Re: K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
OH, MAN!!! This is sooo good with all the plot lines and we are only at ep 39!!
I can't believe the Queen is sooo stupid. The more she acts like this the more the King will accept his "gift concubine". Of course, he's not that smart either.
One of the Master's minions may not be so loyal...hee, hee!
IE is up for a big challenge!! Will the Empress help defend her? Of course, for her own benefit.

K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
i have been enjoying this drama but I do find these (this one in particular) require much more constant attention to keep all the "officials" straight and lately I have been distracted many times while watching this so I probably won't be posting much but I will be watching along with the rest of you.

K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
Yes, it certainly keeps your attention, and is much better than Princess JuM on the other channel. I like the actress who plays the Iron Empress very much. She is an excellent actress. The supporting cast is outstanding also.

K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
Hi everyone - I'm watching this on WMBC in the NY/NJ area which unfortunately cuts out about one-quarter of each episode as it airs about 50 minutes and the complete episode is more like 64 minutes - I rewatch it online.
Anyway according to one of the other boards - don't remember if it's Chicago or Philly, this drama is extremely inaccurate historically....
But I like it anyway - on episode 17 here...

K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
Well, it is fictionalized history which is common in Korean drama and for that fact many other countries historical dramas are mostly fiction loosely based of some actual facts. I have tried to authenticate the history, but can not seem to find any actual data. This is not however true with the Japanese Saturday history dramas.
If it's fact or fiction, it still is one of the better shows on at the time with THE SLINGSHOT.

Agree, I'm okay if not historically accurate....I'm in it for the drama.

Re: K-Drama: 천추태후 (The Iron Empress)
Oh, man! Little Cutie isn't little any more. We had a major time jump. Don't you hate it when the kids get older, but the adult main characters don't age.
LOL, did we need a report to tell us the King is a druggie. Hello, when someone yells that their "drugs are wearing off" is a good indication that they are addicted. At least the Queen is suspicious, but not enough. Tonight was the one time I'm glad she and her entourage were listening outside the King's door.
Okay, if "Little Cutie" Prince is this old, then the Prince who was spared his life is about 5 years younger. And, if the IE is freed, then the gal who was suppose to kill both the Baby Prince and his father, will now be able to seek the Baby Prince out and bring him back to run the kingdom. Isn't her Master dead now, so she can get away with doing this.
More exciting events about to happen!

Master and his minions are going to be surprised since they thought he was murdered. What's to happen to Minion Gal who was suppose to have done the dirty deed?
Now that the King has died (or just about to), wonder what happens to his Consort? Will she be asked to leave or passed on to the new King? Also, when news of his death spreads, we'll probably see the other Queen jump back into action to control those lands.
Well, most of the Queen's followers were killed at the attack at the IE's home. Will she have enough minions to keep her there or be exiled?
The Princess who lives with IE's place, is she her son's wife? I got confused about her.
Both the Prince and Princess are good at archery, but both of them were useless when they were attacked.
===================
After tonight's ep, Forman Kim is going to be the death of IE. He keeps going behind her back and doing the opposite of what she agreed not to do by killing those men. I was glad that she was willing to listen to her personal council and not take revenge and kill everyone who was against her, but Forman Kim sees things differently because of his own agenda.

Forman Kim is playing a big hand in how things are being run at the Palace. He's the one who put the bug in IE's ear to get her son married.
