 Korean Drama Preview Party at Borders Bookstores in CA
According to YA Entertainment's site, the following Borders bookstores in CA will be holding Korean drama Preview Nights in July & August:
Sacramento, CA - August 26, 2008 (7:30pm)
Elk Grove, CA - August 26, 2008 (7pm)
Union Square, San Francisco, CA - July 24, 2008 (7pm) & August 28, 2008 (7pm)
Stonestown, San Francisco, CA - July 25, 2008 (8pm) & August 29, 2008 (8pm)
San Mateo, CA - August 15, 2008 (7pm)
Sunnyvale, CA - July 11, 2008 (7pm) & August 15, 2008 (7pm)
West Hollywood, CA - July 11, 2008 (7pm) & August 8, 2008 (7pm)
Century City, CA - August 13, 2008 (8pm)
Cerritos, CA - July 30, 2008 & August 21, 2008
Costa Mesa, CA - July 23, 2008 (6pm) & August 27, 2008 (6pm)
Arcadia, CA - July 24, 2008 (7pm) & August 28, 2008 (7pm)
Northridge, CA - July 15, 2008 (7pm) & August 21, 2008 (7pm)

YA will be sending "goodybags" to those who attend the Preview Parties. The goodybag contains a specially made (not sold in stores!) DVD of "Korean Drama Classics, Vol.1" in YA's exclusive "I Heart K-Drama" to-go bag!

I'm so glad Borders is hosting Kdrama preview nights. I live in Costa Mesa (was hoping it would be the Borders in South Coast) but the Newport Blvd. store is just a 12 min. bus ride.

I checked the YA Border's list & they have Hollywood listed but no date. Hollywood would probably be the easiest one & closest one for me to get to (I live in Glendale & don't have a car, at the moment).
If anybody finds out any date & time info for the Hollywood store, please relay it on the board to via a PM!! Thanks!!

zashibear and lex07... I saw this thread the first time this weekend so missed the 7/11 date for the West Hollywood event, BUT am planning on going to the Aug 8 one. I live in North Hollywood. When it gets closer, the 3 of us should PM and discuss going and meeting.
lex07, I work on the West Side, so it would be hard to pick you up, but would be willing to take you home.
Any luck with the Hollywood one? I'm thinking they didn't want stores too close together (in the general area).
I'll be going to the Century City one, too. Let me know if anyone is interested, too.
Hope everyone checks in with a review of their event! I'm sure they are all arranged to be the same for each store, but would be fun/interesting to compare notes!
