Re: K-Drama: (The Innocent Woman)
OK. So I like Il-Hong and Namgi but can not stand her MIL. At the end of tonights episode, we see that Namgi is up to no good and is only using Il-Hong. I'm very disappointed. He used her kids to get next to her. What a low life.
I was on the verge of discontinuing with my viewing of this one but decided to visit one of the other threads to see if I was jumping the gun and needed to stick it out.
Well, I only skimmed a couple of spoilers which has lead me to believe that I should sit still and give it a chance. Look like it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Re: K-Drama: (The Innocent Woman)
After last night's episode, for the first time I actually said to myself, Self, what are you doing here?
Okay, Tushka, I'll take your word that it's going to get better. But right now, I'm finding too many of these characters just down right annoying. On the list of...
Won't Someone Please Put These People in a Closet and Throw Away the Key class ul class li The Old Coot/Pervert in the Hospital Bed class li His nurse girlfriend/mother (?)of Sarang/Il-hong's MIL class li His Wife class li His Daughter class li Namgi the Con Man Extraordinaire class li Il-hong running around with her paws in the air going "ooh-ooh-ooh," tears streaming down as she's once again just given away all her money class li Il-hong's daughter (something about her shrill voice grates on me)Let's see, do I like anybody? class ul class li Pervert's granddaughter class li Pervert's Son-in-law (new CEO of furniture co.) class li Namgi (yep, he's horrible and likable all at the same time) class li Il-hong's best friend (okay but a little whiny)Of all the daily dramas I've watched to date, this one is by far the least enjoyable. It has moved from neutral down into an actual negative for me. That can quickly change. But will it? Time will tell...

Re: K-Drama: (The Innocent Woman)
I know that the synopsis sets us up for another colossal change of character, but I don't see how the scheming, low-life Namgi can possibly be redeemed after his plan to throw Il-hong and her kids into the gutter to save his own worthless neck. Nothing in this world is lower than a con man who would leave a poor widow and her fatherless children abandoned and destitute. A mugger only steals your purse. A scoudrel like this steals your faith in humanity.

K-Drama: (The Innocent Woman)
i have to agree with all of you...this one isn't shaping up to be one to watch on a regular basis. If I can find eng sub version of Queen of the Game I will have to watch that instead but then of course I good book would probably be a wiser option.

新年快樂!
OK. I can understand why this one is not popular. For some strange reason I like it.
It's true that Il-Hong's MIL get's on my nerves as does the MIL's boyfriend and his wife. Anyway, I like the main character and want to see her through all the madness.
You know, like her boss falling for her, dealing with Namgi and her lying MIL (although, she does irk me.) I want to jurney with Il-Hong as she seeks stability and happiness.

Thanks pooka67 for that picture of Lee Si Hwan. Nice. I do like that look much better.
nsheldon you're lucky to be able to watch the "other" channel. I don't have cable. Yeah, I'm one of those who refuse to pay for television. But, I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones because I am ware of K-dramas and they are accessible.
