What I don't get is the legal system in Korea. Being charged with hiring a hit-man to kill Namgi and hiring thugs to run Ilhong's guys into the ditch, causing serious bodily injury? All that depends on whether or not Ilhong, Gicheol (sp?) and Namgi want to press charges? These aren't civil law infractions. These acts are CRIMINAL acts, plain and simple. The police/prosecutors don't pursue prosecution for criminal violations of the law?

Mrs. Seo - I think the woman has psychiatric problems. She reminds me of a caged animal. (Somebody get the tranquilizer gun, crate her up and relocate her out in the Gobi Desert.) Maybe we'll be seeing another "Blank Face" ending to this drama. (A previous drama where the main villainess had a psychotic break and ended up institutionalized.) There doesn't seem to be much hope for Mrs. Seo. If she can't get a hold of reality by now, will she suddenly in the near future? Even the way she talks to her husband is way out there. Quite paranoid, it seems.

I got a good laugh out of that "blind date" photo DG's mom showed to him. That's what prominent, high society young women looking for arranged marriage with high-end corporate families dress and pose like? DG's mom is a real piece of work, isn't she?!

My mom was rather confused on what Ilhong could do to help Mrs. Seo. :/ Eh, I'll bet that witch will end up in jail anyway.

I really felt bad for Namgi during his conversation with Ilhong in ep. 166 (Wednesday's episode). He's really not evil--he just makes stupid choices, does stupid choices, has some pretty crappy luck, and gets involved with the wrong people. :/

I could not believe it….Namgi dropped charges of the hit & run…. Image
And—and—that lady is now blaming her husband….geez. Image

That lady must learn her lesson—Deokhui, you need to be punished for what you have done to all those people. Image

Is it next week the final week or the next?

Namgi ripping off IH in the past-a woman w/2 small children-she's all alone-that goes beyond making foolish choices-that's criminal. He never tried to repay her & only found her again because he saw her picture in the paper & saw that she had become successful-hoping he could con her again.
He tried to scam the apartment that was bought for Sarang. He would do anything for $. Finally ,he's turning over a new leaf, seemingly, after having the life beaten out of him so many times & gone to prison. I don't feel much sympathy for him, although w/ his new & improved character ,it is only right & the best for Jinsol for him to be a daddy to her.
I do think all involved would be agreeable to that now.

It's a little surprising to me- that in this time slot the dramas are for family viewing-yet, there are 2 out of wedlock pregnancies. I thought that was somewhat not acceptable in Korean society.

Sherlee, I was wondering the same thing about the out-of-wedlock pregnancies and the childrens' responses and/or lack of surprise/questioning of it. I haven't study much on this aspect of Korean culture (from ancient history to the present) so I wonder if it has been a part of Korean culture for a long time? Of course the ancient royalty had their concubines and the children created through them were accepted into the family but did this same practice trickle down to the commoners?

I’m so glad this is about to end. I’m also glad Ilhong and DG ended up together (I suppose we all knew that would happen).

This show has been mostly ‘silly’ but I did like Ilhong, DG, Namgi, and the girls. It had its moments I guess.

I can’t believe there can be people like Mrs Seo in the world. She not only should be in prison, she should be in the prison mental ward. What in the world did Mr. Seo go back to her for?

nsheldon, you are so right...100% agreement here.
Does he feel sorry, does he have some guilty conscious that he brought his wife madness to this level?... or what is it?

Ilhong is taking Sarang to visit Mrs Seo. Since Mrs Seo had been in jail shouldn't she be 'watched'? Or did they just let her leave and go to a hospital? She's in a regular hospital but there isn't a guard. I did hear them mention that she would be arrested in 3 days.

I guess they had let her go until they had completed their investigation??

Anyway, the end shows Ilhong and Sarang walking in on an attempted suicide by Mrs Seo. This woman is so demented that she would rather die than confess her crimes. She is one twisted woman!!

Ilhong wants to pay a visit to DG's uncle and mother. DIdn't we know that would blow up in her face! DG tried to tell her. I'm not saying Ilhong should 'obey' DG or anything but this woman is so stupid that she would do well to listen to him. He seems a lot more sensible to me. Ilhong is all emotion and DG is more on the logical side.

Is tonight the last episode?

This last month I hardly watched any eps, so I'm glad the end is near, too. Both brides looked very beautiful. If the other gal is pregers, wonder why the writers made her shy about the wedding night? I guess its a Korean tradition that newlywed couples wear matching sleepwear emoticon

I agree about Mr. Seo..... possibly quilt.
