If that's the case, how can Nara not know?! This is what I can't figure out. But of course, this is just my suspicion. I couldn't really find any spoilers of this show in soompi.

Hi TC !

In LA, MSMD ended on 11/18/05 ,and BB started right after .I think we are about 2 weeks ahead of you.
I was getting bored with the urinary incontinence/ bathroom references too,but they'll stop soon.
to others:
I think that Minsook has a temporary job taking the census,and has encountered that elderly woman who needs help,She is as soft hearted as her husband who gives away his lunch every day. Hey,is it me or does that actor look thinner ?

I think Nara didn't want Sukyun to acknowledge his uncle because she is such a snob,she didn't want the Lees to know she is related to the parking attendant. Remember,she herself hid when she saw her brother inlaw at the restaurant.

I sure hope that S doesn't turn out to be K's brother. In my opinion that would be TOO much of a secret...and I can't imagine that news going over well.
But after all,this is a "soap opera" emoticon

Yes, that's what I got from Nara. She told her son to turn around. The snob in her came to the surface with that! She did not want her son to see the uncle (father???) working at parking cars. And any chance that this information would get to Narien's parents makes it even more disasterous to Nara. She certainly is showing her true colors.

And sometimes Sukhyun appears to be snobbish. But he sure didn't seem ashamed of his uncle for parking cars. More like concerned that they would be having financial difficulties. I like Sukhyun. He is a bit stiff but nice/good.

I'm still confused as to Haein's true feelings for Kiwoong. Does she really only view him as a brother/friend? Is there more to it? Sukhyun seems overly preoccupied with Jongnam also. Does he have feelings for her that he even doesn't realize he has? He is pretty open about his feelings for Haein. I think he is pretty set on marrying her. Perhaps Haien and Sukhyun both are unaware of having feelings for the other two. One nite I'm all for Sukhyun/Haein (they do seem perfectly matched) and Kiwoong/Jongnam (also perfectly matched). Then the next nite I think, "What's wrong with Sukhyun/Jongnam and Kiwoong/Haien?"

And even though I think Nara is a snob, and a cold fish, I think it is ridiculous that her husband is always out on the prowl. When he was in that restaurant with that long (ugly) coat on, carrying that single stupid rose....... well... I guess he must be craving attention. Goofy guy..

As Paula Abdul says, opposites attract.

I think Sukyun being matched with Jongnam & Kiwoong being matched with Haein would make for a very interesting show. That's what I'm rooting for anyway (although I'm not so much rooting for Kiwoong as much as I am rooting for Jongnam).

I think Kiwoong is a little feeble-minded. He does not seem to have any common sense whatsoever.

Talking with Haein in an informal/almost rude manner at work (when she is technically in a superior position) as well as repeatedly forgetting to address Sukyun (who is even higher ranked than Haein) in a formal/respective manner is a "faux-pax" in the Korean corporate world.

Yes, he seems to have a good heart, but the guy just doesn't seem too smart. And when he gets set up with a date with Haein's friend, the guy acts in a rude manner. Fine, I understand he likes Haein & does not like to get set up on blind dates, but it does not mean that he had to be rude to Haein's friend.

Kiwoong has absolutely no class (and it has nothing to do with lack of money, it's a matter of how you behave towards others). I don't blame Haein for being a little ashamed of him sometimes.

As can be evidenced by Kiwoong's father's situation, nice guys (especially those that are timid/unambitious/feeble-minded) finish last.

I think that is a little harsh view on Kiwoong. Since the start of the show he has done nothing but look out for others and try to help them. He is always being kind to his Aunt and spending his first check on his family. I think if that is being feeble minded or having no class, I wish more people were that way! As for him not being so formal with people I think that is refreshing, I am so sick of how uptight people can be. I hope he doesn't end up with Haein, she is to stuffy for him and will always be looking down on him. The same would happen to Jongnam if she was with Sukyun. I can't wait till Sukyun figures out he is most likely the son of Minsook and K-Dad (at least it seems that way). It will be quite a blow to his big ego.

I'll admit one thing.

For some reason, Kiwoong really rubs me the wrong way.

Having originally come from a Korean culture myself, I can say that what we Americans find "refreshing" may be deemed as "inappropriate" or "rude" in the Korean culture.

I'm judging his behavior using Korean cultural values rather than American ones.

Also, even if the CEO (of a company that you work for) is your cousin, that does not mean that DURING WORK HOURS & DURING BUSINESS SITUATIONS, you can go up to your cousin & address him in an informal/almost rude manner. Even in most American companies, that's not appropriate.

Yes, addressing superiors in a formal/polite manner (in a work environment) is uptight, but that's the way it is in most hierarchial companies.
