 Which recent drama is your favorite?
Of the following dramas of the last two years, which do you like the most/least and why? The ones I've seen are Bizarre Bunch, Pure in Heart, Wide as the Sky and Likable or Not. I've also seen Dae Joyoung and Chill Sisters, but they're different formats, so I won't include them.
I like Pure in Heart. It avoided a lot of cliches that were in the others--for example, it had a nice older character (Grandpa), nobody had a transplant or health crisis, and everyone knew who their parents were. It also started out sad, with the death of the son, but got happier as it went along. The comic characters were strong, too--I adored Pungu, the talentless musician.
My least favorite was the flat "Wide as the. . ." It was lacking in humor and conflict, and added nothing I hadn't seen before. Bizarre and Likable would be just under Pure in Heart.
Bizarre, I can't comment on 100% because I didn't see the first half. Likable is good, but it's turning into Ugly Betty or Dallas with all the intrigue in the company, secret deals, etc. But both of them are really good.

I didn't see Bizarre Bunch. Of the next three, I'd pick Pure in Heart by a margin about "as wide as the sky."  I'd place this rating difference squarely in the lap of Goo Hye Sun. I find her to be the most underrated (although her fame/acclaim continues to grow) and talented of all the recently arrived starlets. Along with Yoon Eun Hye, Miss Goo is the most fearless and versatile young talent in the business. Every project she takes is different from the last and is buoyed by her inclusion.

I liked & saw all the choices, though I only really remember High as the Sky, Wide as the Earth & Likable or Not.
Liked the characters & story for both & it's hard to choose one but, for me, Formidable Rivals, with the gorgeous Chae Rim , was GREAT!! While I wasn't "crazy" about the ending, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole drama & loved the storyline and characters!!
Much as I liked Formidable Rivals, I still liked Chae Rim's two other famous dramas..,All About Eve & Dalia's Spring...better

My favorite recent drama is "Mom is Dead Upset" followed by the "The Great King Sejong". However, I would like to add that one of the best period drama's ever shown was "Dae Jo Young". Whoever assembled that cast did a remarkable job becasue every actor in that drama was absolutely superb.

I like Pure in Heart. --adored the (Grandpa) . It also started out sad, with the death of the son, but soon became one I could not let go of...still watch it...lol. I adored iceman and farm girl, I think she is one talented gal . My all time fav at this point was Yellow Hankie....but Pure in Heart has made Yellow Hankie second as of now...lol
My least favorite "Wide as the. . ." and Bizarre. Just could not click with them, would hang in for a while then just went to the end....
