K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Seems like a lot of the female cast are related in one way or another, and will probably wind up at the same Model Agency. Suin is in a difficult situation by marrying a man she didn`t love. In the future she might as well marry a man with mutual love and and understanding and try to overcome her situation in that way.

wow, the writers took the initiative and veered away from the usual "cruel but necessary rejection technique" that we usually see after someone is reprimanded and rejected by a possible future in-law. Suin did say she understood Hyeonsu's mother's objections but she didn't come right out and say that she had no feelings for Hyeonsu...rather she wished she was the old Suin. I will continue to hope for a future for these two. Although I don't agreee with the request, it was smart of hyeonsu to move back home...he truly is a good, but very smart son because by doing this he will alleviate some of his mother's worries and concerns about him.
How about this scenario added to the mix of mystery...Hiro ends up being the son of the modelling agency's director (I don't remember her name) Now wouldn't that be a hoot.

Maybe, it's me...but I don't get how people in Korea think Miryeong is not gorgeous & "model material"
I do agree with Jisu though...Suin's mom (name?) is very attractive & would be a great model but not sure if she's up to it.Since even the younger Korean actresses are a minimum of 5'7" and weigh only 105 lbs, the current standard of model 'beauty' is a tall, very thin person. In the Western world, the minimum height is 5'10" (which is actually considered almost too short), with skin draped over a skeleton, then enhanced with implants. Our Miryeong is beautiful, but she is way too short and too heavy for modeling standards. Don't forget that most models look and dress to impress women, not men. The customer is primarily female. For example, I have yet to meet a man who finds the models in Vogue magazine attractive.
On the other hand, Suin's mother is the perfect woman to model the furs for the client Red Glasses assigned to Jisu, isn't she? The model for that job needs to be sophisticated, elegant, and beautiful. Suin's Mom fits that bill! class blockquote curly carrot wrote:

I was thinking what a pleasure it was for once to see a guy's mother be civil and considerate to the unwanted, 'inappropriate' woman complicating her son's future. I was surprised that Sunjeong didn't ask Suin to leave her job—that it was unfair to ask that of her.
Of course she didn't have to with Chowon (or is it Chow-off) working her evil magic in trying to get Suin removed from Hyeonsu's project. (Actually, I think I prefer your name for her, nsheldon... Chow!, hopefully soon to be Ciao!) I hated that smug look Chow had plastered on her face after her boss insisted that Suin be taken off the project if his company is going to sponsor the program.
I'm enjoying this drama. The story is interesting and I find the majority of the cast quite appealing—instead of the reverse.

So far,I am agreeing with most of the comments. I actually look forward to this show where I have not the last two.
I know, I am in the minority, but besides Chowon, Hiro is my least favorite. Why, I don't know. His looks are not especially appealing to me so that might be the reason. Also, his behavior is somewhat immature or silly.

Off the cuff question. Why is it that in all the dramas the men and women refuses to let go of relationships, that has been over for years and each partners has rightfully moved on, but these people just keep coming back for more heartache. Don't the understand the meaning on NO ITS OVER? Why?

I am surprised Suin cannot see through Chowon and her manipulations. Hyeonsu should have said something to Suin's father about Chowon and her ulterior motives. It's not that the parents favor Suin, but that she is very needy now.

Minsu and Miryeong have an interesting relationship. Minsu loves her, but doesn`t respect her, and won`t until she shows she can make it outside the home. I wonder how long Chowon will stick around as a character, she seems just vindictive now.
