Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
The basic 3-act dramedy
Act 1 - boy meets girl - show 1
Act 2 - boy loses girl - last night
Act 3 - boy gets girl back - wonder if we'll have to wait until the end
K-dramas have a lot of inter-office romances, don't they!
Edited to add: talking about Inho + Jeonseol

If they do end up a couple (at least for awhile), I think it will be a surprise to all of them.

I was hoping she didn't get an abortion. I think the mother is going to use her to get to her children. She looks so different when her hair is straight.

K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
Jeonseol is so "attractive" in so many ways..it is only a matter of time before Inho gives in to the outside pressures and sees her future to include Jeonseol...he is so much like her own father (who she respects and admires greatly) and if she doesn't want him...I'll take him (LOL)
Bori is headed to a romance with the driver/assistant to the restaurant owner which will bring forth the jealousy card which I hope Bori doesn't fall for as I see her being better off with the driver (someone who appears to be one that could be totally devoted to her) Marrying Sinho because of the child and any lingering love/lust feelings for him would be a mistake for all parties involved. The best that should come from this error in judgement and action would be Sinho's conversion and change of character and Bori's maturing and acceptance of the realities and consequences of wrong choices. The writer has already put in place a possible "good father and husband" and I hope they follow through with that arc.

Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
I know its been talked about, but when Inho's father finds out that Jeonseol is his BFF's son..... what cause/effect will be put on I+J's love relationship. Maybe just a relief that he found the boy!! Can you imagine they turn out to be step b/s. I know you guys brought up the Lost Boy sign the ex keeps. Maybe Inho's father found out the new BF was his BFF, and like (b)nsheldon(/b) said, went into a rage, accidently killed him and the boy ran off to his grandmother's who no one knew where she lived.
Or, father had so much guilt having an affair and conceiving a child with BFF's wife, he took the boy to the grandmother's and commited suicide.
Also, remember Inho's flashback as a little girl who went to where her mother lived with her new BF..... after overhearing their conversation Inho threw a rock breaking the window and I think then ran away. I guess her mother/bf never got a chance to see who it was. Then, when Inho's father told his ex that Inho had gone to their house, I was surprised the mother didn't put 2+2 together and realized it was Inho who threw the rock. No big deal and dosen't change the storyline, but just surprised.

Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
I have watched only bits and pieces of this drama from the beginning, but now I've had the time to watch all the unedited episodes and have paid particular attention to Episode 1; all the scenes between the divorced parents, Song Insun (the bio-mother) and Jang Ilnam (the father of Inho, Sinho, and Jinho); and any information that sheds light on the 'mystery boy.'
Episode 1 & 2
Narration, as Inho and her father travel to the gravesite, she says: class ul "On this road I met the person of my Dad's secret. Only later would I find out that he was my destiny."At the gravesite, Inho asks her father whose grave this is, is she related to the deceased, since Ilnam (Dad) has never told her brothers about this grave and their annual trip there... class ul Dad's response is only "You [Inho] are the one he'd most like to see," and that the deceased "died because his heart was broken."Jeonseol was "raised by his grandmother, without any parents."
Episode 4
Insun (bio-mom) and her assistant/driver Dongu (Dongho) first appear.
Episode 5 & 6
Dongu (driver) gives Insun a large envelope with photos of her three children. class ul IS: Doesn't Inho have an older brother? He should be about 35 years old.
DH: The detective said there are only three.Insun and Ilham meet... class ul Jinho was 2-yrs. old when his parents divorced.
Dad was 37, Mom 36.Insun pulls out the flier with the pic of the missing child... class ul IS: [This is] Lee Inho, the boy you were dying to find.... Because of him, our family broke into pieces
IN: You cheated on me...
IS: You made me that way. Who pushed me to be that way?! You resented me for losing that boy every minute of the day! class ul The flier:
Name: Lee Inho [same given name as the daughter, "Inho"]
Born: 1973 / 8 years old [that would make Lee Inho 35 years old]
Date lost: December 19, 1981Episode 7
Insun and Ilnam meet again, she pressing to meet her children. She again brings out the flier with the missing boy, handing it to Ilnam... class ul IS: They [her children] will be shocked, but they'll understand.
IN: (angrily throws flier on table) Why bring up this embarrassment now?!!Episode 9
Insun and Ilnam meeting yet again. Ilnam complains to his ex-wife that Sinho doesn't want to get married—ever—because he remembers his parents only fighting all the time...[class=/ul]IS: Sinho was two when Mr. Lee died. You didn't trust me as a person. You yelled every day that he died because of me and told me to leave. Until the day we got a divorce, for five years he [Sinho] saw us fight. What could he have learned from us?! [Sinho was seven when parents finally divorced. He secretly still carries a photo of his mother in his wallet.] class p Episode 10
Sinho in hospital, gastric ulcers from being forced to marry Bori against his will. Insun and Ilnam talking in corridor. Mom intends to pay off Bori to make her disappear and not ruin Sinho's life... class ul IN: People don't change. You're still the same. You killed a person over money, and you'll do the same thing again?
IS: Yes, I like money. I got a divorce because of money, and I had to be apart from my children for 20 years. Money was cruel to me! I'm going to pay it back!
IN: If you really care about Sinho, don't make him suffer mentally. If he abandons her [Bori], he will live as a sinner forever."I've seen completed, unedited episodes only through #10. This weekend we are scheduled to see #13-14.

Catching up on this one too, it has a who's who of my favorite actors-but something is missing from it for me-maybe it needs a good villain to be brought into it. This might be why I like windy city better than my precious you. Windy City has a cast full of villains. They are all morose and thoroughly unlikeable people- its like watching scorpions in a jar -you don't sympathize with the scorpions but they are fascinating to watch.

Re: K-Drama: 내사랑 금지옥엽 (My Precious You)
Lex,
true, Kang Min and jeonsul's ex are the worst of the bunch and i thought of them when writing my previous post. Kang Min seems to me to be more insecure, frightened and shallow than truly mean. jeonsul's ex has something in common with Inho-both are in hopelessly in love with men that other people think they should not love and both are willing to pay a very high price to be with the man they love. Since I like Inho I can't completely dislike the ex of Jeon sul.
I like My Precious You-it just seems to me that it needs something. i can't put my finger on what it needs. If this show was food I would say it needs more salt-or something.
