K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
If DJ is indeed the missing boy, then the fact that he was raised by his grandmother wouldn't make much since because "Dad" was best friends with DJ's dad and wouldn't he have inquired of the grandmother about the boys disappearance?

Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
There has been a lot of quessing as to why Inho dad has an obsession with dj.
My take:
Inho Dad and DJ's were both muscian. Dad plays the Sax and DJ's Dad, as I remember played the claronet. There are unanswered question right now and as all Korean dramas do, the answer will be unfolded. I think what happen here is that Dad was somehow envolved in DJ's Dads death either by accident of contributed to it. Dad so loaded down with guilt that it ran off the Mom. She goes out into the world and becomes rich (not sure how). Now she wants to be in her Childrens lives and all they know is that she left them.
So the drama goes on. I love this one so much I even stay awake to watch it instead of taping.

After reading prior posts (before getting to yours), I was thinking the same thing. BUT, if it turns out this way, what a weird coincidence.... wouldn't this be the same circumstance that this actor had in his last drama when he was the ex-army guy. class blockquote I love this one so much Me, too!! Except last night I was watching the repeat on C-Span of the train ride down from Philly, I couldn't believe I forgot to switch over.

Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
Looks like Inho & Jeonseol are falling for each other, though Inho is fighting it!! What a nasty witch that Yeongju is She deserves a "smackdown" & I was hoping Inho would give it to her, after getting splashed with water...but there's still plenty of time, for Yeongju to get what's coming to her!! And that Kang Min is one psycho, with a "volcano" temper!!
Wonder what that comment by Inho's dad to her mom meant..."You killed once for money"
Also, wonder if Sinho's stomach attack...as well as, Sera's comment...will make Bori re-think her situation?? Think that she wants a kiss to see if she feels anything, as well as Sinho, but I'm thinking that she will leave Seoul & head back to the country...leaving Sinho behind, in order to "protect" him
Really like this drama!!
--- Nam Sang-Mi...my favorite K-drama actress & a BEAUTIFUL woman!!
Chae Rim...my 2nd favorite K-drama actress & gorgeous!!

K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
how about this scenario: Both dads, being musicians, weren't very well off financially. Sax's wife, with three children, struggling to make ends meet gets consolation and affection from clarinet dad, have an affair but then leaves both men (sax and clarinet) for richer man and moves to the states. Clarinet dad gets double "whammy", loss of woman he loved and guilt from betraying best friend, (Sax man) too distraught for life, kills himself.

Good ideas, curly carrot!
This is another one of those dramas that (for me, at least) blurs much of the black and white into gray. Can't you sympathize with Dad (though I don't like him much)? And with Mom (though I don't like what she did)?
Same with Bori and Sinho. I can understand her feelings and position, but something about her makes me dislike her a lot. Sinho is an irresponsible playboy type, but his father and sister forcing him to marry Bori isn't going to make him one day wake up and be in love with Bori, loving married life with her and a baby.
I can understand the father's stand, but not Inho's. What within her is making her force her brother into a situation that is killing the guy? I just can't see the benefit outweighing the harm. Who will be happy, including the child? Inho is so all together and in charge of everybody's lives—except her own. She was forced by circumstance to become the 'mother' figure to her siblings, but her personal socialization is stuck at about age 12, as evidenced by her complete inability to behave 'normally' (her age) after the near-kiss with Jeonseol.
As for Bori and Sinho, it won't surprise me if she wises up and goes back home—or at least lets Sinho off the hook. I also sort of expect that eventually Sinho will develop feelings for her and end up with her. That leaves Sera high and dry. But then, usually characters like her don't end up with the person they love, anyway.
I couldn't get into this one at the beginning, but am finding it more appealing now. There are enough characters of every sort to like and dislike in this one. I have always liked the roles the divorced mother has played. She's a good actress and usually takes meaningful parts she can really sink her teeth into.

Wonder if Sua will tell Playboy about his "mom" insisting to go to the hospital with them and then keep showing up.
I like how the mom and two daughters get along so well. The outdoor exercise scene was fun!
