K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Can`t feel any sympathy for Ex. Instead of seeking medical treatment for his many psych problems, he came back to Korea out of control, blaming everybody except himself. I guess Dr. Dad will gradually get back his memory. He`s probably blocking out memories of his brother`s and mother`s death.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I think the only reason Suin agreed with the Ex to go to the states with him, was so that she could get him to calm down and get out of the violent situation she was in. In abusive relationships, when things are getting heated, you tend to say and do whatever you can to protect yourself.
I found it very symbolic that the Ex has the blood of his child on his hands. It is going to be an all out war now between Suin's family and the ex's family.
I felt so bad for Suin at the end of Friday's episode. It was very sad.

Suin should run away as fast as she can. Never think that your abusive ex is feeling repentent and things will be "different" now. Your Ex has a plan for you. As soon as he gets you away from your family, you are as good as toast. He feels that the loss of this child is really your fault. You drove him to the cruel things that he does. Therefore, in the mind of the ex, Suin should be severly punished. If Suin goes with him, she will not survive. If the writers are interested in treating this subject honestly, they will not humanize him. Abusers cannot be "humanized" unless they have some serious long term treatment and most of them are never "cured". Their ego doesn't allow them to tell the therapist the reality of their cruelity-most of them feel it is no one elses business-not even the therapist.
From the minute she returns it will begin. (I've been there done that). Suin should run to the safety and comfort of her family. Remember, no one deserves to be abused. Let the family rip him apart legally. After getting away it will take time for her to undo the damage of living with a creep like that (she was on that journey and making progress when all of this stuff happened). After awhile, Suin will find herself again--a bit changed but much stronger and Suin has a brighter future with Hyeonsu to look forward to..
