My favorite little snippet from last night was when he was in his office looking through Jongnam's portfolio. When he turned to the full size picture of her in that sassy pose, his face totally lit up! Personally, I won't be surprised if Sukhyun does not have a big problem calling off the wedding. He's stood up to his mother before, it's just that he rarely has cause to do so. I don't think he's at the stage yet of realizing where he's at in his feelings about Jongnam, though that bubble of denial is stretching pretty thin and just about to burst.

His real feelings, plus the genetics test results, are going to change a lot of his action, I would guess. I'm very curious to see how he reacts to that, if he rebels, leaves, or numbs himself to everything and just goes along with Mommie Dearest.

LOL... nchristi, you always come up with just the right words... Collar and leash! YES, that was exactly what it was. Haein is dictating this relationship and I think, even though Sukhyun is going along, he is liking it less and less. Did you notice how his smile disappeared when Haein told him he wasn't allowed to think this or that, etc.?

Also, I really do think the genetics results will give him enough anger towards Nara that he will find it easy to call off the wedding... Because that will hurt Nara. I wonder though....I'm rooting for you Sukhyun.... Dump Nara Jr before it's too late. I bet if he did marry her he would end up having affairs. I can understand why his dad does..

Also, I like Mommie Dearest as a name for Nara....

Count me in on the smackdown ,too !!!!!

I almost got the feeling that haien might be looking at S in a different light ,too. Don't get me wrong...she'll never call off the wedding .But I almost got the feeling that she was reminiscing about the Christmas Eves at the orphanage with K...I think she's starting to thinl S is rather dull.
He never wants to do much ( Haien -I'll say it one more time for the audience-BUY A CLUE )

I truly believe this wedding WILL be called off ,but my money is on Byundoo to do it !!! If he gets even an inkling that Jaeman AKA Mr Kim is hanging around Okdoo-it's ovah !!!
(Please let me be right)

I really think Haein is going to call it off--she's getting very upset with the J and S connection so I think to save face she'll dump him just as her mother told Nara what would happen if S kept doing those shady things. And she thinks it is too soon to set a date for the wedding--I think her heart's telling her something.

More thoughts on the wedding_ S & H haven't really proceeded with the plans either because they've been waiting for Gramma to approve.

I just want it to be called off so at least Sukyun & Jongnam can at least talk to each other . I hate to admit this ,but last night I was yelling at the
TV ! First for either S to go into the restaurant (Or J to turn aroundm ) Then, for J to go after him .

I guess I'm a hopeless romantic...but I know I'm in good company. emoticon

Ultimately <S will have to defy Nara - even if he wasn't stuck in this arrangement with Haien " MOmmie Dearest AKA Ice Queen Dragon Lady
would never approve !

Now, where are we all meeting for the smackdown !!! I'll bring some chairs emoticon

I agree ,prof ! ther are so many ways it can go .I just feel sure this wededing is not happening. I know ever seen the slap episode ,S doesn't want it to-whether he realizes it or not.
He stopped trying to change Gramma's mind

And Jongnam is always in his thoughts
Last night ,this was one of the conversations between S& H
H- are you afraid I would ask you to pick the stars for me?
S- you would never do that (looking aside...) maybe another woman would.
( I guess we all know who that would be )
H- I thought I told you not to talk about other women !

BTW,if the scarf she gave him was any wider ,it would cover his face !

from the beginning when Sukhyun's parentage was in doubt ,I was hoping his real parents did not turn out to be Jaedo & Minsook .
I think that they most likely ARE ,but I felt bad for S even more in that case

I don't know which would be worse; not being who you think you are ,or all the lies.PLUS the feeling of "why didn't my parents keep me ?"
and the feeling of all that time lost.He could have grown up in a happy home with Kiwoong & Daejung.A place where there is a lot of laughter and love ,instead of the quiet,sterile inner sanctum that is Jaeman & Nara's house.
Nara- she is so controlling !!!She'd like to be a puppet master and make the whole Chang family and the Home Shopping Co dance on her strings !

I think nsheldon might be right .When Sukhyun finds out he is not the biological child of Jaeman & Nara ,I can see him going off by himself "running away ".
I get the feeling in their culture that it is a huge deal- even Haien said that the "friend " must be having a hard time with this info @ Christmas.
He will feel the gamut of feelings about it. Jongnam has felt all those same feelings her whole life. Who better to help him through it ?

Hey!

I just saw the aftermath of the SLAP! OMG! Jongnam was stunned into silence. Poor, Poor Jongmam. How much is she going to have to take! Hasn't she been thru enough. Orphaned, Homless. In love with a man she cannot have! Poor Baby!!

But woo hoo for Sukyun for stopping Nara from getting in another blow. Good for him!

When Kiwoong and Jongnam where out drinking and singing karoke it was so sad to see them both thinking about the one they loved. They were trying so hard to keep each others spirts up. I just love Kiwoong he is so insightful about what is going on with J and S, J didn't even have to say anything about her feelings for S, K already knew. So insightful.

Haein needs to get a clue. She must realize that Sukyun is just not that into her.

Oh the last scene The Stairwell (sighhh)

OK let's commence with the Nara Smackdown Let the games begin(ding, ding)

OK I think I'm done with the Nara bashing(for now)
