K-Drama: 착한여자 백일홍 (The Innocent Woman)
My mom was rather confused on what Ilhong could do to help Mrs. Seo. :/ Eh, I'll bet that witch will end up in jail anyway.
I really felt bad for Namgi during his conversation with Ilhong in ep. 166 (Wednesday's episode). He's really not evil--he just makes stupid choices, does stupid choices, has some pretty crappy luck, and gets involved with the wrong people. :/

I could not believe it….Namgi dropped charges of the hit & run….
And—and—that lady is now blaming her husband….geez.
That lady must learn her lesson—Deokhui, you need to be punished for what you have done to all those people.
Is it next week the final week or the next?

Re: K-Drama: 착한여자 백일홍 (The Innocent Woman)
Namgi ripping off IH in the past-a woman w/2 small children-she's all alone-that goes beyond making foolish choices-that's criminal. He never tried to repay her & only found her again because he saw her picture in the paper & saw that she had become successful-hoping he could con her again.
He tried to scam the apartment that was bought for Sarang. He would do anything for $. Finally ,he's turning over a new leaf, seemingly, after having the life beaten out of him so many times & gone to prison. I don't feel much sympathy for him, although w/ his new & improved character ,it is only right & the best for Jinsol for him to be a daddy to her.
I do think all involved would be agreeable to that now.
It's a little surprising to me- that in this time slot the dramas are for family viewing-yet, there are 2 out of wedlock pregnancies. I thought that was somewhat not acceptable in Korean society.

Re: K-Drama: 착한여자 백일홍 (The Innocent Woman)
Sherlee, I was wondering the same thing about the out-of-wedlock pregnancies and the childrens' responses and/or lack of surprise/questioning of it. I haven't study much on this aspect of Korean culture (from ancient history to the present) so I wonder if it has been a part of Korean culture for a long time? Of course the ancient royalty had their concubines and the children created through them were accepted into the family but did this same practice trickle down to the commoners?

I’m so glad this is about to end. I’m also glad Ilhong and DG ended up together (I suppose we all knew that would happen).
This show has been mostly ‘silly’ but I did like Ilhong, DG, Namgi, and the girls. It had its moments I guess.
I can’t believe there can be people like Mrs Seo in the world. She not only should be in prison, she should be in the prison mental ward. What in the world did Mr. Seo go back to her for? nsheldon, you are so right...100% agreement here.
Does he feel sorry, does he have some guilty conscious that he brought his wife madness to this level?... or what is it?

Both brides looked very beautiful. If the other gal is pregers, wonder why the writers made her shy about the wedding night? I guess its a Korean tradition that newlywed couples wear matching sleepwear
I agree about Mr. Seo..... possibly quilt.
