeanor towards his younger cousin was one of ominous seriousness. I love how Kiwoong gets his point across without beating Sukhyun over the head with it. It would be difficult for Sukhyun not to get the point about his feelings leaving Haein and landing square onto Jongnam. But then, with Sukhyun, you never know. He's about as out of touch with his feelings as they come.
He needs to slip on the pink rabbit (?) hat from the amusement park. Might warm up his brain and make him think a little more clearly. (It already warms up his heart when he puts it on! LOL! What kind of animal is that hat, anyway?)
I so love this drama. If it sustains our interest and continues with the character chemistry and intrigue that we've seen so far, this is going to be my number one favorite "daily" drama (5 nights/wk). I only hope that it doesn't have some dud of an ending, as I've seen happen before to a couple dramas that were compelling.
As for the father/son quiz, star1, I'll guess Cider Park might be Hyena's son (Nara's husband). The shape of his face (jaw line) reminds me of him, though his pudginess reminds me of Kiwoong's dad.

I know I keep going on about Sukyun and Jongnam but last nights episode at the amusement park, CHEM-I-STRY!!!(WOW). I mean the sparks were flying between those two, (my, my, my). I loved the part where Sukyun was staring at Jongnam and she said, "don't stare" "why are you stammering" It was classic Jongnam she is so upfront almost to the point of being rude. But I love those two. Sukyun looked so cute in that hat(awww!) Those two fussing and fighting I tell you those two are a love match, I don't know if it will work out, but it's sure fun watching!
On another note, Nara the Nasty I really don't like this woman! She just keeps pushing for this wedding, maybe if she just slowed down and let Grandma cool her jets, maybe grandma would change her mind. It's not like she merging two companies(well maybe to her it is! HA!) it's a marriage. Slow down speedy.
Haein's mother she seems to be just as rushed about this wedding as Nara, how can she ask for Kiwoong to be transferred. Who does she think she is. I'm glad her husband caught her and basically told her to mind her business.
One more thing I love Kiwoong! He so sweet, he was so worried about Haein when he found out she had an accident, he wanted to rush right over there, unlike sukyun he first asked her "did you call your insurance company" instead of saying "I'll be right there" in the first place. I think that Haein and Kiwoong are a better fit, he loves he unconditionally, and I think if Sukyun and Haein got married they would probably end up like his parents.
Ok I think I've said enough!

last night episode was awesome wasn't it? i love it...esp all the scene of Sukhyun and Jongnam. they seem like they're almost back to where they first getting to know each other only with more sparks...hehe. i love how Sukhyun was excitedly bringing mr. Pooh over and just linger around the apartment. i hope he'll think some more on Kiwoong's comment about watching what he's doing to Jongnam. ya ya put on the hat...heheHe gotta know or have some clue that she likes him yea? or he has not thought about that at all? anyhoo...and yea Kiwoong was great wasn't he? he's just so caring and able to handle it carefully.
about the father and son quiz...is it the actor who play Kiwoong's dad? he has that nice looks?

East Coasters enjoy the bilzzard!Ohh man, this episode premeired last night and, omg, this week had the best two to three episodes of the BB so far. I absolutely loved that scene with Jongnam sleeping and Sukhyun staring. That moment only comes once in a while. Oh yea, nchristi that fireworks scene WAS amazing. They stared into each others eyes for so long! Stupid boy....... I think that since this episode, Sukhyun will start to hang out with Jongnam more despite the consequences that are going to occur. Ohh boy, this crazy drama. I'm just hoping it doesn't drag too much.

Help!!!! I missed the first 10 min. of Friday nite's eps. It should have started at: Sukhyun waiting at the stairwell of Jongnam's apartment. I was watching Spring Days (another k-drama on dvd) and it was so absorbing that I forgot BB. When I look at the clock, it was already 8:35pm. Even if it's just 10 min. I would like to know what was said between S and J. I only saw from the time that S was inside already and J was holding Mr. Pooh (the puppy).
nchristie: I am similar with your train of thoughts. I also imagine all kinds of scenario in this BB drama. But so far, we have not outwitted the writers. Like their explanation of Nara giving up the US citizenship. I think that was lame. And how long are they going to suppress the fire of love between S & J to keep us viewers all flustered? Those puppy looks between S & J are wearing me out. That is why I love watching k-drama in dvds. You can forward it to see what happened in the next episodes. If S & J don't touch, hold hands, hugs, kiss in the next 2 or 3 eps, I'll ........ continue watching.
