Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I really want to like Sumi but her outbursts at Suin, whether justified or not (because of the favoritism shown to Suin), is a bit much
It's not bad enough that Minsu "pushed" Yongjun into that cerebal hemorrage (sp?) but now he's going to deny ALL responsiblity for his part in the insurance fraud scam He's, easily, my least favorite character of the show...and, now, more than ever I know that his mother told him to do what Yongjun wanted him to do...allow Yongjun to take all the blame...but I'm still bothered by the decision!!
I'm also a bit mystified at the "lack of emotion" shown by Jisu, at the news of her dad's condition...especially, considering how Jongseon reacted

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I wonder if the circumstances surrounding the death of Yonghwan and his Mother will ever be cleared up. It seems everybody has some guilt,or at least can be blamed. The grandfather blames his son for his wife`s death, because he either operated or assisted in the operation. Now with Yongjun`s stroke,Minsu must assume some blame. There is going to have to be much forgiveness before the framily has peace.

Minsu and his Auntie would make a great couple, too bad they`re related. Very emotional with big mouths. Exactly why anyone with back problems would choose Minsu`s hospital (record of insurance fraud) isn`t clear. Maybe he can pay some people to advertise miracle cures.

Mother the enabler, she condones everything her son Minsu has done, then is trying to run her other son's life by marrying him off to Chowow because she likes her, what about his feelings? This mother and sister are one of a kind annoying..

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Agreed, nsheldon...Minsu & Auntie are GREEDY, though not "evil"!!
I like the way Gramps took charge of the family, in the wake of Yongjun's condition...though, not crazy about his "blind trust" in Minsu...& the interaction between Hiro & Jisu, after he cooked for her!! She's SOOO cute, too I also like Hiro's personality...can't understand why so many dislike him
Wonder what kind of "guilt trip" Suin's ex-MIL is going to lay on her...and I hope Suin doesn't listen to Seonyoung & leave without telling Hyeonsu!! Actually, I don't think Suin will leave, at all...something will happen to keep her in Korea!! Not sure what, though!!
Where's Chow?? I actually miss her

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I am a bit torn with the decisions being made concerning Suin and her ex's baby (we mustn't forget he is the father whether anyone likes it or not) It is true that Korean culture and human rights differ from the American ways, however, concealing the true identity of the child from its grandparents is too deceitful and will cause more harm, especially to the child, in the future. Suin needs to toughen up in the right ways and gather all the available evidence to prove that the child and herself would be endangered if custody was given to him. If she were to establish herself (which she currently is making steps to do) as a responsible woman capable of providing for and raising her own child then even by Korean standards, the child couldn't be taken away from her. It probably will be difficult to prove the abuse (but not impossible)...and what motive or justification would she have to protect her ex's lifestyle and personality? I say protect not only your child but protect your own rights as well and don't just keep running from your problems.

Curly Carrot:
I think she has the goods to help her keep her baby or else I do not think she would of returned to Korea, we really do not know what she has she has been keeping very secretive, the old biddy MIL and FIL do not want their dirty laundry to be exposed they will back down, but considering the MIL personality she will try to run rough shots over Suin.
Another poit who will raise the child not the grandparents, the son laughable, they will try to have her return to the fairy and go back to America.
