Well, as everybody has said everything that is bad about Nara, what about Jaeman? I think he is the most useless person in this whole drama. Aside from being a womanizer, he is also a whimp as a husband, a father and a son. He was so excited receiving christmas money from his son. What a jerk.
I remember when I give gifts to my parents, they hesitantly accepted it, only because I insisted. They're happier to be the giver than the recipient. That is also my attitude towards my children. Although they could afford more to give, I'm happier to be on the other end. I would not even think of relying on my children to take care of me when I grow old and sickly. My husband and I are already preparing for that eventuality now that we are able and still healthy. I know that in some Asian culture, the children are supposed to be responsible for taking care of their parents and I think Korea is one of them. When I say "taking care", I mean financial and personal responsibility.
So we have to wait a few more episode before we can see the Jongnam/Sukhyun upclose and heart-stopping semi-hug/embrace. So frustrating!!!

It was kindof pitiful how happy Jaeman was to get that money from Sukhyun. But I felt for him too,because Nara only gives him a small allowance. She figures that will stop him from running around.As we have seen ,where there's a will ; there's a way.
I really can't spare that much pity from S,however .The character has said how hard it was to live up to expectations. The pressure on him is beyond what would be expected here. I don't think he will call off the wedding,but the fact that he is utterly miserable is clear.
Wouldn't it be great if Haien called it off? It can't be good for her ego that he almost never attends to what she's saying ,and is always "a thousand miles away ". The fact that she's bored bodes ill for their wedding (but of course,great for us !!  )
Watching those two together on dates has been a trip (S&H) They never talk about anything real . Even though S & J may not have spent as much time together ,they know each other more !
Haien's a bit of an enigma ,though > I don't even know what K sees in her. I guess it's all part of the past that we haven't seen.

I only meant Nara was pretty... I didn't mean to imply that I liked her personality.
I agree with you addie... but... we have to remember there are cultural differences here. Anyways... I somewhat think that Sukhyun owes more to Jongnam than he does to Haein. It'd be a real pain in Nara's a** to see her find out that Jongnam took care of her son when he was drunk and passed out... when God knows what could have happened to him if he stayed there on that street. That'd really work a number on her. I wonder how Haein would react if she found out.
You know what I'd love to see? I'd love to see an act by Sukhyun almost the same as Kijoon's when he jumped in front of the truck to save Inyoung. That was sweet. If Sukhyun did something on that magnitude for Jongnam... which I'm sure he would, as he is off the wall for her... then that'd just be so totally paradigm shifting. What kind of hell would that be for Nara?
What is Nara's husband's problem? That woman he sees at the bar is so.... weird. She moves her head so... stupidly... it's funny. Why the heck would she do something like that?

I would like to thank you for throwing that little "firecracker"out there. The responses were hilarious...I especially liked pooka's cartoon,and the person who called Nara vicious...but I digress.
I agree it would be great to see Cider Park and "Go,PP" together. I'm with you ,they fight so much ,there may be something there . We'll have to see on that one .
Sukhyun & Jongnam started out fighting a lot ,too. S was so arrogant,and he rubbed J wrong from the first ....but I think her naturalness won him over. DIdn't Jaeok once say "watch out,you'll get attached to each other ?" Isn't that why she sent them to the gag concert ?(Come to think of it,that's probably when they really started )
They both showed they can grow and change. They both had help from Nara's behavior,though.It was so out there ,and S couldn't stand to see J treated like that .
Kijoong's love for Inyoung was utterly selfless,and at the end,he asked for nothing in return.He let her & the baby go ,and moved to China . That kind of love Nara could NEVER understand.She belongs to "my way or the highway " or 'What have you done for me lately " school of thought. That seems to transend all cultures. Nara could only love someone that did whatever they were told .One part that amazed me after the 'slap" incident is that Nara wasn't speaking to Sukyun ?
Anyway ,I guess it's hard for me to see pretty where I can only see evil .
Let's keep up the debate !

Nooo problem Addie. I had a feeling it'd spark some controversy.
Wow Addie... good observations. I think Kiwoong and Kijoon are similar personally as well as namely... Kijoon... Kiwoong. Notice how Kiwoong reacted when he found out Haein was in an accident... he wanted to help right away. Kijoon did the same for Inyoung... except he was in a situation where he actually reacted. Too bad for Inyoung though... she refused Kijoon and was refused by Chung Jaemin (I love that name). I don't know what to make of the last scene... where they hugged. Does that mean they got back together? That always baffled me.
I think we'd all agree that if the S-H relationship died away... which it appears to be doing... and if afterward Sukhyun and Jongnam get together (hopefully)... that Nara would definately be opposed to any marriage betwixt the two... which sucks. But... we could also probably agree that Byungdoo would like Kiwoong... more so than Sukhyun. Oh well... what can we do except speculate and watch? Those are my two cents...
P.S.... Has anyone been picking up on any Korean phrases?

Hydraqurum-- I think in MSMD we were supposed to interpret the hug as the beginning of being together again--after all it was the FIRST time since she left Ki-joon that In-Young hugged back. Remember how Jae-min just hugged her and she always had he arms at her side. But the last hug she had her arms around Ki-joon too--it was a deeply unsatisfying ending considering how we were tortured throughout that whole drama.
Boy have I ever picked up Korean phrases--I recognize and can say thank you, I'm sorry, ear a lotm lady, honey, i love you, etc. I can understand more than I thought, although I'm sure the translation we get in subtitles aren't really that good,
